Re: PlatinumGames Gradually Tells All About The Wonderful 101

We still have Wonder-Blue, Wonder-Green and Wonder-Pink coming at least, so I really hope to see those entries on this website. It really isn't comfortable to talk about a game with other people on the forums when for some reasons we don't share the same data even before the game is released.

Now though, I really need to rant about this, and Kamiya himself was ranting about this. We all know that after Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101 is the next first-party AAA title to come out on Wii U. How come next to no websites are following the reveals PlatinumGames are making into their blog as we're getting closer to launch?? We're at episode 4 now, come on!! How come only ONE website as gotten its hand on Wonder-Red's character clip??

News on the Wii U compared to other platforms are near abysmal, so why aren't media making the most out of those that are truly important??

Re: IGN Editor: If Wii U Doesn't Pick Up, Nintendo Should Look To New Hardware

In the meantime, Platinum Games opens their The Wonderful 101 blog. A character video of Wonder-Red has also been released, revealing the character Wonder-White and thus possibility of yet unseen Unite capabilities. Monster Hunter Frontier G is being ported to the Wii U (& the PS3). But in here, we need to consider trash-talking as news.

Nintendo Life, if you can, please do us a favor and help Kamiya by finding this video.

Re: Nintendo Feels That Working On Smartphones And Tablets Would "Decrease Brand Value"

"Once upon a time — year ending March 31, 2009, to be precise — Nintendo managed to post a profit of 555.2 billion yen. Those days feel like a lifetime away now, what with the Wii passing into memory and its successor — the Wii U — struggling to sell in meaningful quantities."

The following year was the first time in Nintendo's history that they didn't post a profit. Yet I don't see people even suspecting Sony to be in danger were the PS4 not to launch successfully, even though Sony had to sell their NYC HQ last fiscal year to stay profitable.

Re: Asda Stores No Longer Stocking New Wii U Systems or Games

@Peach64 "Will it turn around? Of course,"

But when it will actually turn around, suggesting as you say that it will, and when ASDA will be asking units again from Nintendo, how do you think Nintendo will react? If all of a sudden there is big opportunity between Nintendo and a reseller, such as selling download codes for Wii Fit U in store with the Fit Meter, and GAME and ASDA come in to try to get it, who do you think would get the opportunity then?

ASDA is ruining their relationship with Nintendo at their own cost, tarnishing thr Wii U's sales image more than mere sales figures should do, it's only sad for them: consumers have a plethora of other opportunities.

@banacheck I wanna see your donkey blowing money on new games when your family is trap between life and death, too. I really do.

"Hey!! Here is the brand-new 3DS!! You can play games on it in glasses-free 3D!!"
"Hum... Nintendo. My son is over there dying in an earthquake, where do you think my money is going??"

Some people have never experienced the Maslow pyramid.

@SCAR392 Following your Bluray and stuff discussion, I think this might interest you: https://twitter.com/VidiiUSupport

They made a way to stream videos from your PC to your Wii U just like watching Youtube videos on the Wii U. I tried it with a mp4 video at 1080p and it work perfectly. I also heard about what they call NAS (network-attached storage), which are basically physical hard drive connected to the Internet, which could potentially do the trick in a more official way.

Re: Nintendo Finally Confirms Call of Duty: Ghosts Is Coming To Wii U

DePapier

@Kodeen They're the only big name FPS on the Wii U this year. When — if, for the doomsayers, — the Wii U will have a decent user base, every FPS player on the U will remember and trust CoD when the next one comes out; and were EA's Battlefield 5 to try to compete on the U the next year, they won't stand a chance against a franchise the Nintendo audience have known and trusted for two iterations.

This CoD Ghosts, with the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One, is the occasion for Activision to secure definitely the Nintendo audience for the entire lifespan of the Wii U: they know they shan't miss it.
