Re: Review: Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)

Darn you Americans, spelling all of your words differently! (just so you know, the American English is derived from British English, not the other way around.) On a less nerdy note, I'd love to get this game, but there are just so many other amazing Wii games I need to get first. SMG2, NSMBWii, Smash Bros Brawl, MKWii, Metroid Other M, Goldeneye, etc.

Looks completely awesome! I'm not a big fan of insanely hard games, but this just sounds too good to miss! By the way, is the WiiWare version exactly the same as the XBLA version, online leaderboards and all?

Nice. I might think about getting this. Good review, Corbs (I swear every game you review gets a 9 or 10!). One question though: Is the Main Game the only mode or are there any other extras? (I know about collecting feathers and beating times.)

"It's a much darker episode in our hero's life, and is full of depressing themes, dreary hidden messages, sad music, and an overall gloomy theme. YOU'LL LOVE IT!"

Awesome.

Anyway, I can't wait to get this when I get a Wii, and I'm glad it's only 800 points.

Re: Black Ops Wii Headset Beats Game to Retail Shelves

"God I hope Conduit 2 turns out good...
So that peripherals like this are more commonplace.
Wii so badly needs it's own Halo/Killzone to give its hardcore image a push.
So far we've had games that prove the concepts work, but not many that actually have depth and ambition. C2 looks to be such a game, with everything I've heard they are really pushing this one."

I agree. However C2 turns out though, I don't think it's going to get enough recognition to change many people's image of the Wii.

Re: Japanese 3DS Surveys Reveal Awareness Low, Price Too High

When the 3DS has been out for a few months, that's the time to start doing surveys. There's not much point asking people for their opinions on a machine that they haven't even held in their hands yet, IMO. And trust me, as soon as they do, they'll take back what they said about the price.

Re: Review: NBA Jam (Wii)

This is great and all, but I'm very annoyed with the devs for not giving the Wii version online play. I'd still buy the game without online, but what possible motive is there to stop the Wii version having online? Why are people determined to make the Wii look worse than other consoles?
