@hendie001 It has VA and a different story. Lego games don't change that much. Batman 2 feels very similar to Batman 3 eg.

@PilksUK I'm going with a contact surface, a la 3DS. It would be pretty hard to slot the tablet into a little USB slot in the dock if you can't see it.

I'm hoping for rewritable blank Switch cartridges. Almost like the Famicom Disk System or the R4 DS cards. Could load up 1 AAA or a few Indies. It would look like this, just bigger obviously.

It would be cool if Nintendo could supply sticker paper and printable game cartridge stickers for your printer.

Kind of a clickbait article title there Mitch. I was almost worried that it would be relating to in-game features such as the PSS, trading ect.

Nobody really uses the internet browser and missing the Miiverse won't be much of a problem since it's so clunky and laggy regardless.

I never really thought how they had to use the phonetic Japanese alphabet. I guess nowadays you can fit the several thousand Kanji (and Chinese to that extent) easily so it is no longer a problem.

I can understand no 3D, it is heavily taxing on the system and you can see that in Pokémon XY/ORAS and in Monster Hunter X. Framerates go down the toilet.

No online, Nintendo, this isn't the N64 or the GBA. Like seriously, you cut one of the biggest selling points of the Wii U version.

@samuelvictor True, everyone seems to forget out European SNES that was pretty much the exact same SFamicom but with SNES instead of Famicom.

Well I booted up Pokémon Go.
I live near a garden center, I can actually see it from the map in the app and there are 2 gyms right next to each other, one for the entrance and one for the exhibition gardens in the back (which are free to enter). Also there are about 2 Pokéstops nearby.

@A01 a secret button combo is actually very plausable. The WiiUs on display were very likely demo/dev units. Demo units for all types of gadgets usually have a special button combo/gesture to open a settings menu.

The settings menu is usually there for the shop owner to configure the demo unit for time limits, software locks and obviously connectivity such as Wi-Fi, bluetooth and peripheals.
