Picked up Oxenfree during a PSN sale (came with a dynamic theme which I absolutely love). However, might double dip and get it on sale for my Switch. Still playing Lost Sphear. Jumped back into Xenoblade Chronicles on my N3DSXL (gonna wait on a holiday sale for XC2). But... Been putting the most hours into TERA on PS4. Just came out over a week ago and the community is packed with active players. It's been fun.
@shonenjump86 MH:W is still in the top 25. This site doesn't go as far in depth as other Nintendo sites I follow. And yeah... GTAO... I mean GTA5 like clockwork π€·ββοΈ

Hoping some games come out that catch my eye in the near future.

@Baker1000 EA is selling a game, not a console. It has nothing to do with 'love' or 'care' for the Switch. They're marketing their game to sell and sell a bunch. Henceforth the big push on the big consoles: PS4 & XBO. I would say not to blame EA, but blame Nintendo. It's Nintendo's job to promote what their console can do and/or has. It's EA's job to promote their game.... and that's what they're doing. If you can sell thousands of copies or hundreds (possibly; not assured with Switch), you're gonna go where the money is. I know this a Nintendo site and I'm not bashing Nintendo. However, I think if Nintendo wants to show how good FIFA is on their console, they should gather some form of marketing campaign and collaborate with EA somehow.
On a different note, I just got a Switch not too long ago & will be buying FIFA definitely. FIFA was one of the few games I bought the same day alongside my Vita & was awesome to be able to play some footy anywhere at anytime. β½οΈπ
FIFA was one of the first games I bought for my Vita back in 2012. Seeing how I (finally) procured a Switch, I'll definitely be grabbing this. I've moved more towards PES on consoles for my footy fix. However, till they bring it to Switch, I'll rock with some FIFA.
I'd love to buy one, but it's hardly in stock every time I check. Hopefully they'll boost production around the holiday season so they can be more easily obtained. If not, no worries. I'll continue on with my N3DSXL.
I've learned to be a patient person when it comes to DLC/Expansion packs (most recent examples, for me, would be Witcher 3 & Shadows of Mordor). I can wait till the Game of The Year version of the game releases. I got SoM GOTY version on sale for $10 and W3 GOTY for $15 on sale. Seems I'll be waiting to see if BotW will follow the same route. I can wait.
UE4 support, eh? Frick'n fantastic! The 'remake... reimagining' of Final Fantasy XI (MMO) is supposedly shooting for a release sometime next year. Yes, they're shooting for a mobile release but if the Switch will support UE4... then I'll wish upon a shooting star. I'd be filled with joy if that became one of the supported platforms upon its debut. Google Play & iOS is a definite; I'd be even more happy if Switch and say... PS Vita were also an option (grrrrrr, looking at you PSO2 with no localization; sadπΌ).
It only lasted 4 days on my phone. It was fun. I did like the text to voice recognition when you'd answer questions and the like. But... about the 3rd day I was pretty much done with it and then deleted it.
You know, I just got interested in the series with the news about Marvel Battlegrounds and started doing research on Monday late night. BestBuy had a deal that you get the Capt. America Battlegrounds play set free if you bought a starter edition. I looked at it, watched a couple YouTube videos, and was like "whoa, this doesn't seem that bad, I might bite the bullet on this". After an hour of research and whatnot, I saw on one of the YT vids a comment about them shutting DI down. Talk about the hype train coming to a screeching halt.
I'm currently debating about buying a bunch of the Marvel ones (can get them for 7.99 w/Gamer's Club membership) and just having them sit next to my amiibo in display fashion. I'll flip a coin or something this weekend and go from there.

I'm not totally bad mouthing the app. It was cute and the text to speech playback was really good. Like I said, though, blandness after awhile & size is what did it for me. Kingdom Hearts Unchained 'key', EvilBane: Rise of Ravens, and Tales of Link are the new games I've been playing. All give you reason to continue coming back. I'm quite surprised by ToL. It's quite charming. Another big kudo for ToL is that they included the Japanese VOs with English subs π. I read the KHU is a small form pre story to KH3. I've never played a KH game, but I'm enjoying the characters & such.

So it's on the eShop meaning digital and yet it's only for WiiU? I know what eShop stands for, but why not make it for both platforms? This isn't a new game by any means. Please pardon my "newbie Nintendo mentality" as I'm new to the 3DS family as of Cyber Monday. On the other hand, PSN offers most PS1/PS2 on both PS3 & Vita and you only buy it once/play on both systems. I hope to see that feature incorporated eventually, but I won't hold my breath.
This happened last week or so with A Link to the Past for 150 gold coins, of which I had enough, BUT only for WiiU eShop. My heart sank. Wouldn't it be a spectacle to be able to play ALttP & the new Link between Worlds on the 3DS? Yes!..... But that isn't happening. Any ways, hopefully they'll do that sometime in the foreseeable future. As for MMX, I'd love to purchase & play, but alas it is not for my 3DS nor me.
