Gamescom is statistically the biggest gaming expo in the world, attracting enormous crowds and stuffing itself into many, many halls. There'll be plenty for attendees to do next weekend, and now 3DS fans have an extra stop for their itinerary.
Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy Explorers will be playable at the event; it was only a recent development that it was confirmed for a Western release in early 2016.
Are you planning to track this one down for an early look at the Cologne event? Let us know.

First
But this is cool, nice to know that people going will be enjoying it even more.
Man wish I could go. Really looking forward to this game.
Excited for it. I like Final Fantasy, not a huge fan, but enough to get this. Monster Hunter just doesnt do it for me.
For some reason I am more interested in this game than Final Fantasy XV and the Final Fantasy VII remake.
This better mean they plan on releasing it earlier. It's been enough time that's gone by since it was released in Japan.
I hope we get a preview of this on here next weekend
I lost interest in this game when I found out it doesn't support stereoscopic 3D
Loved it on my Japanese N3DS
No 3D? Oh bummer! I will still get it. I'm a huge Phantasy Star Online Fan and understand this plays alot like that. It's a bummer no 3D
@accc Really, no 3D. I actually love 3D :/
@Aurumonado my only curiosity lies within how the multiplayer aspect is handled. Is it only local MP, or is there a way to invite friends (online) to play in a party?
@KCMOTO it has online and local play. There is a Multiplayer video at YouTube. I think it looks great and reminds me alot of Phantasy Star Online. I don't think it's much like Monster hunter which is fine with me. I'd rather play a PSO type online game.
@KCMOTO here you go. Here is the Multiplayer video. I don't know how to post them here but here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPiyqkHBEwM
@Windy Hey thanks for the informative reply and video. I appreciate it. I'll check out that video. Speaking of PSO, I was heartbroken when SEGA said they weren't bringing PSO2 to the PS Vita. I thought that would have been awesome, but it's in the past. I've never really jumped into MH, however, some friends and myself that play FFXIV together have been following FF:E since it's showing. Now that we have a release date for Jan, we're excited to do some raiding on a different platform. Thanks again, Windy.
