@GameOtaku: You are VERY wrong. As I've stated before, the graphics are nicer, the game is much more difficult, and it saves your high score(s)!

@Jimsbo: As far as I know, the N64 version was "arcade perfect". I'd love to have Popeye, but I think that one is tied up with licensing issues though:/

@joey302: It's so much tougher than the NES version. I think my top score on the N64 version was around 160,000.

@Magrane: Nope, just googled for it and nothing came up:( It's too bad because the game itself wasn't anything special.

@Con1990: Agreed, I'd pay for new themes to choose from besides black or white on the switch; it's LONG overdue. Make it happen already, NINTENDO!

@Yasaal: Again, I disagree. However, I do agree and hope that at some point after Nintendo's entire back catalog of Arcade games are released individually; they put all of them for sale on a cartridge for collector's.

@Dang69: Interesting stand. I've never ordered anything on Etsy before. How safe is it compared to Ebay or Amazon? Let us know if the stand is worth it.

@gaga64: True, this is first time it is available as a stand alone purchase. I believe the N64 version was the international version? I never unlocked Jetpac:( I think the Wii version only came with the red systems when purchased new.

@GameOtaku: I was hoping that Wreck-it-Ralph had the Wreck-it-Ralph arcade game as an unlockable bonus on it, but sadly it didn't.

@brianvgplayer: I loved the 2600 version. It's the version I first played and grew up with. Still have it to this day!

@joey302: Yeah,they did; but it was the NES version with the pie level added. I bought Crosswords 3DS just to get it. DK64 was too tough for me.I had a buddy play through the game just to unlock the arcade.

@joey302: Actually, NOT the first time ever. This game is unlockable in DK64, and the only reason I kept my N64.

Am I missing something or unlike HAMSTER's Mario Bros., this game doesn't save your high scores in original mode?

@Windy: I'm good, yourself? Yeah, I've been absent from the forums for quite some time. I bought a Switch for the Mario Bros. arcade game believe it or not. Here's to hoping for DK Jr, DK 3, & DK.

Needs a proper account system like Sony has that ISN'T attached to the console.

I dumped my new 3ds xl for a new 2ds xl for many reasons. One being that I rarely use the 3d anymore because it would look weird until it focused. But my major reason was the fact that the new 2ds xl has what the new 3ds xl should have had from the beginning: a protected cover for the game and micro sd cards, and not having to use a screw driver to open the system to change sd cards. If Nintendo makes a final revision of the new 3ds xl with the things I just mentioned, I'd happily buy it and dump my new 2ds xl.

This game IS the reason I just bought a switch. I have been waiting for decades for an arcade perfect translation for home use. The extra modes are an added bonus. There is zero doubt in my mind that I won't be disappointed with this for $8.00. I don't know why people are complaining about the price when I read that the cabinet goes for $2,500.00. I'll buy Punch-Out for sure as well. I'm hoping for DK Jr., DK 3, DK 2 (But I doubt we'll see it), DK, Popeye, Kangaroo, & Mr Do's Castle.

I so wish they would make one for the 3DS with DLC for future cards. I love both of the GBC games, especially the 2nd one that has been translated.

I have to say initially I thought what most people thought about it, why would I want this if I already have a new 3DS XL? Then after doing some research, I found out that the micro SD slot is accessible without having to remove the 2 screws and the back face plate (I have more than 300 downloaded apps/games, so I can swap micro SD cards with ease now). Not too mention the card slot is covered as well. When I play DS games, I notice there's a small spot where debris could enter the cartridge slot. No longer a problem on the new 2DS XL! I love the blue/black color scheme as well, not too mention the weigh reduction & slightly thinner/smaller size. Also nice that Nintendo wised up and included the AC adapter this time around. My only concerns would be the sound quality (due to the speakers being moved to the both of the bottom half of the unit), if I would truly miss having 3D; and if a slimmer new 3DS XL gets released before the end of the system's life cycle. I will continue to look into the new 2DS XL as the end of July rapidly approaches;)

There. $50 for a cart that has been restored. And who cares? All @Damo was trying to do was review a really great game from the past. Your original complain has zero merit. Let it go.

@Rontanamo_Bay & @Miketeevee76: You both are morons, and you both need to get over yourselves. Stop crying about @Damo reviewing a game you can't seem to afford. I paid $75 for a loose cart a few years ago and you don't see me crying about it.

I agree the new "My Nintendo" is a joke, but at least they finally discounted Earthbound on the 3DS. I have nothing else to use my gold coins on, so I took the plunge:)

As somebody said, this game in its physical form is highly likely to rise in value over time. Anybody on the fence needs to grab a copy now if possible.

@RoboBubble: Just grabbed mine on ebay for $33.98 shipped. Only 2 sellers on ebay selling this. The other guy is selling it for $37.97(he sold 4 of them for $33.98, then raised his price). So as somebody else said, if you have any interest in this game whatsoever, just buy it now. Chances are you'll be able to resell it down the road for more than what you paid for it.

Grabbed a physical SMT IV: Apocalypse launch day, the free Sonic 25th theme, and just ordered a physical River City Tokyo Rumble for $33.98 shipped on Ebay. I had a feeling this game would be rare. Too bad I wasn't able to score the awesome key chain though:(

Data East is awesome. Great memories on my Game Boy with Burgertime Deluxe, Lock 'N Chase, Tumblepop, & Nail 'N Scale.

Sold worse that the Virtual Boy? Doubtful.
