@Antraxx777 Even Samus' looks, the suit lost that chromed awesome look it had on Prime, where that was clearly put to make it seem the suit was metal. Even her face in Prime looks 10 times better than on Corruption, where it looks more cartoonish than realistic.

@Banjo- The Wii was two GameCubes put together, literally. Retro focused on making Corruption be bigger. Other M, in contrast, looks like a game proper for a new system, the graphics and art style on it makes the game shine.

Finally, Perfect Dark returns to Nintendo, but you put an old review?? C'mon man, don't be lazy. Anyways, the game is still as good as it was, 24 years ago. Spent countless afternoons and evenings, with my brothers and cousins playing multiplayer with simulators back in the day, and now, we can do it online, which, honestly, always works well for me (get new routers, dudes). The game has now better framerate than it had before, and I have not experienced some "gamebreaking" bugs, it still plays as well as it did on the N64. Now, which one is better? Goldeneye on the solo campaign, but just because it's Bond, but Perfect Dark takes the cake with the multiplayer. Oh, the madness when is just punching and poisoned knifes. Or, just sedatives. Also, since when taking a console to its limits, is a negative point?

Of course the game was running on Switch. Those dudes at Digital Foundry sure make a living for free.

@Ooccoo_Jr Metroid Prime was the last graphical jump that actually had me in disbelief, but, graphics in the Prime series went down from there. Corruption looked the worst. I remember thinking "this doesn't look better than Prime". What I like about the few minutes of gameplay we got for Prime 4, is that they took the aesthetic of Other M, and added to Prime, which makes the game look very good.

I hope we get now some of the Mortal Kombat games that appeared on the system, and Resident Evil 2!

This was a genuinly awesome surprise! I LOVE that Lite model, might pick it up for my daughter!

@Vil Nintendo would never do ray tracing or 4K, would make the console more expensive for no reason. Metroid is not a console seller, and, if they want to bring an impact with their next platform, whatever it'll be called, they need to differenciate its software from the Switch as much as possible.

YES! I love the looks of it. Graphically speaking, with the revamped model of Samus as well, it reminderd me of the art direction and graphics of Other M. Switch only folks! Maybe for February or March 2025?

@Ulysses a new IP? Could be, but, remember that, Sakurai is an independent worker. I don't think he'd relinquish a new IP to Nintendo, they'd like to own it for themselves. I think Sakurai, if he created a new IP, he'd like to own it and manage it as he sees fit. And besides, it'd be too much of a hassle for him, since he is a one man company, and prefers to work that way. He wants to continue working on Smash, the way he's doing it, so, everything should be fine.

He mentioned that he was going to go into full production for his next project, hence why he was going to stop with this project. Smash Bros for Switch NG? Most likely.

I'm happy with the overall performance of the games, they play well.

I played during the early hours of the day, and it's very addictive and fun to play. Very easy and quick matches, you unlock things fast, and all the characters are well balanced, although, the character list is full of "inclusion", if you know what I mean. Neverless, this is a fun game to play, I think if you like Splatoon quick matchmaking, this is the game for you!

@dartmonkey It owns a big share of your parent company, and that "family" of companies, include Digital Foundry, and your other sister sites, like Time Extension. So, they do own you.

And, Nintendo is better off without that guy showcasing his ugly face and awful show near them. Keighley has always thrown crap at Nintendo, only Reggie put up with this guy's mediocrity, and that was a bad decision from Reggie's side.

It was terrible. Keighley is insufferable, and the overall announcements were lackluster, no big surprises whatsoever. The state of the game industry right now, is terrible, thanks to that overblown production model, that most big third party publishers have now. Thank God Nintendo has separated itself from the rest.

Jeez, that Keighley guy is truly insuferable, no wonder why Nintendo skips his glorified ***** show.

@Not_Soos nah, that E3 presentation was dope! And, Daemon X Machina looked like a cool game. If it ended up being the opposite of that, well, that's not the fault of the E3 presentation hahahah.

I honestly think they should have included Injustice Superman here, not Homelander. And it seems that, on the budget given for the DLC characters, they didn't have enough for Anthony Starr's voice, only his likeness.

Going to wait for the bootleg version!

@larryisaman EA Sports FC 24 already has Volta, which is basically FIFA Street, it was what I played the most on that game, when it was available as a free trial for NSO users.

@Ooyah EA chose to not renew the license with FIFA. They claimed it was because FIFA was "limiting" the development of the games, supposedly putting barriers on what EA wanted to do with the franchise.

Still 50/50! Never played the game, but the cover with the fairy always seemed very cool.

Maybe this is what Panic Button has been working on. Let's wait and see, Doom Eternal looks and plays FANTASTIC on the Switch. But yeah, IGN now owns part of Nintendo Life, that's a very monopolistic action.

Activision most likely has CoD working on Switch for a good number of years now, I'm calling that it's coming this year to Switch, whether it is this particular entry or not. I'd buy it.

@Krull yes, and MK1 has catched up, and, it's solid 60FPS on gameplay, it's an amazing achievement. I want Resident Evil 4 Remake on Super Switch (we need that name to stick, until the reveal of the official name, at least heheh)

Mortal Kombat 1 now runs extremely well on Switch, I play it from time to time, and it's amazing the amount of work put into the game. Shiver will most likely serve as primary support for third party developers, to not have a hard time developing games for both the Switch and its successor.

How many great memories I have with this game?Playing it all night long, one year ago, I stayed up until 5AM. Failing funnily enough on my first "vehicles" production, going down to the Depths for the first time, that gave me chills down my spine. The same with picking up the Master Sword from dragon Zelda's head, that was epic as hell. When I found my first Phantom Ganon on the Castle prison, that was a "son of a b*tch, you're still alive!" thing, it was AWESOME and TERRIFYING. Then, witnessing the final Tear memory, that put a literal tear to my eye, and the final boss battle, the moment Ganondorf transformed and his life bar exceeded the limits of the screen, and the music from the OoT Ganondorf battle kicked in, I felt like I was 8 years old again, no other time has this happened in my life. My favorite moment thou, was when I helped the Tarry Town mayor's daughter with her departure to the Gerudo land, I cried then, picturing doing the same thing with my own daughter, some day. My favorite Zelda game, that's what Tears of the Kingdom is to me now.

Furukawa is totally right, the Switch will still be selling well, after the release of the Switch NG. I think this is another signal that will confirm that, the next console will not be backwards compatible, and that's totally fine!

Pretty pleaaase! I want to play this game so badly. Make it happen, Bandai-Namco!

@Serpenterror the best selling consoles were never the most powerful consoles, and Nintendo knows this. The Switch is proof of it.

The reveal of the console is just going to be a trailer, like it was with the Switch, and then we'll get an event with more details, like it happened with the Switch. With that being said, the Direct has my curiosity, they're going to showcase something special for that one, and Nintendo will dominate another holiday season with the Switch.

By this time, next year, the Switch will already be the best selling console of all time. Even if Sony puts makeup on those PS2 numbers hahahaha, we all know the official number is 155 million, Switch will take that crown.

Good thing I started saving up for the Switch NG! I've said this since 2020: announcement and reveal of the new console in late 2024, release in early 2025. But, they could just announce it on 2025 hehehe. I love Nintendo, and how they make surprise announcements for their products now. The Direct in June will be something special, mark my words!

@LikelySatan bro, they're on the not-making money business. I stopped watching and caring a looong time ago about Star Wars, I just laugh about it now, how they keep screwing things up.

Mario Paint was waaay ahead of its time, later on, kids would fool around with Paint, and it's a tool that I still use to this day, for work!
