Re: Soapbox: Nintendo Could Have Ruled The Micro-Console Market With Wii

Blue_Yoshi

Ya see this is what Nintendo SHOULD have done at some point in the past but right now it would be a horrific idea given all the shovelware that the Wii was given due to lack of third party support. It's almost like everyone but a few old fashion companies stopped giving the Wii support. Nintendo is a a juggernaut when it comes to game design but it takes more than just first party titles to really push a console. That's why I bought a 360 2 years after the Wii was released. I needed to play better, normal games and it was a perfect alternative to the expensive-at-the-time PS3.

Re: US Retailer Lists Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon For Wii U

Blue_Yoshi

Hmmm well I think this is interesting but chancers are they may have made a mistake as this is the "Year of Luigi" and surely an important Luigi announcement would have made headlines in a Nintendo Direct, unless they wish to release it next year as a throwback to the Year of Luigi, that's most likely why the release date is December 31, it's likely to be announced next year.

Re: Mighty No. 9 Confirmed for 3DS

Well looks like the single player mode is complete, adding in a stage with female protagonist Call and an entirely remixed 16 bit soundtrack with effects to match. With two hours to go, if it manages to reach it's online battle mode stretch goal that'd be nice but I think at this point we're spoiled enough as it is. I can do without it but if it could make it than it'll be a nice consolation prize. Now's your chance to prepay for the gam,e by investing $20.

Re: Extra Pre-Order DLC Available for Sonic Lost World on Wii U

Blue_Yoshi

Ya see I hate it when they make different content for different regions because its like what if they DON'T eventually make it as DLC? Than what about all the people who didn't preorder? It makes sense to give this stuff for free to people who did preorder and than make it available as cheap DLC later on. Not only will it be fair but also will most likely be bought by people who got cheap used copies of the game as well.

@Tryken

Damn, I almost spat my bud light lime at the monitor as I was drinking it when I searched up that developer getting arrested. I thought he like got drunk and fought someone but no he got caught with child pornography. Nintendo will never let these guys get anywhere close to their system, at least not for a loooong while. Seriously that charge was such a force that we won't be seeing this game for a while(or forever for that matter)

Re: Doublade Revealed for Pokémon X & Y, an Evolution of Honedge

@KnightRider666

Yeah exactly poison type should have stayed super effective against Bug Type Pokemon because without that it's only strong against one type and that's grass and now they added Fairy which will make it good but if they added Bug it would become a great balanced type. As for Steel I thought it would be annoying when I had a ghost or dark move and it was ineffective but ultimately I think it is kinda wrong to take away its resistances. People have wanted a Ghost/Steel specifically because the Dark and Ghost moves would have been nerfed due to the steel typing but unfortunately that's not the case so this Pokemon went from being good to mediocre as the newer generations seem to focus on more Dark and Ghost types.

Re: Doublade Revealed for Pokémon X & Y, an Evolution of Honedge

Blue_Yoshi

I would be excited, but Ghost/Steel typing has now been weakened to due to the BS changes of having two of it's 11 type resistances taken away. There was no reason for that, yes Steel type is super effective against Fairy, but so is poison and poison didn'y get an improved super effectiveness of Bug type Pokemon like it should have been. Bottomline, if they were going to make some changes to the type chart, they needed to make more.

@jpfan1989

Oh of course how silly of me I almost forgot about those two, Pachy is a classic Dino but the general public wouldn't know about them if it wasn't for The Lost World. I guess Bastiodon really did take the cake for making them a forgettable duo, luckily it wasn't based off Triceratops Maximus I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be different Trikey species that has a huge frill and no horn, kinda like a big Protoceratops.

Re: CoroCoro Magazine Reveals Pokémon X & Y Starter Evolutions, Mega Mewtwo X and New 'Mon

Blue_Yoshi

After all these years we finally get a legit T-Rex Pokemon AND IT'S A ROCK/DRAGON plus the Dilpodocus was a complete surprise and the fact that it can not only turn normal type moves into ice type moves but power them up as well. Glad I chose Froakie from the beginning. Maybe these middle evolution moves are hints at their finals typing. Grass/Ground, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Flying

Re: Poké Transporter Confirmed for X & Y

Blue_Yoshi

I honestly think this is kind of ridiculous. I mean seriously 3000 Pokemon when there's like not even 800 official ones? In my opinion if you have more than 50 EV Trained Pokemon that you actually use I think its time to stop for a while. I probably do but maybe not I pretty much retired from EV training a while back but I still love revisiting all the games.

Re: Sonic Generations Will Cost $29.99 On The North American 3DS eShop

Blue_Yoshi

I was hoping for $15 maybe even $20 at most. Console Gnerations was good but I heard that this one was trash and had a strict 2D Formula that gave Classic Sonic modern day power ups so like the experience between the two was barely different. Seriously Sega we can't just throw money away at Sonic games anymore if the quality isn't going to be that great. Yall need to convince Yuji Naka from returning from retirement.

Re: Peter Molyneux Reveals His Favourite Zelda Title Of All Time

Blue_Yoshi

Twilight Princess is a favorite of mine too. Amazing graphics for the time it was released with unique environments to accompany them, a wolf form that let you communicate with animals and give a new edge on fighting, not to mention Zant, who is probably the most kickdonkey arch villain that Zelda has ever produced. The motion controls were a plus but didn't create the whole experience, it was the realism of everything that stole the show.

Re: Nintendo Has "Nothing To Announce" Regarding Mother 3 Localisation

Blue_Yoshi

Ya know I really don't get Nintendo anymore. It's almost like they don't care about the fans opinions and still think that there instincts will pull them out of everything. I hate those types of people and Nintendo is turning into one of those kinds. I hate to say it but if Nintendo doesn't get their sh*t together they're going to be dragging they're *sses behind Sony and Microsoft forever. Not to mention that there lack in game support lately would never warrant a "free gaming" service like PS+ or Microsoft Gold have ever.
