Anyway, I'm glad Treyarch actually made an effort with this, but I still don't see why they left some features out. I know the Wii is less of a "hardcore" console, but surely they should still treat it the same. Why complain though, it got a 9 after all.

This sounds utterly pointless, much like most of DSiWare's apps, but at least this is free.

Much like Call of Duty Black Ops, it was the name people were buying. I think to find out whether core games will easily sell on Wii we'll have to see how Conduit 2 does.

More tower defence? Urrrgh, someone release something different on DSiWare already!

Y'know, I'd love to get this, but it just seems like shooters on DS are, well, wrong.

I also have a question: in addition to the campaign and the multiplayer, is there any other content, like extra single-player modes, achievements, unlockables, etc?

@X-145 Believe me, there are more good DSiWare games, Shantae being the obvious choice (it got 10/10 here on NL).

Also, I hope this doesn't turn out like Asphalt 4, but it has bad graphics and I never get my hopes up for Ninty's download services these days.

Other than NFS: Nitro X, this week is utter crap for you poor Americans. Still better than most of what Europe gets, though.

1. Nintendo are CRAP advertisers.
2. The extremely overhyped Black Ops, which I still want to get but my parents won't allow me to (everyone else is allowed ).
3. People don't trust Sonic anymore.
4. The casuals have all gone off to play Kinect (wait 'til they find out how crap the games are! Not that they'd care though, after all, they're casuals).
5. This is isn't a reason, but I'm amazed no-one has mentioned the spelling of 'colours' yet (colors is just...wrong).
6. Oh crap, I just realised JesusSaves' comment is very similar to mine.
7. I think I've said crap a bit too much.

Because hardcore games on Wii hardly ever sell well. I can guarantee you this would be a huge success if it had been released on XBOX/PS3. I guess it's just the way things are...

Also I completely agree with Vinsanity.

Wow, cool. Nice review, the screenshots make the game look a bit ugly but if it's as good as you say it is then that kind of thing doesn't really matter.

@mariofanatic Climber, Artisan and Thorium are all great and the two GO games you mentioned are decent, but if that's all we get in two months, that's pretty bad. Across the board DSiWare is around 70% shovelware. There are good games, but not enough of them to make DSiWare a decent service.

DSiWare is just unbelievably poor now. About 1 in 20 releases are actually decent, and even less are worth the money. I wish Nintendo would stop crap like this getting into the DSiWare Shop and only let the good stuff in. Then maybe developers would actually think about the game they're making.

@Trev I have nothing against sports games (I'm a big FIFA fan, actually) but do we really need a new version every year? I just wish EA would try to push the games industry forward is all. Instead all we get is this and My Garden.

I'm not saying this won't be any good, but I just wish Nintendo would focus on making new games. I've had enough of Mario and party games Nintendo (at least take a break from Mario for another few years), and I think we need a few new fighters/shooters/racers! Something like Mass Effect or Assassin's Creed!

This is why people hate the Wii. Too many crappy casual party games! One is enough!

The Super Guide is an awesome idea. It means Ninty can make hard games without having to turn away the less experienced players.

Seriously what is the point of this? Why can't Nintendo make some decent apps for DSiWare (other than FS and maybe Browser)? Or even better, some actual games? Get a grip, Nintendo.
