Re: Wii Responsible for Worrying Wave of Bystander Injuries

LuWiiGi

I almost broke my cousin's TV once when we were playing the Wii in his living room. It was during Swordplay on Wii Sports Resort, and I kept getting angry at this opponent who was really good, so I swung the Wii Remote really hard and it went flying into the TV. At least I won the round. @Sadman Your new avatar is awesome, and disturbing.

Re: Review: Shantae: Risky's Revenge (DSiWare)

LuWiiGi

I can't really say it was a great review Corbie, 'cause I didn't read it after you told me not to.

Seriously though, I wish I could DL it, but it's not in Europe yet. Come on WayForward, America isn't the only place in the world that wants Shantae!

Re: Interviews: WayForward - Shantae: Risky's Revenge

LuWiiGi

What a nice guy, I can't wait to see what he has in store for 3DS. And his wife is a genius.

Only one thing in this interview disappointed me, which is that you didn't ask Matt about a European release date, cos I can't wait to DL this gold!

Re: Retro Computer Museum Event Incoming

@Victoria Lucky, I live down south in Bath, and wouldn't be able to go anyway, I'm just a kid and no way would my dad drive me to Leicestershire to play videogames. Oh well, I guess I was just born too late.

Re: Nintendo Claims 1 in 3 UK Homes Owns a Wii

LuWiiGi

The picture makes it look like everyone in Britain has a lovely house. Mine's awesome, but I live in Bath, the most beautiful city in Britain.
And where I'm from, the Wii ain't all that popular, unfortunately.

Re: Prepare for Celebrity Overload in Nintendo's Christmas Campaign

LuWiiGi

Oh god, I can't believe Nintendo got the worst possible British celebs they could find. It really does not get worse than this.
Terry Wogan - He's tried so hard but never entertained me. Only popular with women in their 60s.
Jamie Redknapp and Wag - Great idea, ask a Scouser for his opinion.
Dame Helen Mirren - Probably doesn't know who Mario is.
Ant and Dec - No one cares about them anymore.
JLS - Like McFly, but with even less talent. Basically I hate them.
X Factor People - Three (or four, if Jedward count as two) talentless losers from my least favourite TV show.

The only thing Nintendo could do to make this worse is add Brucie Forsyth into the mix. Being British sucks.

Re: Nintendo Download: 4th October 2010 (North America)

LuWiiGi

@MasterGraveheart Now you can die happy.

@Gavin Yeah, I refuse to wait six months while our friends across the pond brag about how great their Shantae is, while all we get from NoE is the Petz series.

(Imagine if NL give Shantae a 5/10, I think it would break my heart)

Re: Be Britain's Best Nintendo Gamer and Win a 3DS

LuWiiGi

I would enter this but I'd probably fail and then get really upset when I come last. I remember Mario vs Luigi mode on NSMB DS...the tension is just too much. Then again, everyone's an XBOX fan around here, so I can imagine being the only one to enter.

Re: Review: Wii Party (Wii)

LuWiiGi

No, no, no, no, no. Nintendo, this is what the Wii needs less of, not more of. We need more of what the XBOX 360 has. Are you trying to steer hardcore gamers away?

Re: Review: Goosebumps HorrorLand (Wii)

LuWiiGi

No one would ever think about putting this kind of crap on the 360, so why do they put it on the Wii? That's the Wii's problem. 90% of the good games are Nintendo games. Which is probably because the Wii has a wider audience, meaning kids will fall for shovelware.
