Rise is the only one I'm interested in so right now. Already pre-ordered it and will pour hours into it.
Then a month later my copy of Xenoblade 3 will come in and I'll probably spend even more time on that.
Seriously, where the hell is Outer Wilds? Can we get something? Or just tell us it's cancelled.
First I've heard of Wreckfest. I miss old Burnout games terribly - maybe this can fill that void.
Cuphead and Sunbreak are life necessities during this summer jam.
Super stacked month.
I'll be getting Three Hopes, Capcom Fighting Collection and Cuphead DLC.
Also interested in Shadowrun trilogy, AI, Sunbreak, Card Shark and SILT too.
Pretty good month, especially after a somewhat slow April and May. Fall Guys is a no-brainer since it's free and I'm also very tempted by the Wonder Boy collection. I'm undecided about Sonic Origins just because I have a lot of overlapping Sonic already; between sonic and wonder boy, this seems to be the month of Sega re-selling you things you already bought once on Switch. Silt is tempting just because of the art. I'm not too into playing Mario Strikers myself but I'm interested in watching some professional streamers play. Seems like something for everyone with a variety of fairly big titles but no bank breaking for me which is honestly the best of both worlds.
A lot going on. Definitely getting Mario Strikers, Sonic Origins, Three Hopes and Sunbreak day 1. Hopefully the Cuphead DLC is a sign of the physical version coming soon (back in March 2019 when the Switch version was announced, it was revealed there'd be a physical version once the DLC releases).
Then you've got event season which may reveal even more (especially if Nintendo do decide to do a Direct, Direct isn't guaranteed but possible).
Sunbreak is THE game I've been waiting for all year so far. Mario Strikers is also shaping up to be something I'm very interested in. Those two are my main picks for June, I'd say. Although other possibilities are Fall Guys (since it will be F2P finally) and Fire Emblem Warriors, as I really enjoy warriors style games on Switch (but I never played Three Houses, so I'm not as into the storyline as others would be).
Three Hopes softens the blow of an EU delay on AI
Games I'll Definitely Buy (at some point)
Mario Strikers Battle League
Sonic Origins
Wonder Boy Collection
Games I Might Get
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes
Rabbids: Party Of Legends
Cuphead DLC, Somnium Files 2, Three Hopes, and Sunbreak are all on my list. This month is really stacked!
Happy for all the people excited about these, but I think its going to be a backlog month for me, unless we get some surprise drops this month.
@Sonos
I highly recommend it, I have the PS4 version and it is a blast
It will definitely fill the void.
If you like the old Destruction Derby games or Burnout then think of this as the perfect mash up.
Like Switch Sports, I'll likely wait until next year before picking up Mario Strikers as I'm fed up with supporting Nintendo's full-priced betas.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is also likely to be supplemented with paid DLC, so I'll wait for complete release (or next-gen port/double pack), particularly as I haven't completed the first game yet (or Three Houses for that matter).
So it's just Wonder Boy via Strictly Limited for me, but God knows when that will be ready. I'm also tempted to pick up Cuphead once there is a complete physical release.
Rabbids.
BWAAAH...!!!
I haven't preordered a game in a long time, but the Demo for Strikers convinced me enough to put down some preemptive dough. I was gonna end up buying it eventually anyway
@StarPoint there is a demo for strikers?
@Sonos Yep, you can go through the various training elements, then an online play test will be held starting June 3rd
So many games I'm interested in buying... but exams will take up most of this entire month, so no luck for me on that front! Welp, I'll get to them eventually.
I'm somewhat interested in several of these, but realistically I'll probably buy AI and Shadowrun and call it a day.
This month I´ll buy:
I hope to get to Silt and Sunbreak eventually, but for now I'm just gonna wait on Xenoblade 3 and try to clear up my backlog a bit.
I know people are going to think I'm trolling, but it's the truth! The game I'm most excited for on this list is...
Wreckfest!
Definitely Sonic Origins and Cuphead DLC. I’m gonna wait for reviews before I check out Strikers, which, if they’re good, I may buy eventually.
I’m also interested in the Wonder Boy Collection, as I have been interested in the Sega Genesis for quite a few months now.
After finishing the cardshark demo I’m stoked for the full release
Hasn't been anything interesting for me on Switch in it seems ages so I'm grateful I landed a PS5 recently. Strikers looks good though. Me and the kids might pick that up. Looking forward to some new hype from the summer Direct.
Definitely Fire Emblem...and maybe Demon Slayer. I refuse to get digital Sonic Origins
@2:55, I'm curious if the mole on his cheek is actually supposed to represent syphilis, akin to Hogarth's painting series Marriage a la Mode. This would fit the seediness and hedonism of the upper crust vibe they seem to be going for.
Very hyped for Strikers! I predict it will suck 500+ hours of my life for the next few years.
I totally forgot the Cuphead DLC was coming out in June. Fire Emblem Warriors and AI have been the games that made me forget about the DLC. So excited for them!
Huge snub to leave Capcom Fighting Collection off this list
So, 12 new games, 2 compilations, and 2 pieces of DLC. Don't get me wrong, it's a good amount of stuff, just don't lie in your title.
You forgot Loopers, the biggest release of June next to the AI sequel
@RainbowGazelle They forgot Loopers so they did lie, lol .. How you could forget something from the writer of Higurashi and developed by Key is above and beyond me, lol
@Ralizah Loopers is June 2. I have the physical version pre-ordered at PlayAsia.

@DioBrando Don't forget Loopers! Already pre-ordered my copy at PlayAsia.

@RushDawg I've added Capcom Fighting Collection as it's been mentioned a few times in the comments.
Where is Souldiers, action platformer with a "Souls" side ? This game looks like a gem !
Provided the test this weekend proves it won’t be one of those laggy Nintendo online experiences Mario Strikers is more or less a must for me.
The A.I. Series looks really interesting but I’ll wait on that as well as three hopes which im really excited for (too much on the go as it is)
...I'm annoyed that Cuphead's DLC comes out on the same day as Rise's Sunbreak expansion. >:c
NINE games I'm very interested in there!
Mario Strikers, Rabbids, Demon Slayer, Silt, Card Shark, Capcom FC, AI Somnium Files, Fire Emblem Three Hopes, Fall Guys. 6 pretty much insta-downloads!
Argh!
For me:
1. Mario Strikers Battle League Football
2. Capcom Fighting Collection
And maybe some other games that aren't on this list.
I'm not getting Three Hopes, since I really don't like Warrior-style games. I've tried the previous ones.
@Liam_Doolan Surprised Souldiers isn’t on the list next to Big Con. Believe it’s release is the 2nd, and it looks great! Hope Big Con and Souldiers get reviewed quickly, highly looking forward to em!
Also def picking up Cuphead and MHR Dlcs. AI: Som is on the wishlist but will have to wait till later because I’m Trying to get my daughter a Switch Lite this month as a reward for doing well in school, taking good care of her iPad, and she asked for one last Xmas but I couldn’t grab one so kinda owe her, 😂
being a big fan of footbal and also mario kart, strikers is a no-brainer.. just waiting the reviews to preorder it..
Mario strikers
Three Hopes day 1 for me! AI looks interesting but I’m not buying two games like that in one day so might get that down the road and same for Mario Strikers.
hey moon knight! haha! yeah.. I haven't downloaded the demo yet, but I will.. I'm not playing that much lately.. It will be my first strikers.. but I would like the stadium / fields have hazards, like smash and mario kart.. but again, im eager to start playing!
Mario Strikers and Cuphead DLC for me. After that it's back to the 3DS/Wii U eShops for the rest of their remaining time.
Sonic Origins will have to wait until SEGA can be arsed to release a physical version or confirms there won't be one.
Looks like nothing for me. I tried the Mario Strikers demo and couldn't get past the tackling, and I couldn't find any type of offline multiplayer in it which is weird since it's supposed to have 8 player offline. So that saved me $60.
And speaking of $, anybody know the price of the Cuphead DLC? I looked but didn't see it anywhere. Game is above my skill grade but my kid is a big fan.
Monster Hunter Rise was probably my GOTY for 2021 but I borrowed it for free from the library for a couple of weeks then returned it, and I'm guessing you need it to play the $50 DLC. Not that I'd pay $50 for dlc for a game I played for free but I can't anyway. Maybe next year we'll get a complete edition for $60, I'd buy that.
XC3 next month, waiting on Mario v Rabbids which I feel like doesn't have a date yet despite it being 2022, same for Bayonetta 3. Guess I'll have to wait until the next Direct.
SILT looks very interesting... I will definitely check that out.
I had no idea Demon Slayer was a thing until this article so now that's on my list. I love the mashup of genres (fighting, quick time, overworld exploration). Sort of reminds me of a colorful and newer Shenmue which I think is awesome. Other than that, Sonic Origins for me. Then up next will be those (2) Ninja Turtles games coming. I cannot wait.
Tears to fill my mugman while I get slaughtered at cuphead all over again
My bank account is crying in the corner right now.
Sonic Origins and Strikers on Switch, Shadowrun on Xbox thanks to Gamepass. Might have to get back into MH with the DLC coming out as well. On top of that, F1 22 comes out the day my extra long weekend begins!
