Every video game should release an OST. Nintendo would make even more serious coins off me if they did that. Or used them as Club Nintendo awards. 5 or 10 coins a song.
A 3D feature would've been so cool but understandably niche. However thinking people would look funny isn't an excuse to go with. Everyone looks funny no matter what they're doing with 3D glasses on.
@erv If Nintendo's marketing were any good you would have known the date by now. Even I am blindsided of the release dates cause I don't hear or see about them other than here or if they have the courtesy of a commercial than it is the day of the release.
During big sporting events with massive audiences like the World Series and the NBA's opening night I saw like a hundred commercials on the PS4 and Xbox One along with games for them/PS3/360 with only a couple multiplatform that are on Wii U and 3DS. Nothing for Wii U. How can Nintendo convey a message when they have not even tried to even get one out there? Are we the Nintendo fans supposed to do it for them? Sorry but I don't see a paycheck from you Nintendo.
Yeah Miiverse would make Swapnote moot. It's not like I used Swapnote for much anyways. Now as far as their regulation of Miiverse I believe having a separate Miiverse that only adults could access would help. That doesn't mean it will be a haven of debauchery (Xbox Live can keep that distinction) but that adults can engage in adult conversations in a mature and polite manner. Or people can be responsible parents and use the parental controls like adults.
It would be great if this was the game that Nintendo starts the unified accounts with. I have it for Wii VC and it would be amazing to pay the upgrade cost and have it playable on my 3DS and Wii U.
"it makes no sense to not include ice hockey or even high score events such as ski jumping, and with a limited selection this is ultimately an underwhelming inclusion." So much this! Seriously bragging rights in hockey is what props the Winter Olympics in real life. It's the best event, Vancouver 2010 had surprisingly deep controls including the ability to dump and chase the puck, and would have been a purchase for me had they included it for online play.
@Trainer_DJ You're right. On NBA opening night the games were bombarded with One and PS4 ads at almost every break. I'm pretty sure the Wii I did nothing like that last year and hasn't done it this year.
My sister and I will be going through this. I know that I am a better player than her so we usually have a team mentality so the crown will not affect us. It's basically survive to the finish line whoever gets there alive.
I would rather Nintendo solve the unified account. I'd even take a pause of the VC service so that they could solve it and then restart it afterward. Or to update the Wii U menu to merge with the Wii menu.
Just beat M&L Dream Team. The backlog is calling so I'm in limbo once more and I usually knockout more puzzles in Crosswords DS while I decide on what game I'll tackle next. Professor Layton maybe but Fire Emblem is also hanging there too.
The only DLC I'd accept for Pokemon is added story lines beyond the games original. Basically episodic content that isn't hidden away inside the actual game and needs to be "unlocked" by paying.
I wouldn't mind the scenario of a console Zelda title (not counting remastering or VC) that had a handheld title thrown in the midway point between console titles.
I'll still get this at some point. Maybe SEGA ought to go back to the Colors/Generations style and master it before pushing the Hedgehog in other directions again. We don't want a string of bad that 2006 started to pop up again.
Sonic 3 & Knuckles is one of the best games I have ever played. It's the pinnacle of 2D Sonic games with the right amount of characters and the amount of content. Sonic Colors was the 1st 3D Sonic game in a while that had me think he was on his way back to his old glory.
Sonic Colors was absolutely excellent & Generations a better anniversary game than what Nintendo could muster up for Mario or Capcom for Mega Man. As for the handheld version Dimps was responsible for every 2D Sonic game on GBA, DS & now 3DS. They know what they're doing.
Should have just gone exclusive like Sonic is right now with Lost Worlds. Rayman would have sold more earlier & it's style is much inline with what Nintendo gamers traditionally like. That's what SEGA has come to find out with Sonic.
Store staff tend to be pretty dumb especially in a general department store. The Gamepad so far hasn't shown why it's so special beyond HUDs, mini games, maps, and inventory. I'm interested to see how Zelda handles it and whether they'll already abandon Skyward Sword's fun motion sword controls just to go back to buttons and an inventory/map/HUD with some Gamepad arrow shooting or whatever sprinkled in.
Poured an hour into the demo. Really enjoyed it. Sometimes mindless fun even if it's repetitive is ok now and again. It's like watching some dumb comedy movies that you know isn't Oscar worthy but is still getting you to sit and watch with enjoyment. That's the feeling I get from this game.
Usually with a game I'm anticipating I try to avoid some info depending on the game. Just put a release date and I'll wait for demos or early impressions or reviews to see if I should dive in or not.
I'd rather take that effort and integrate Wii and GameCube games to the Wii U VC. Not to mention the whole unified account and crossplay features for 3DS and Wii U.
Online play actually means little for me for a lot of games now as I'm more into single player or local co-op. I think there are games conducive to it, some that shoehorn them in but didn't need to and those that just need simple leaderboards and/or tournament challenges.
Really hope they have nunchuk and classic controller support. Don't want to be going through this multiplayer NES style. Metroid Other M officially proved you need analog for intense 3d games.
Wish I lived in a close knit large city or my area became one. Or setting up Nintendo Zone hotspots in bus/sub/train stations and airports would be cool.

Waiting on Baseball and the eventual addition of the Resort activities
Re: Nintendo "Would Like to Enrich" Its Virtual Console Lineup
GameCube & GBA would be awesome. The last systems an F-Zero game was released for.
Re: Mamma Mia! The Mario & Luigi Wii U Bundle Is Sold Out At Target And GameStop
Nintendo you must follow the simple formula. Launch all new systems with a Mario game.
Re: EA: Being Voted The Worst Company In America Was "A Wake Up Call"
Wonder if people will finally catch on to their practice of packaging yearly roster updates and selling them full price.

I wouldn't mind it being like Mario Galaxy in which 2 of the games were released withing a couple of years of each other.

Just switch it with Miiverse or integrate the features swapnote had to Miiverse. Swapnote was underutilized.

Nunchuk support!!!!

I bought Urban Champion only once for the e-Reader. I learned my lesson after that. If only NintendoLife had existed then.
Re: Mario & Sonic At Sochi 2014 Winter Games Confirmed For November 8th Release In Europe
If they just had online multiplayer for hockey I would have gotten this.
Re: Here Are More Gorgeous Super Mario 3D World Screens to Enjoy
60 fps and nunchuk support I hope. Do not want to play this game with Wii Remote on side after Other M botched the idea.

Nothing worth spending my coins on and the backlog is held up with some big games. So many games to beat, so little time!
Re: Guide: How To Capture Video And Screenshots From Your 3DS
At this point I want screenshot support for all video gamea. Smash Bros. Brawl really spoiled me. Now if the Wii U could just give us HD screens.

That one with Sonic, Mario & Mega Man would blow minds if I had a time machine to go back to the 90s.

Nintendo if you're going to do this late at least do it better than everyone else.

Why couldn't they have had hockey?! I'd even pay extra for it as DLC.
