Re: Feature: So, Who Will Be The Final Fighter In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?

Edwirichuu

@GrailUK I think it’s best we let the devs rest, they’ve already probably gotten tons of sleepless nights, and all good things must come to and end, this isn’t a thing about the switch’s lifespan, it’s about smash, how much is too much? It came out on 2018 and I’m pretty satisfied, it would be amazing to get more, but this might just be sad end…for now at least

Re: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Pokétch - Confirmed Apps, New Apps, Everything We Know So Far

@Browny Sun and Moon?! That was my favorite era to be honest, but i can completely understand why you would not like it, people say ever since it the mainline games entered 3D it all kind of went down, kind of like with Sonic! But, i feel like there is a lot of fun within the new games, not Sword and Shield, but i know at least Sun and Moon had a ton of effort poured into them, i don't know how to feel about these remakes, on one side its amazing, and im happy for the original fans, but to me at least, it looks very ugly, like really lazy, but its pretty nonetheless, unlike the N64 SW/SH trees

@blindsquarel I'm starting to think it's ironic, but there are so many people making such a fuss about this game, i guess its because of the meme and the liscenced characters, i've played games from the same developer before, it's mostly bargain bin shovelware, the trailers for this game show really stiff and unsatisfying gameplay, so this does not seem like a GOTY or anything, but it'll be nice for the kids or the adults i guess...(but not really), still, i guess its kinda neat to see some of the Characters we've grown up with to fight against each other? But again, we already have smash for that

Re: The First Switch OLED Comparison Video Has Surfaced

Edwirichuu

@nocdaes I really respect your view on it, i've had my system since 2017 almost at launch and the battery isn't as great anymore, still pretty good tho, so, if mine were to break or i could not handle the battery time any longer, i personally would most definitely spend the few extra dollars for the upgraded OLED model. (or simply the switch v2 from 2019)

Re: The First Switch OLED Comparison Video Has Surfaced

@BloodNinja My personal opinion is, this is great for those who don't have a switch yet, it would seem worth it if i did not have one already, it has some neat little improvements, but for us who already have a switch, there's not enough reason to upgrade, i bet there won't even be exclusive games, this is very different from the 3DS revisions, those really gave you a reason to upgrade, this is just a missed opportunity, but honestly, could've been worse

Re: The First Review For Mario Golf: Super Rush Is Now In

Edwirichuu

I need to apologize to everyone for thinking this game was gonna be lame, i never got the gist of golf on any game, or irl, and the only mario golf game i have was played mario golf on 3ds, this genuinely looks like a really fun game that may really get me hooked, even sorta got me interested in real golf, i still prefere Mario Tennis Aces a bit but this just looks like a real treat I'll have to pick up, the story might not be the best, but it looks fun as well

Re: It Seems Game Builder Garage Will Be Digital-Only In Europe

Edwirichuu

@Scapetti Not just collectors, everyone, physical is convinient as well, is cheaper, and although you do run the risk of stuff breaking, you do have the bonus of owning the actual thing instead of a crappy license, as well as not having to worry about storage, data corruption, and digital storefront problems, almost no one outside of select countries is ready for cloud gaming because of internet speeds and server issues, it isn't a digital era, most people still buy physical for games and that will still remain on for a while, movies and music took the digital route because that is truly convenient, but games are an entirely different medium, with different limitations and consumers, it is more convenient to have your games on a lame storage card on your Xbox, but that's just lame, many buy the games overpriced on the digital shops, but physical is still a majority, for collecting and price reasons, if you'd look at the comments many even would refuse to get the game if it isn't physical, again it's much better to own the damn thing in person rather than a crappy license that could be taken away from you in any second, both have their ups and downs, but just thinking it is "the way of the future" and how excited you are for it is sortof thoughtless, each will take their own path, but for now at least and for quite some more time, people are mostly choosing physical, cloud gaming is looking great but right now you're making it seem like it's just a thing Xbox fanboys will idolize just because they get gamepass at 10 dollars a month

Edwirichuu

@Scapetti I know im late, but listen, I'm not gonna throw you hate..but geez, you ask why you're getting long articles written on you when you just gave many thoughtless comments, i respect your opinion quite a lot, even if i may not agree entirely, but really, you should have chosen a better way to phrase your words, physical media is at its best, you can't just say something is "dying", again, i respect, but just think about that

Re: Former Metroid Prime Lead Designer Targeted With Abusive Messages

@LunarLunatone Many people are very passionate when it comes to the games and franchises they like, obviously some fandoms are worse than others and it's inexcusable, while most of the Metroid fanbase is quite polite, it's clear you can't control the psychos out there, for many its more than a game, but i find it stupid that they would actually get angry over such a small comment
