A huge amount of attention has been brought to this game and it will no doubt sell much better than expected when it does come out. This game has struck a cord about deplatforming and censorship which will drive people to buy out of support.

It's clear Astral Chain 2 is in high demand, and I hope they annouce it in the near future

This year is shaping up to be a standout year with 2 Pokemon games, Xenoblade 3, Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, Persona 5R, Neir to name a few games

I find it amusing that not being an A*hole is lauded. Now I know why I don't game online.

There are 2 games where I would go for the EN Dub, Persona and Xenoblade. I'm British and it's so rare to actually have decent UK accents in a RPG/JRPG. Persona keeps the American accents because I started playing the Series 15 years ago before I learnt Japanese or lived there. Choice is always great for sure!

What I expect based on Nintendo's track record:

Switch Next Gen - 2025 (Maybe late 2024)

@larryisaman Switch has a Safety mode where you cannot get a game over in battles - very good for if you are more interested in the story/world/social elements.

I have P4G on Steam and P5R on PS4. Played through them both both on larger screens and loved them. I am curious to see how this text heavy game will translate to a much smaller screen. I'll be buying the physical copy of P5R on Switch to show my support, and also to see what that 2nd playthrough will look like. It is a shame that P4G and P3P are only digital but i'll pick them up too.

@Cia I don’t think it’s real, switch will have lower res. Look at Persona 5 Strikers or Catherine Full Body for rough idea.

I don’t believe Atlus would provide that this early.

@twztid13 Yeah In the UK it's about £75 which isn't much but I have the thing for 9 years so not too bad. All of the other PS games I like went to switch or Xbox now. I also have the Series S and Switch Oled and I prefer the portability these days.

Nice that Persona is on Switch and Xbox, now I have zero reason to have my PS4. I will finally sell it!

@Rykdrew Persona is a turn based story driven game, they tend to take upwards of 100 hours to complete. The key elements apart from the core turn based battles are time managment and social link/romance development with confidants

@Palico82 P3 and P4 will be releasing next year Q1 or Q2 alongside Xbox versions.

More than enough salt in the comments for my freshly popped popcorn! I'll choke on my popcorn if Persona 3-5 is announced (But i'll be happy). Nintendo actually has some really good 3rd party games on the system so I'll watch.

A lot of people triggered over optional dlc from a company who has a proven track record of delivering polished games and high content dlc.

Pre ordered after the direct. I will hold off on the DLC for now but I am curious about XB2 DLC though which I haven't tried

Sad the EU version is not out until 8th July but not long yet! Seems like a little extra discount on UK amazon site which is nice.

I must admit the barreness of Arceus was a disapointment. More density like Sword and Shield would be nice.

Three Hopes softens the blow of an EU delay on AI

@Matthew90 Correct the PS3 has 230.4 GFlops but the Switch actually has 393.2 GFlops undocked and 500GFlops docked. It is quite a bit behind the 1.4 TFlops that the PS4 has.

I think this will either be cancelled, a cloud version or it would have to be cut down signficantly more than they was even willing to do on the Xbox One.
