Much to my dismay I've barely played any Wii or DS games this year. In fact, I haven't played any Wii games at all. I'm really missing out.

BTW, the whip isn't new. It was in Spirit Tracks.

Typically, most games for Ninty systems aren't being announced till late. Should be another great year though.

Finding out about the 3DS at E3...on NLife of course!

Weeeeeeird.

Last year, I got an XBOX 360 for Christmas. My cousin got a Nintendo Wii. Guess what? I preferred his Wii to my XBOX, and he preferred my XBOX to his Wii. Christmas, eh?

I'm getting this on XBLA, so this doesn't matter to me at all, but I feel realy sorry for all of you Wii gamers. Next time, Team Meat, don't announce a game until you're sure you can release it. I also don't understand why they can't release it as a retail game. Either they can't be bothered or there's something else I don't know about. Team Meat are great devs but I don't think this is acceptable. Just my opinion though.

Unless it has something to do with memory, I see no reason why all of XBLA's extra features couldn't be in the Wii version. Most likely Vblank are like many other devs and treat the Wii as inferior. Oh well, why am I complaining, I have an XBOX and no Wii.

Oh good, thanks CB, I'll definitely be getting this (I'd hate to use the SuperGuide but if the worst comes to the worst I'll have to). Great review BTW, glad you finally got a game you deserve.

I got Minis March Again and I loved it (but I hated getting stuck on a level) so I'll get this at some point (probably on 3DS). Anyone else think that the SuperGuide thing from DKCR and NSMBWii would work great on this? Like, you have to pay coins to use it and the level is done for you. It's just that getting stuck on a level is reeeaaaaly annoying.

I agree that Nintendo needs to promote third parties more, because most of the Wii's best games are from Nintendo, and they can't do it all on their own. If you look at the best games that came out this year, the Wii had the least because third parties aren't choosing the Wii IMO. But they should only promote the GOOD third parties ie. not EA.

I think a 3 is generous.
