@Dark-Link73 It's not a hypothesis, it's a full blown experiment. But yeah it definitely encourages exercise.

An experiment like this would be laughable in the scientific community. It's based on assumptions/generalizations and they don't even know who they're testing.

BUT, I think it doesn't take a scientist to realize that yeah, walking a lot will make you healthier.

@MitchVogel Something else that I really enjoyed besides what the two of us mentioned is the unique health system in combat. Well, at least unique when it came out (I'm not sure if it has been replicated since.)

There's something really satisfying when your health meter is spinning down and then you rush to finish the turn so you can reverse it and heal up.

Other small touches like that make gameplay so satisfying. Like the teleportation feature where Ness gains speed before zooming off to a new place... there are so many fun little features in addition to the two that I already mentioned.

All those fun features combine with everything that makes an RPG good, an enjoyable plot, and quirky and fun characters/situations. This culmination is the beautiful game that is Earthbound.

@MitchVogel You're in the minority if you think Earthbound is just "alright." Earthbound is a magnificent RPG with immense charm and enjoyability.

It's natural that any sequel to a game so good would be highly sought after.

@JaxonH I doubt this is what you entirely meant, but many people scrutinize every aspect of a console before buying it to ensure they're getting exactly what they're paying for.

I don't have a lot of money and the reason why I would scrutinize the Switch so much is that I want to be confident that I'm making a wise investment. I don't want to buy one and have any doubts/regrets about doing so.

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy I could've written it as a 14 year old. There is essentially no substance to it- it's just a collection of clichés. I'm exaggerating slightly but the point gets across. The formatting is weird as hell and there are many grammatical errors, things as simple as subject-verb agreement. It's extremely hard to read/follow for these reasons.

As a side note, the barely-existent plot doesn't have anything to do with a boy and his dog.

It's a self-published book that, judging from the description, the sample of the book I read, and the reviews that weren't clearly written by Nico's mom, is absolutely horrible.

@AlexSora89 Pretty harmless. The worst that could be done is some kid was reeled into thinking that he was saving $32-40, but you would honestly have to be really gullible to think a "rich and bored" anonymous user on the internet would spend thousands of dollars for no reason.

@jsty3105 I think it's kind of funny when people get angry so easily. It's just some stupid person on the internet; no need to get so touchy. People get "triggered" over the dumbest things.
