I love Rocket League but the acquisition worries me.

@Kalmaro Rocket league is very rewarding once you get good. It took me about a year to get good enough to crack gold ranking but now I'm a very confident player. Once you get you air game down it turns into a different game.

@90sRetroGaming I'm with you on that one. That is something a vast majority of players want. A lot if us first played Tetris on gameboy clearly a lot of people want it. To lock it behind a tournament wall is a little off base

I really want that Gameboy theme. Also I dont really get complaining about the $10 they could've easily charged $20 for Tetris99 when it launched

Irrelevant site, irrelevant arguments, wont change some of the greatest programmers from making great games. Some of my favorite pokemon games are ROM hacks, some of the best Mario games are fan made. Straight up piracy is wrong but shutting down huge undertakings that Nintendo never would have attempted to make is worse.

Donkey Kong 3 was dog poop. Hopefully they never try to pad the library with a game no one cares about....oh

@k8sMum probably not if you dont have the TV running with it on all night but I tend to take it out when I go to bed just in case. I had fan noise issues in the past (which Nintendo generously fixed for free even though my warranty was over) so I'm trying to be extra careful

It's been an expensive week for me. I picked up gear club 2 because it was on sale and I'll say it's not bad. For 60 it's not worth it but for 30 I'd say its worthwhile. I was on the fence about buying Cuphead right now but I decided to go for it after the Joker update fiasco. I thought it would be available at midnight.

The Gameboy version of Donkey Kong was excellent. Probably the best iteration of classic Donkey Kong.

Pokemon Blue is probably the most impactful game to me personally. I dont know if there is another game that literally changed my life. I'm surprised to not see that much Pokemon love in this comment section.

I'm excited to try to finally beat Punch-Out. Also Lost Levels is my favorite 2D Mario so this is actually super appealing to me.

I wear large framed glasses and i think the Virtual Boy is solely responsible for that so VR isnt really appealing to me

@Stocksy the dock setup is very conducive to overheating. So I would say that ongoing narrative is correct. I will say I haven't had a single issue since my repair. No joycon drifting no loud fan noises.i did get a dock extender because of the afformentioned overheating issie.

Well that still sucks if they didnt have any other controllers. I had to send my switch in for a repair and I was very happy with my experience. I actually was past my warranty but they fixed it anyways so that was awesome. I only sent the left joycon with it and I receiver both the switch and the joycon together

If you were born in the 2000s this game is gonna be entirely unplayable for you. It was good in it's time though and definitely changed how FPS' are made.
