Sounds like it the same as Bioshock collection. Which is good at least due to this.

You insert the cartridge and the missing titles just download. No entering codes (like borderlands collection) I can share the physical cart of Bioshock with my wife and she'll be able to download and play the games. As long as cart is inserted.

Makes.me wish I never lost my complete save file for botw. I wonder if I can go back and beat it will it show up in my current TotK playthrough or will I have to start TotK over.

@Norwegianguy my wife and I take our switches to work and play during our lunch. If TotK is set up like botw (being able to play short bursts and still progress) then we'll be able to beat it. This weekend I'm going to watch the kids so she can sit and play the game more. We will see how much playing she actually gets done. Lol.

Got this game up and running on the Steam Deck. Gonna jump into it once I beat XC3 if I can stop being distracted with tinkering on the deck lol.

Base game was ok. Dlc was pretty nice. Glad it was included in the expansion pass. If they ever do more dlc for it which I doubt then I will only play it if the dlc is included in the expansion pass

River City Underground.... I would so love for that game to be revived and come to the switch and other consoles.

@Serpenterror yes contra and super c had platforming but the gameplay was still fast and consistent. I find the whole hanging on things just slowed the game down. That's just for me. I still love all the contra games. (Well some of them suck lol)

This was exciting and then Rare announced the remaster version is coming to Xbox gamepass....

I feel the NES contra games are top tier. 3 was nice but when I think run and gun I don't think hanging from stuff and not being able to shoot while moving. Climbing and hanging from things ruined the flow of the run and gun imo.

Nah.. I'll leave them in standby or rest mode.

The TV on the other hand I don't have in rest mode because if it doesn't get turned off it slows down horribly and freezes up. Hate smart tvs.

They should grab that fan based game TMNT Rescue Palooza and make that an official release with some clean up and improvements.

I don't mind these straight copies of Nintendo games. Like how many times have we seen fan made Nintendo games be shown and in the comments people be like "why don't you just reskin it and sell it, people would buy it".

the dlc isnt free. you get a free item if you get the dlc by the end of july

I liked Snow Bros back on the NES and this looks to be a greater ay to revisit that game. So I'm looking forward to getting this. More so on sale cause that's how I buy my games these days. Backlog is big

Thing is a good tv already has image upscaler tech in it. I had a Samsung OLED curved tv and man did BotW look amazing on that with the TV's built in upscaler. Also my monitor does it as well.

1tb has been sitting at 139 for a while tho.

Like many others I don't think we will see a switch version. Game is a resource hog. Very demanding game. Not even phones close to the specs of the switch can handle it and even phone more powerful struggle at times too

@ModdedInkling it's very surprising it hasn't come to the Switch. Game runs well on a lot of different hardware. Controls very well with a controller and would fit very well on the switch.

There are some excellent mods that add to the game in a great way. He could make those official for the console and mobile versions. Or add official support for mods on console versions. Like community add ons or something.

The remastered version would be dope. Been aging that on my PC thru the Xbox emulator. Pretty fun switching back and forth between classic and new(ish) graphics. Played well with a Xbox controller too

So glad I decided to hold off. Thanks to gamepass and psnow I can play 3 and San Andreas. Will wait to play vice city. Hopefully switch version gets fixed cause I really want the trilogy there.

I typically wait and get the dlc packs when they go on sale and they sometimes do. Heck the base game goes on sale for 10 dollars US like all the time.

Nice to see this game getting more support. I'm fine waiting for xenoverse 3 if it ever comes. This game has load of content. I still need to do the hero coliseum

@valcoholic believe there is a demo on Steam. Also game came out physical only on Vita. So you can see gameplay online.

This looks more inline with Metal Gear on the MSX and Metal Gear Solid on GBC.

I've been hearing good things about the game.

So down for this. Love Metal Gear Solid on GBC. This looks even better. Hope it plays just as well as it shows!

It can be done. We have official Nintendo games running in official emulation from GameCube and Wii now on the Switch. 3D Mario All Stars. Even if not a native port they can easily do the games Thur emulation and use the joycons for the aiming in Metroid 3

I mean, come on, it's a GBC game and the first in this wonderful series. Judging it by today's standards isn't really fair to this game.

It's a faithful port with some neat extras and for the first time we have all Shantae games on console.

Got it on both ps5 and Switch. Fun to go back and forth between the two versions. Beat the game on ps5 and ported my save over to switch for a second playthrough on there. Tho not in a hurry to do a second playthrough lol. Got other games to get to. Plus that dlc too

Double dipping on this game. Pre ordered a game boy color cart from LRG and I'll get it on the switch as well. Love the series
