The rumour mill continues to pump out quality 'what ifs', with today's speculative news suggesting WB Games has two as-yet unannounced LEGO-based projects in development - a LEGO DC Super Villains game and a LEGO Incredibles 2 title to tie in with the upcoming (and long belated) film sequel.
According to Comic Book, it claims sources close to WB Games have revealed these titles are indeed in development but no further details are available at this stage. Since we're not able to substantiate these rumours ourselves, the suggestion is certainly plausible but not worth getting excited over just yet. Developer TT Games recently released LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 and the studio does seem to alternate between DC and Marvel titles, so who knows?
As for LEGO The Incredibles 2? With the film set for a summer release in June, the union of two such family friendly licenses seems a match made in heaven (as it did for the now defunct Disney Infinity series). And, with LEGO Dimensions put to the sword last year, new single instalments certainly seems the most likely plan going forwards.
Do you think we'll see these two titles on Switch, if at all? Are there other licenses more deserving of a brick-based makeover? Or maybe you're just plain sick of LEGO. Let us know how you REALLY feel...

I’m fairly burned out on Lego games, even if I do love The Incredibles (and everything Pixar, for that matter).
Ah there it is...
We buy almost all of the Lego games as my 2 teenage boys like to play them together and I'll dabble occasionally, so I was wondering when some new ones would get announced. Which these aren't, so I guess I'll keep waiting on that, but this seems a pretty sure lock for a rumour.
Of course we still need to watch the Incredibles movies w/ my kids, but they did play the heck out of RotU when they were little on PC, so they get the gist.
I wonder if "DC Villians" will look a lot like Sucidie Squad? I've read that's getting a sequel.
Enough of Lego games, WB games should port the Batman Arkham Series and Injustice 2!
@tourjeff Yes please
I was sick of playing the very first LEGO game by TT Games 10 years ago after about half an hour. I'm sure I returned it the same afternoon I bought it. I had been looking forward to it too. The fact the formula is basically still the same now, 20 odd games later as the original baffles me.
@Drac_Mazoku There's villains like the Underminer, and others from the heyday of Mr. Incredible, and even some new ones.
Even my 8 yr old is burnt out on too many Lego games. Worlds was our last purchase, after Super Heroes 2. Just too much.
I loved them on the Wii U as the second screen was a godsend for multiplayer. Each person getting their own screen however on the Switch it’s less convenient for multiplayer. I’m still keen tho
Would love Lego Marvel vs DC.
The Incredibles 2 as a LEGO game...
Throw in the story of the first and maybe an original connecting story between the two, and you've got a deal. However, at this point I just want TT Games put onto something else not related to LEGO, or at least give them full creative control again. City Undercover might have been the same old formula, but they weren't working around a specific film licence so it felt the freshest a LEGO game had in a long time.
Cant see how they will have much content for the incredibles. Disney lego as a whole would be better. Every level could be a different movie. Aladin, lion king, tarzan etc etc
@Djgoa I'm confused why would they not have content?
I'll always say yes to more DC Comics stuff.
@nintendoforlife incredibles has 50 characters max where as a lego game needs 4x that
@Djgoa Why do you need 200 characters for a game to have content xD
My 3 year old will be very excited. If it was up to him I would buy every Lego game!
I like the LEGO games overall. They're formulaic (smash everything), have their own sets of issues (races, especially when flying - ugh), but sometimes it's good to sit down to something that's not overly challenging and bust up a ton of bricks. I like DC and the Incredibles is an intriguing concept. Not sure about the "Villains" idea, though. I'll have to see how that's implemented. Wondering what the Incredibles franchise will do to custom characters with capes...
No Lego The Last Jedi?
@BalloonFighter That's what I want to see!
@BalloonFighter Lego the Force Awakens came out June 2016 and The Force Awakens itself came out December 2015, so don't count it out yet.
Lego games are an easy sell to kids. Combining the evergreen Lego toys with popular movies and a well established game engine and formula means these are easy cash grabs.
I am also not interested.
The first lego Incredibles already has both films.
