This is almost exactly what I've been asking for (not the eshop part) since the Switch 1 released. I really liked the activity log the 3DS had, so I'm really happy to have this now.

The whole "over 50 hours" thing was rubbish, would have been nice to have this on the Switch itself, but having the data from the 3DS on the app is really nice.

Not surprised about the dub still being bad due to a VA or two. Really looking forward to this version of the game.

This is great, hopefully they also fixed that bug where you can't view the online leaderboards.

I think it was a good call, to separate themselves from everyone else.

My first, and only Gameboy Color was purple (or grape), and I remember I looking at it from behind the glass case feeling a lot like the execs: "It just didn’t feel masculine". I was like, maybe 10 at the time, but purple really did look and feel “girly”.

The lady at the register assured me it wasn't a big deal and I immediately got over it.

@thiz It's probably because of a certain word you used, rather than complaining about ports; which is a valid criticism in itself. I think a lot of people are tired of ports in general as well.

Maybe the intended response was for them to be excited, but I guess that wasn't the case.

I didn't have any issues with the game crashing, so if anyone's on the fence about trying to beat it then I hope that helps.

As a side note, I noticed some people complaining about the difficulty. I don't consider myself a 'hardcore' or 'pro' gamer, but the game wasn't 'that' difficult. It had its moments where I had to stop, and think about what I was doing (and why), but overall the experience was enjoyable.

So if you haven't played it and are worried about the difficulty--it's fine. It also helps if you take a small break when you're stuck on anything, and reengage with fresh eyes.

I think the pikachu vocals kind of ruin it, I might have to listen to it a few more times.

"nOLED" hah, I love. Like one previous person stated, I'll "upgrade" if/when my current Switch stops working. I do play my Switch in handheld, but I got the SMB edition Switch when it came out, so it still feels too soon for me to buy another one.

I was unsatisfied with the ending for the first game, so I'm going to wait until the reviews for this one comes out. Everything else about the first was enjoyable though.
