Nintendo should have done something similar what Microsoft have done with the new 360 controller - a slide pad that can also function as a d-pad. Then you get both functions with no uncomfortable placement.

@ecco6t9 Exactly. For christ's sake, people, we get a new Mario or Zelda game every five minutes, wouldn't you rather have a new IP for a change? Steel Diver will be brilliant, just play that and be grateful!

Good review. Still not sure about this one thogpugh. I loved the Pop Island games but they did get stale, and this one sounds no different. I also wish Odenis' games didn't make you have to unlock practically everything.

Well I don't mind what comes out on launch day 'cos I won't be getting a 3DS until June at the earliest, and by then most of the anticipated games will be out.

I live right next to Bristol! The event is ten days after my birthday, maybe I can persuade my parents to take me! Or if not, I might be going to Manchester around my birthday to see Manchester United, so maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to go to that! (But probably not).

From the videos I've seen, Paper Mario looks incredible. Can't wait to play it. Thanks for the impressions James.

I'm happy either way. Achievements and trophies extend replay value but often they make you do some really annoying or boring task for an extra 10G or whatever. If done right achievements are great, but I'll be fine without 'em.

Not that I'd be able to get this on launch day, but this great news all the same.

Can't wait to try out some of the classics I never got to play.
