I have still not played Shredder's Revenge yet, and I will do, but Cosmic Invasion just sounds incredible. 3 days until release, but I'm gonna be waiting for physical... I'm surprising myself with how excited I am for the game!
The whole game key cart thing actually opened my eyes to preservation of games and the longevity of having the physical releases available to me. This was in June when the Switch 2 came out. Prior to this I was probably buying a new game on shop once or twice every 3 months, and physical perhaps one a year. But since June I've bought 92 Switch/Switch 2 games, all physical. I regret many of them and have a distinct feeling that I've ruined the specialness of many of them. I might just sell a bunch and take this as a lesson learned...
All this talk of there being only 14 games... but where is Goldeneye, Waterworld, and Nester's Funky Bowling?
I got my Virtual Boy for $99 back in 1996, and still got it. Unfortunately I've had the same 2 games for all that time... Interested to try something else, but has to be the cardboard option.
For me I won't buy a game that only has a game key cart, unless I REALLY want to play it, like with Full Metal Schoolgirl (and that is begrudgingly pre-ordered). And that limits me, which also impacts my view of the current library. Personally I have enough for me to be getting on with though all the games being on cart would dynamically change my view. The Switch 1 has such an immense library of physical releases, big and small, and I'd like Switch 2 to have that once Game Key Carts are inevitably dumped.

Well, I didn't know it was out, but I've made my order now!
Re: Hollow Knight: Silksong's Latest Update Is Now Live On Switch 1 & 2, Here Are The Patch Notes
If they released a paid DLC that was a just a lower difficulty level then I'd 100% get it.

Re: Mario Kart World Has Been Updated To Version 1.3.0, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
This is a proper update! Was about to give up on Free Roam, but this is gonna suck me right back in!
Now we just need a Classic GP mode for every cup and we're all set.

Re: Reminder: Here's When Hollow Knight: Silksong Releases In Your Time Zone
Purchased, but not appeared in the dock and blank slot amongst my virtual game cards ๐คจ
Re: Hollow Knight: Silksong's Price Has Been Officially Announced
@Ampelmann This makes an abundance of sense
Re: Hollow Knight: Silksong's Price Has Been Officially Announced
Okay, this is good and everything, great value and absolutely I'll be buying this, but $20 does not equal ยฃ20...
Re: GungHo's Switch Free-To-Play 'Ninjala' Looks To Be Winding Down Major Support
@ShieldHero I think it's one of those Japan exclusive releases. I went there last week and picked up a whole bunch of physical only in Japan releases. Available here online - https://www.play-asia.com/ninjala-game-card-package-multi-language/13/70dhxl
Re: GungHo's Switch Free-To-Play 'Ninjala' Looks To Be Winding Down Major Support
I literally just bought this physical in Japan last week, so this timing is excellent
Re: Little Nightmares 3 And Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition Announced For Switch 2
It would be too much to ask that this not be a game key card right? Please be physical... ๐๐ผ
