Re: Feature: "We Tested 60fps In Pre-Production, But The Smoothness Felt Unnatural"

Borderlineland

Oh man the people addicted to pretending 145fps gives them an advantage over 60fps people are gonna burst a blood vessel hearing what your normal gamer feels, and that is 30fps is perfectly fine.

Weird 24 fps doesn't make their eyes explode when watching a film, which they're all filmed in, when anything under 60 apparently makes them dizzy, disoriented and lose sense of reality as their eyeballs bleed.

Re: Ubisoft's Disastrous 2024 May Lead To The Company Going Private

Borderlineland

Not even gonna say to as to WHY this is happening huh?

Go woke, go broke is in full effect for all to see. Then these companies have the nerve to blame us, the gamers, for their failure to understand the simple concept that people who play video games are NOT the target audience for the agenda push and we will spread the awareness and vote with our dollars. Even with games that aren't out yet. Those abysmal pre orders for AC worried them big time.

Ignoring the Japanese outcry with the whole black samurai thing with AC, promoting a collectable with a Hiroshima relic on it..they're just messing up left and right.

Plus the Star Wars AI is worse than what we had 20 years ago. Its horribly dumbed down and just bad... yet they blame us for expecting too much. Unbelievable.

Re: Random: The Latest 'Switch 2' Rumour? Scroll Wheel Shoulder Buttons

Borderlineland

Neat to know I can hop on a burner pRedditor account and write some fan fiction and be on this news site within a couple days on a slow cycle day.

Im not sure what one would even use such buttons for? We really don't need MORE buttons anyway. I cant really think of any games that come to mind that could benefit from an extra button. Maybe..maybe Overwatch..

Re: Nintendo Is Reportedly Targeting AI-Generated Mario Pictures

Borderlineland

LOL smh. Good luck with that. I've seen more AI adult art made of Peach on one fast moving website than they could ever possibly take down despite their illegal use of lawfare. And nobody needs to use Grok (aka Flux) for that since its locally created or genned through websites hosted in country that laugh at silly IP laws in this era of technology.

Re: 'RPG Maker With' Demo Now Available On Switch eShop

Borderlineland

With advances in AI, there's no excuse to not learn to actually code and create a game instead of making a copy paste sprite RPG if you actually want to learn.

My brother was able to code a basic Binding if Isaac like game from scratch with 0 knowledge beforehand in a couple of months with AI assistance. Now he actually knows what he's doing without much GPT assistance at all.

Re: Review: REYNATIS (Switch) - Underbaked Action-RPG Fare That Plays Rough On Switch

Borderlineland

Downloaded the demo but never got around to trying it. I don't mind a ho-hum RPG game, especially one not tossing out huge empty open worlds just to do so. The amount of mediocre RPGs I played through in the PS1-2 days that I still enjoyed..tons of em.

That said , nothing really jumped out at me with this and I doubt itll ever go on sale cheap enough to warrant an impulse buy.

Re: UK Charts: Warhammer Dominates While Only One Nintendo Title Makes The Top 10

Borderlineland

Well played Warhammer, they deserve it just for their CEO being so based and commenting on how games should be fun and not pushing some moral guidelines on you. We have to endure that stuff nonstop 24/7 everywhere else, leave it out of games...or fail miserably (hi Concord, hi Dustborn!) since the true audience of gamers is done with that nonsense.

That said I've been playing Hogwarts on my Switch and absolutely loving it. That is how you make an open world game engaging throughout (take notes BoTW).

Re: Palworld Developer Responds To Nintendo Lawsuit

Borderlineland

Trying to copyright and own an entire genre? Weird they didn't care about Digimon then all these years. Or is just because they made a far superior game than the Pokemon slop they've been putting out for years now and the gaming audience recognized that?

In any case, I hope PalWorld wins as this is just another example of Nintendo abusing the justice system by pressuring and tossing lawsuits at perceived enemies frivolously with intimidation tactics.
