Switch should definitely get the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot & Rise of the Tomb Raider, especially as both had absolutely excellent ports in the Xbox 360 (please watch YouTube comparisons to the Xbox One/PS4 to see how good they were).

I really can't see 4k from a mobile SOC, seeing as most AAA Switch games struggle with anything above 900p, I'd say give it a faster CPU/GPU & maybe 8gb of RAM & we could then possibly have 1080p & steady frame rates docked & portable.

I certainly will be playing Punch Out!

@Tsurii They definitely changed the controls, I've got the original games on PsVita & on the remaster, the jump mechanics are a lot less forgiving

OMG, I really can’t wait to play this, I’m still in a state of shock that Nintendo’s Direct started with this, I was really hoping they would, but I thought they’d wait & see how the GC port would sell on 3ds (I’ve already pre ordered it) I’ve loved this series since I got the original on my day one GC (LM & Wave-Race) and my kids adore this game & my son made his own Poltergust hoover & regularily role plays this game. I will now go out & buy a Switch for the family, as I’ve held off until the Switch has a game we wanted (I’ve already got all the Wii U games that have been ported over to Switch & why would I buy them twice? 🤔
So now at the announcement of this game, my kids will be opening a Switch & a few games on Xmas morning.

@The_Cysko_Kid plus it was easy to upgrade from Wii to Wii U, as the Wii U was compatible with Wii remotes, whereas with the Switch if you wanted to play a party game you need to buy another pair of Joycons

I’ve still got the original in NGC, but I will be buying this, in hope that if enough people buy this, then a 3rd game in Switch might come next!

One of my all time favourite games, I will be pre ordering this, hopefully in anticipation of Luigi's mansion 3 on Nintendo Switch

I understand that without a Mario game out near the Switch's launch, that a Mario Kart game is a good option, BUT this will be the first MK game rereleased on a new console. I for one won't be re buying a game I bought day one & im praying the Nintendo Switch will be the first Nintendo console that will end up having TWO MK games on it. If not, it will just end up being yet another reason I won't be buying the Switch

@YANDMAN it was a pre Xmas bundle from Very. In fact after my wife bought it, they even had the same bundle that came with Uncharted 4 AND FIFA 2017 ( unbelievable bargain)

I had a feeling my friend that I wouldn't be the only Nintendo fan who would feel this way about the system & its pricing, I won't be pre ordering for the simple fact that if the uk market salesperson slow to start (like the 3ds) then they might be forced to rethink its price (I was a day one purchaser of the 3ds who was then given the ambassador games when the price was dropped)
Another surprise for me is the measly 32GB of storage (yes you can expand, but you shouldn't have to if your paying £280.

So not only are Nintendo wanting £279 in the U.K. For the Switch, they also only put a measly 32GN storage on the system, I think that's very poor tbh, the PS4 & Xbox one S basic models have 500GB for less than £200
I may get a Switch in a year or two, but after weighing up my options, I opted for a PS4 slim console

WOW £279, that's unbelievable, seeing you can buy a PS4 slim or Xbox one S for less than £200 (my wife just bought me a PS4 slim with Uncharted 4 for £180)
I'm a massive Nintendo fan & have owned EVERY Nintendo console (as well as Wii U premium console)
I was hoping the rumours of the basic model costing £199 & a premium package for £250 would be true, but I'm afraid I WONT be paying £279 for a portable Wii U.
Maybe I will pick it up in a year or two for under £200, when more titles are released, but overall I think Nintendo have dropped a major b****ck with the pricing.

Id love Luigi's Mansion 3, but is really love to see Rise of the Tomb Raider & even 2013's Tomb Raider reboot, Nintendo should do a deal with Crystal Dynamics.
Oh I'd also like to see the upcoming Crash Bandicoot N-Sane

It's crazy to expect Xbox One & PS4 level graphics on a handheld, but 4GB of RAM should be plenty for games to look amazing on a 6.2" 720p HD screen. It's a pity the Switch dock doesn't have an extra 2-4GB of RAM so that the games can receive a graphical boost for playing on big screen TVs (upscaled from 720p to 1080p also)

@A01 Don't forget that Rise of The Tomb Raider was also released on Xbox 360 (512mb RAM) and looked great.
It's just had less detail than the Xbox One version.

@technotreegrass yeah I understand that, but my point was , why has it got (two cameras on the back) as this implies it takes 3d pictures/video, which is pointless on a 2d console!! Not unless I missing something!! I would of thought it would of bad one at the front & one at the back like the DSi!!

@StraTTtheRipper What Reggie meant was Xbox 360 & Ps3 games can't be played on XboxOne and Ps4 respectively !! Whereas Wii games can be played on Wii U, so therefore Nintendo have created a natural progression from Wii to Wii U! Plus all Wii peripherals can be used too!!

This game is the (Mario Galaxy game) we were all expecting to be released. Maybe Nintendo decided to not do Mario galaxy 3 as they knew this was in production?? Does look very good though, hopefully a return to form for the Spiky kid!!
