So gunvolt's fairing better than 9, if only they added 1 more point to gameplay or plot. From I've seen, the boss designs definitely seem distinct from the previous installments. What's more, whenever I get the game, I'm gonna enjoy playing Copen
@Ogbert Weird ideas, I'm full of 'em, case in point, man bear riding a motorcycle towards a pack of flaming lions. Yes it came off the top of my head, no I didn't take anything.
@Lucina Amen, One who flew over the cuckoo's nest, that was controversy. Compare these controversies to that, and you have the equivalent of little Jonny screaming over a tiny scrape over the guy who just received a broken wrist.
@Ogbert Now that you mention it, there hasn't been many fruit and veg based pokemon (although potato technically aren't a veg as far as I know). Delving further into the design, how about we give it multiple eyes, something you'd see in a Lovecraft home cook book. On another note, while everyone's thinking of crabrawler as Mr Krabs, I'm imagining him to sound more like a drunk cowardly lion.
@Krisi I wanted to say that, but I didn't want to offend anyone who might support it. Though in hindsight, with the stuff they've made accusations about...sure why not
@AlexSora89 Funny enough I have heard O'Brien's voice, my brother played the original. I don't know why but I felt like they sounded like a variation of Captain Hook.
@GrailUK I think Crash suffers the same problem as Sonic, albeit much less extreme, in that both are a product of their times. Though the main difference is that the creators of Crash knew when to stop, unlike Sega's Sonic factory.
@happylittlepigs "How about Iwata? I'd say he's the best Nintendo boss", heartwarming pun there. If memory serves me right he did get a minifigure version of himself from Lego.
Question: What other nintendo boss would you want "immortalised" in lego? For me it would probably be N from Pokemon Black or maybe a boss from Xenoblade.
@Trinexx I can agree to that. Guzma definitely has ALOT more personality to him than mister "one tear" Lysandre. Let's just hope they get a good plot, or at the very least some memorable characters.
From this video I can say two things.
1. That fungus pokemon is a step in the right direction for me
Had my doubts about the villainous team (thank you very much team flare), but seeing them partially in action, I'm daring to dream that they'll be good. Who's with me?
@Jayvir I can understand why he might feel that way, we've had a major income of pokemon reveals. In a nutshell, it's like getting the stocking fillers after the christmas. Though in my opinion it's design is endearing.
I'll admit the skull logo is cool, but I just hope they have the "personality" to match; maybe more cartoony and entertaining rather than "Dark and deep" team flare, about as 3-dimensional as a shadow.
@Fbigabig "#predictable", in a 20 year old nutshell.
@TotalEclipse1WA Firstly, hilariously terrifying gif there my friend Second, I haven't seen any spoilers or leaks, but maybe it might have something to do with the location of it's evolution.
@SpykeKat Aye, though I've always been a Gen V man meself. Zoroark had always been my fave, though I do have a soft spot for Flygon and Lucario as well.
@Frank90 Amen to that. I certainly hope they at the very least Nintendo steps away from the "usual excuse plot". Wonder how Zygarde will fit into this, connection to Solgaleo and Lunaala perhaps?
@Gorlokk I certainly hope the Gen Vs get some more love; Zoroark getting an upgrade, maybe it could learn transform. Then again that could be wishful thinking.
When I look at Litten, I'm strangely reminded of destroyman from no more heroes, especially with that fire attack. Nevertheless, while I do dread the revelation of fire/fighting, I like the designs nonetheless.
@Xaessya My guess is that this "poke ride" mechanic will partially/fully replace HMs. I'm digging the whole Alola form, reinvigorating old favourites (like mega evolution). What's more is that it makes sense.
From the looks of it Nintendo is taking inspiration from the orange arc. On a minor note, the orioco seems to support this theory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaiL8Z-dSek

Re: Video: Take an Extended Look at Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 in Localised Showcase
@CrazedCavalier Aye, the OVA seemed a tad generic.
Re: Video: Take an Extended Look at Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 in Localised Showcase
@CrazedCavalier At least they didn't say something along the lines of "anime fan at prom"
Re: Video: Take an Extended Look at Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 in Localised Showcase
More and more I'm getting sold on this
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th August (Europe)
@Kolzig I'm guessing the retro hero dlc is there as a peace offering to all the players who bought it. Not that they'll be buying it.
Re: Mario Makes an Appearance in the Rio Olympics Closing Ceremony
@riChchestM Maybe this'll make you feel better
Re: Japan Weekly: Famitsu Reveals the Ultra-Kawaii Puyo Puyo Chronicle
@nhSnork Glad I could do that

@nhSnork If you want to persuade anyone to play bioshock, show them this.

Re: Video: Earthlock: Festival Of Magic Still Coming To Wii U, Looks Prettier Than Ever
It's definitely a unique design, I'll give it that. Then again, most kickstarter games do, barring a few hiccups this year.

Re: We Almost Got A Pokémon And Fire Emblem Crossover Game
@faint @jasonmd, I believe he's referring to the fact a good amount of hype people had; for some the game didn't live up to expectation.
Re: Four New Pokémon Revealed For Pokémon Sun And Moon
@Dizzard So Pokemon hasn't just rebooted the craze, but now they've restarted the Jaws scare.

@Undead_terror How 'bout the lavalamp, paperweight and the potato, whom I will, if ever the day arises, Stu-pud jr, that or Spud sr.
Re: Four New Pokémon Revealed For Pokémon Sun And Moon
@Trinexx I think it was questioned back in Gen V, Bianca's dad would not let up. Moreover I'm fairly certain Plasma was just evil PETA.
Re: New Pokémon Revealed in Gamescom Sun and Moon Presentation
Is anyone else getting a kaiju vibe off the design?

@AlexSora89 My memories of Crash are a tad hazy as well.
Re: Crash, Cortex And Thumpin' Wumpa Islands Are All Headed To Wii U In Skylanders Imaginators
@RainbowGazelle I believe it's due to the aging population of Japan, with no youth to replace the elderly, no new ideas can give rise.

@AlexSora89 My serendipity mind strikes again mwahahaha!

It could still be in the child timeline, if the new great deku tree grew in that timeline as well.
