I think this is kind of a silly decision, but an expected one from Nintendo. I usually don't want reaction videos just because I don't want to hear somebody interrupting the video when I'm actually reacting myself. But I get the appeal of Internet personalities in general.

I don't get what newsworthy difference it makes, but enjoy the traffic, which is evidence of clickbait, not a momentous occasion. It's already on at least three different platforms, but touting it as exclusivity of any kind and justifying it by tacking "console" on the end is unimportant. The headliner clearly implies it was a Nintendo Switch exclusive, but when you read further, you find it was already out for a long time on other platforms. This is like those "new game date" headliners and it's nothing but speculation when no date has been announced. It's not news, it's bait.

I've never been one for popular opinions, but I'm old-school and grew up with Super Mario Bros for the old NES. The closest thing to this in 3D form is the 3D Land/World games and is therefore in my top spots. Sure I'm super nostalgic for Mario 64 and know both versions like the back of my hand, but if I'm being totally honest, Mario has evolved far beyond that and even took lessons from what made the originals so great.

Guys, I'm gonna put off this update for a few days. Because I live my life dangerously.

Not that Nintendo reads our comments, but my joycon that had drift a couple months in got "fixed", my new ones sent back all got drift again after all four including the console got sent off. Now, I have two D-pad joycon and neither of those have drift on the sticks and those have been kicking for well over a year. How is it that officially licensed third party attachments like the L joycon-esque D-pad unit that is far less expensive has better control stick life? All my friends get this as well, so I can't be the only unlucky one and Nintendo needs to fix the design instead of shrugging it off. I love console quality gaming on the go with Nintendo exclusives in the mix, but I have alternatives I can purchase multiplatform software on instead of Nintendo.

@Highlar The devs are fantastic, you can chat with them in-game and they're always updating the game with new content. I feel I should update my status in that regard as well, they have more than earned it.

Contrary to popular belief, you don't actually hit those pay to win walls in this game. You just have to change up your strategy with which troops you wanna try since you can combine their unique abilities to benefit eachother (or hinder if you don't have varied types) and there's little more satisfying in these games than when you overcome a challenge based on how well you built your team.
