Nintendo Switch pre-orders have disappeared fast in various territories, but Best Buy has topped up its stock enough to offer 'Limited Quantities' of pre-orders on its website.
At the time of writing only the grey model is still showing as available when you go to the product page, with the neon Joy-Con model showing as 'coming soon' once again.
- Nintendo Switch with Grey Joy-Cons - $299.99
The aim is to ship them for launch day, but on social media it's not being explicitly guaranteed, with Best Buy's Twitter crew saying that the objective is to get them out for 3rd march.
With thanks to Makakilo Man for the heads up.

Neon is available now as well.. no in store pickup available
"The aim is to ship them at launch day"
On the website order page it says get it by the launch date, 3/3.
"Shipping:Pre-order
Get it by 3/3/2017"
Just pre-ordered. Would rather store pick up but it's all good.
I mentioned this earlier in a previous post. Ninty maxing there production
'Get yours before they're gone'
Hate this crap. I won't flock to your bread crumbs, Nintendo! Lol
Hooray! Just ordered one! Thought it was all but hopeless to get one for launch by this point.
Sold out again....
NO, I GOT ONE!!!!
That cart thing happened, but then I went to the website by typing it in the address bar. Success!!
Add one to the cart, it gets deleted when you go to checkout. The same is happening with Breath of the wild special edition. Nvm it appears you have to click the link in the article, going to the website doesn't seem to pull up the same deal.
And when supplies are gone...

oh crud, they do authorization checks for preorders. Welp, mine is about to get cancelled lol.
GOT ONE! WOO! Thanks, NintendoLife!
It's encouraging that Nintendo is actually getting product out. Hopefully this trend continues, I think when people see the switch in action, there will probably be some consumer demand to get more come summer.
Buy it from Amazon Mexico! Only USD$460! Yes, you read it right, only 460 dollars! It's available right now!

EDIT: It's gone guys, sorry you missed the incredible 460 dollars offer.
Switches available?
The Nintendo Switch preorder is going to be a new door hinge pretty soon.
Preorders for Nintendo Switch:
"Open"
"Closed"
"Open"
"Closed"
That's cool though. It makes sense to open the preorders this weekend since Nintendo will air their Super Bowl add.
Is it because they got more stock or people cancelled?
Great news! Hopefully one will be available for me 😃
So why is the stock so limited again? Does this kind of thing usually happen when it comes to consoles. I'll probably look into this a bit more, but I wouldn't mind hearing some other views.
I was just posting this lol...
I must have missed this article. Nice scoop NintendoLife, I think you just made a lot of people happy
If my birthday weren't a month later and my wife weren't promising a Switch as a birthday gift, I would jump on this. I'm soooooo tempted!
@-Green-
All console launches are like this. Have to understand there are millions of units being prepared for launch day, so it's not that it's limited... quite the opposite actually. The supply isn't limited, the demand is just insanely high.
Usually it levels back out anywhere after 30 days to 6 months (depending if the popularity is more in line with Wii U or a Wii). There's always lines on launch day because stores pre-allocate a certain percentage of units for a walk in orders. I remember trying to find a Wii for 6 months straight and all stores were sold out- it took forever to get that console. Because everybody would go to the store the day their Tuesday shipments would come in and would gobble them up right away. People like me who worked and couldn't make it to the store the moment they're shipping truck arrived on Tuesdays was basically out of luck.
edit
OK I think I might have misinterpreted your post. Were you talking about limited with respect to Best Buy? My guess is they either pile up the cancellations until a substantial quantity is there to list, or, Nintendo is making good on ramping up production another million for launch. If the latter is true then we should be seeing it go live on other sites soon. And I believe I heard something about it going live in the UK earlier, so maybe that is what's happening
@JaxonH I'll look into it, and see how true that holds up to be.
All sold out now.
I'll buy on april or may, calm, nice and easy.
Because the game I want the most is FE Warriors!
@TheLZdragon Meanwhile all the unsold Wii Us can only watch and cry.
Really glad I was able to secure a pre-order on this already, hope people who still needed one got one!
Sold out- what a joke. You can't pre-order anything from this stupid company, it's gone in about 2 minutes. Screw this, I'm keeping my money
Nintendo have 4 weeks to re-stock!
Still available in UK at nintendo Store AND Amazon but - well, we are the UK so we're a bit crap plus Brexit prices lol ( actually - not funny. . . .)
Sold out....
That one lasted a long time actually! I don't think that was cancellations piling up but real stock. Good sign. Would love to see Nintendo get close to meeting demand. That's good for everyone.
I'm amazed that a company most people call nearing dead can bring so much attention to their products. The 3ds and nes mini are practically in no store officially, and the switch is impossible to preorder
@nab1 That's something I don't see covered very much. The 3DS was in very short supply leading up to the Holidays in the US at least. I got one, but when I kept looking for better deals afterwards all I found was "out of stock". Can't blame Nintendo too much for being surprised by the 3DS resurgence. That Pokémon GO phenomenon in combination with a very strong main Pokémon release did wonders for the 3DS I think.
@NintySnesMan worst grammar ever
People keeping saying that Switch preorders are sold out so the system is successful already really iritates me. There are just so few units available, that's all. I went to preorder mine and the shop I went to said they were getting only ONE console at launch! ONE! Nintendo only put 500 units for my whole frigging country, according to that shop. I went to another one, they said they weren't even sure to get a single unit at launch because they heard the same thing about most countries of continental Europe getting very little amounts of systems. It's outrageous, it's the NES Classic all over again, and people applaud.
I'm not spending money on a console that nintendo just came out and said that you cannot access the battery but we will slap a warranty on it so when it dies you can send your console away for repairs. No thanks. Also, once the battery life is gone ur console is useless. Read all this from nintendo life. I'll stick with classic gaming a/c, d/c never runs out.
I got an email from a place I shop said they had 10 available for preorder. www.kinggrizzlysales.com On their site now. I've bought other things from here including a great deal on dragon quest 8 for 3ds. I'd recommend them. I'm thinking about it but funds are tight.
I pre bought mine at Gamestop but and its a big BUT! They did not confirm the date I would recieve my Switch. It was Mail order only no in store pick up. My guess or hope is that I have before March 7th. After the 7th and im going to start getting nervous about the order I placed. I placed directly through Gamestops website. But the order itself was a little vague. In otherwords no Guarantee's and they have not Charged my Card yet. It says they will not Charge me until the item ships which im happy about. I just hope im not left waiting like a month or 2 before they ship it. It was gamestops 2nd run at selling the Switch
