Re: Not All Super Smash Bros. Characters Will Make The Leap To Wii U And 3DS

Blue_Yoshi

Looks like all the "oddball" characters are going out. By that I mean characters that just seem weird or aren't big enough "stars" to hold their own. For example Lucario is definitely getting taken out, due to the fact that they dropped Mewtwo and that Lucario will already be 2 generations backwards by the time the game comes out. Toon Link most likely isn't going to be in the game, possibly due to the fact that we see him riding the train in the 3DS version. Sad because those two were some of my favorite characters. I'm really hoping they keep in Mr. Game and Watch though because I really will be so disappointed if he's not included.

Re: Steel Diver Will Be Nintendo's First Free-To-Play Game

Blue_Yoshi

I bought Steel Diver shortly after the 3DS launched because I got bored of the games I had to play at launch. Surprisingly it was sold out at a Gamestop I went to and I ended up buying for full price at $40 which I later could find for $20. As cool as the game was it wasn't worth the full retail price but still pretty cool nonetheless. The 3D visuals would translate well in HD as well as the touch screen controls on the tablet. Probably going to make you buy submarines. I'm glad there continuing this unique franchise which started out as a tech demo for the original DS.

Re: Ubisoft Delayed Rayman Legends On Wii U In Fear Of Low Sales

Blue_Yoshi

I thought it was going to say that the Wii U version would be put on hold. As much as it would have been cool to play it at launch I agree with their decision to make it multiplatform as Rayman Origins was on every platform including the Vita so we shouldn't feel bad for bringing it over. Doesn't mean they couldn't have given us the watered down Wii U version when it was supposedly finished.

Re: Retro Studios Working on "One Major Project at a Time"

Blue_Yoshi

I for one am looking forward to this game rather than a Metroid one. I feel as if the series needs to take a break, if not at least go back to its roots with the dreaded Metroid Dread title we've been waiting years for. DKCR was a pretty good game and as close enough of a sequel to the Rare series as we'll ever get so we should be happy there taking advantage of the hype and actually attempting to be more like the original Donkey Kong Country with underwater levels and such.

Re: Pokémon X & Y Developer Roundtable Reveals Sky Battles And Horde Encounters

Blue_Yoshi

@Musterd omg you are completely right it can shoot bubbles like bullets. The claw is even yellow. I was about to say it's probably a blue crawdad like the one I have as a pet in real life but it makes more sense to adapt this amazing animal instead. I'm looking forward to Clauncher def a must catch and Skrelp looks pretty cool too. Talonflame sounds a little cliche, hopefully it'll be good.

Re: Review: Ghosts 'n Goblins (Wii U eShop / NES)

Blue_Yoshi

I bought this to get half price off of Mega Man X and I gotta say after one quick playthrough I'm not disappointed it's not as difficult as I perceived it but I think that's a good thing along with the save states I'll be able to actually complete this game and have enough confidence to try the sequel.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Is Recalling Wii U Basic Bundle

Blue_Yoshi

About time, nobody should be cursed with losing out on a game and crucial beginner data to hold you over when you first get the console. Nintendo is probably recalling the white Wii U's so that they can modify them to save money from making a new batch of White Wii U's.

Re: All Three Of Nintendo's Exclusive Sonic Titles Will Be Out In 2013

Blue_Yoshi

I feel as if I'm the only one who would think that a Mario and Sonic Kart mashup would actually be pretty good, some people feel as if Mario Kart wouldn't be the same but I feel pretty grateful that we even got another Mario Kart so quickly after 7. This gives potential for a more "traditional" Mario Kart to get released later on in the systems lifespan when its power has been presumably upgraded or harnessed completely to give us the best Mario Kart experience ever. Maybe they'll bring back the bikes or add offroad ATV's with realistic physics.

Re: Super Mario Bros. Movie Sequel On the Way, as a Webcomic

Blue_Yoshi

This has to be the greatest thing ever. I mean at least its something Toad is looking more toady and the koopa troopas look like The Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man(who in turn borrowed the goombas look) can't wait to see grown up Yoshi and the new villain(Wart?) but unfortunately they said the artist claimed he would do one page a week which is a disappointment. If this could be a constant ongoing series that would be so amazing. I love the Super Mario Bros. Movie despite what everyone else says about it. It always has been and always will be a cult classic. If only it had more random Mario references it would have been perfect but I like to think of art as being meant to turn out the way it does.

Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd May (North America)

Blue_Yoshi

UGH I'm very disappointed that Europe gets a half price discount on two titles if you have Kirby's Adventure(Which was pretty much free) and America has a 3rd title given away for free if you buy two. I'm mad partially because two of the titles are for the Kirby Collection which I have yet to get. I was looking forward to playing Superstar or at least Dream Course but I'll have to wait on it for now. Looks like I already have enough games as it is.

Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd May (Europe)

Blue_Yoshi

@Linkstrikesback it's your own fault for not buying the damn game when it was on sale at a ridiculously low price. Yeah the emulation is choppy, even on the big screen surprisingly but it stills plays well enough to consider purchasing for 30 cents or pence or whatever currency was in your region. I for one am looking forward to Dream Course if the sale comes to America. Superstar may have to be skipped on since I have Ultra for the DS and I plan on getting the Kirby Collection for Wii(which brings me to admit I already bought Kirby's Adventure for Wii U and 3DS) so I'm not sure if Superstar is worth it. I admit I like playing Adventure on the gamepad but the price it was given at was practically a steal but I already still have to play the 3D remake, not to mention I've been playing Nightmare in Dreamland ever since I was a kid. I may just pick up Superstar if it's $2.50 like SMB2 was.

Re: Talking Point: The Download or Disc Dilemma

Blue_Yoshi

Unless a digital game is dirt cheap and I'm saving a lot of money on it, I'll buy it, otherwise I'll go physical because I generally don't sell my games but if anything ever came up and I had to majorly relocate it would seem like the most logical idea as I would not be willing to carry on all this luggage.

Re: Ecco The Dolphin Creator Launches Kickstarter For Spiritual Sequel, Wii U Version A Possibility

Blue_Yoshi

As much as I would love to support this, I pledged to myself that I would never donate to a Kickstarter fund. I spend too much of my income on video games to support any fund and as much as I'd love to support this because I know I would get my money back if it didn't fall through, I really can't, especially considering that there tryna raise more than half a million dollars in 34 days. Seems unrealistic to me, why not pitch this idea to publisher they would so fund them.

Re: Remake Request: Captain Blood

Blue_Yoshi

I'm sorry but the chances of this game being remade seem pretty slim, it was released over 20 years ago and doesn't even seem to have a cult following. I do respect it as a unique retro game.

Re: Review: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (3DS)

Blue_Yoshi

@ouroborous Yeah I'm surprised there's no Circle Pad Pro support either. You'd think that if Miyamoto forced the devs to put in a good multiplayer mode we would also ask for support for his bulky accessory as well.

Re: Wii U Version Of Dead Island: Riptide "Not Worth It", Says Deep Silver

Blue_Yoshi

It honestly isnt worth releasing on the Wii U. For one thing we already have ZombiU, and another is that the demographics for Dead Island and Wii U wouldn't really mix. This is a sequel to a game that was never released for Wii U oe Wii in the first place. I guess you could say the same for Mass Effect and Batman but those supposedly didn't sell well either. If your bummed out about it than just buy it for 360/PS3/PC I mean I hate Nintendo getting excluded as well but we should all be used to it by now. That's life my friends, ya win some and ya lose some.

Re: Nintendo Download: 21st March 2013 (North America)

Blue_Yoshi

Mutant Mudds should be a no brainer, however all the other games on sale really took up a lot of space on my SD card though I am upgrading my 3DS to PikaXL haha but I'll just wait for the HD version to come out on Wii U. I might check out Zen Pinball as its free, didn't really like the way it was structured on Xbox, hope we get at least 3 free tables this time.

Re: Review: Goony (DSiWare)

Blue_Yoshi

Hmmm this sounds interesting. I used to love playing Q*Bert and I like the nature and concept of the game. I really want to pick it up but I feel like I'll only play it a few times and never go back to it because there's just too many games I have that have way more depth to them. If only there was a story mode or online leaderboards I'd might pick it up. If its like 99 cents I'll probably give it a shot. Really love the atmosphere of the game I might def give it a shot at some point.
