Actually, I agree with a couple of these. Breath of the Wild IS better in terms of variety, control and nuance. Burnout 3 is better for accesibillity, control, flow and appeal. Bloodborne is better for realised ambition, atmosphere, scale, variety and a host of other reasons.

@Strictlystyles you don't think it's a fair description? It is roleplaying a criminal from the ghetto, carjacking is the biggest gameplay mechanic...they even market the game as such, no?

Of those games I'd say Zelda, Batman or Witcher but a big reason for that as well is that for the life of me I cannot feel why someone would play Ghetto Auto or Soldier of Duty.

I will pay full price for physical versions of Cuphead, Doom Eternal, Everspace, and some other big games that for some reason are only available as a digital revokable license.

With Nintendo going all in on Metroid hype and Cruisin being in a nice genre called 'arcade racing' this was to be expected.

On a serious note, I understand the idea behind what you are conveying but you know, these terms change every few years. I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of decades we went back to the original bible mentioning of 'cripples' instead of handicapped, disabled, differently abled, handicapable you name it.

My specific point is, and my apologies to the fine author for derailing the topic this way, we don't need terminology for the standard. A chair that hasn't broken yet isn't a 'proper sittable chair', a cat that still has all four of its legs isn't an 'able bodied cat'.

Unfortunate as it is to be disabled, disabilities are not the norm so we don't need a name for what is the expected.
