I'm getting Kirby physically, and I have yet to decide if I want Gal*Gun 2 physically on Switch or digitally on Steam. Oh, and don't sleep on Theatrhythm Curtain Call on the 3DS, if you like rhythm games then this game gives you an extraordinary amount of content for only €20!
Now to decide whether or not I want to buy this a third time to support: 1: Warriors games on Switch 2: Bandai Namco (anime) games on Switch 3: Physical releases on Switch
Alright everyone, pay attention: Hyrule Warriors is the third best Warriors game Fire Emblem Warriors is the second best Warriors game THIS is the best one of them all. Huge variety of characters, frantic combat and a ton of meaningful things to collect.
You know what I loved back in the day? Black Ops 1 on Wii and Activision's GoldenEye on Wii. Those games really showed just how useful WiiMote was with FPS games. And now that we have the JoyCon controllers with (roughly) the same functionality, I'm waiting for the next big FPS to release on Switch and make use of that. Perhaps if EA is fast enough they can swoop in with motion-controlled Battlefield and (for once) leave Activision biting their dust!
Now I want to play VLR again. My third favourite game of all time, thanks to the story and the genuinely fun puzzle rooms. If only the publisher had bothered to patch one very big bug out of one of the rooms, the 3DS game would've been perfect. I might pick this up on sale or something. I wish there were more high quality room escape games.
I have this on Steam, and I enjoyed the... two hours I played of it before I moved on to bigger games that released around the time. Probably should go back to it at some point. And the rest of my backlog too.
I rather liked this game on Steam, so I got it again on Switch. But you know what I really want to see on Switch (that this game reminds me of)? Broforce! It's a perfect fit for the Switch's brand of co-op!
Ooh, new pinball tabl- oh it's Jurassic Park, never mind. I really wish that Zen Studios would make tables based on DC Comics, but I suppose they have some kind of exclusivity deal with Marvel. Where are the Marvel and Star Wars tables on Switch, anyway?
Me during the last two party crashes: "Man I play none of these characters." Me during this party crash: "Oh come on, I play both of these characters! Whose side do I pick now!?"
"BPM (Battle Performance Mana)" Hah!
I'll look at reviews when this comes out. I'm hoping this is not the only music-based JRPG that will appear on Switch cough TMS cough
I preordered the Zelda Encyclopedia a while back, and I can't wait for that to arrive. Maybe I'll get this too if it contains more than just the platformers.
I get why this would not be great for Sega fans. But personally, I have zero history with Sega franchises that aren't Sonic. So for me, this would actually be better. Blaze could be playable! ...Although Racing Transformed was also a really really really good game, so... we'll see how this turns out.
A shame. But this game is still my GOTY 2017 on PC, so if you are at all interested in this game and have one of the devices the game did release on, I say give it a shot!
I'm playing Dragon Quest Builders, which is really awesome. On PC I'm also playing Civilization VI and Street Fighter V. And I'm waiting until that IInd DLC pack for Fire Emblem Warriors releases, and also the big Xenoblade II patch so I can resume that playthrough. ...Roman numerals are fun.
Hyrule Warriors has the most content and Fire Emblem Warriors has the better gameplay. Quantity vs Quality? ...They are both very good games though, so you can't go wrong with either of them.
I'm not getting it digital, but I will be playing Builders this weekend! I would get Darkside Detective and Crypt of the Necrodancer, but I already have them on Steam.
Sigh Every time I see the words 'Harvest Moon' I get nostalgic for the A Wonderful Life. I hope the next Story of Seasons will be announced for Switch soon. I prefer the character designs in those games over the ones in new Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley.
I sure as heck can't stand watching Smash Bros 'two foxes vibrating each other off stage' Melee, but all the other confirmed games I'm looking forward to. Kind of sad there's no KoF or Pokken. The latter's fanbase is so dedicated to being taken seriously that I really want to see them succeed. And Pokken is fun to watch, and its ludicrously balanced character roster makes it so that you see a lot of variety.
As far as I'm concerned: as long as they keep hacking shenanigans away from online multiplayer, they can do whatever the heck they want with their purchase. Just don't ruin it for other people!
"10+ hour campaign" Wow, that really IS the longest five minutes! I'll put this one on my wishlist. I have Dragon Quest Builders and Civ 6 Rise and Fall to look forward to this week!
@Shiryu Don't worry about it! I googled it myself after reading the article, and I can't expect everything to have to be explained over and over again on the off-chance a newcomer might not know it.
Me reading the headline: "the heck is a MSU1?" Me reading article: "...no really, the heck is a MSU1?" But hey, remixes of music are always good in my book!
I played this game on Steam. It was, in my opinion, a lot funnier than Thimbleweed Park. Then again, humour is one of the most subjective things, so make of that what you will. This game is very short though. Might be a positive or a negative depending on your tastes.
This is nice to hear. Usually, the only things we hear about developers are the bad things like crunches, mass layoffs or people only being rewarded for Metacritic scores.
I'm surprised they even managed to get this game to work with button controls. I wish my Switch wouldn't slip around on my desk when playing touch screen games like this and Deemo. It makes it very difficult to play songs with a lot of sliding notes.
And on the same day that this announcement happened, I also got word that the very first mobile game I've ever played, (and still play to this day) Tales of Link, is also stopping service. I am far more upset about that than about Miitomo, though :')
I loved season one (despite not being that much into the games), but I could never recommend it to friends because it ended so abruptly. I guess this summer I can finally tell them to give it a shot!
I'm reading that Xenoblade pass stuff... the quests are new, but weren't the items already released some time ago? Or is this an entirely new set of items?

Re: Review: Detective Pikachu (3DS)
Reading through this review I'm getting pretty big MySims Agents vibes from this. This may have just sold this game for me!
Re: Mysterious 'Project R' Sonic Racer Teased By Sega
As long as it is at least as good as All-Stars Racing Transformed, I'm in.

@Frank90 Samurai Warriors 4 is also fantastic, probably my favourite not-spinoff Warriors!
