Pokémon Sun and Moon arrives this week, and a new trailer has just gone live to celebrate that fact.
The trailer - which is just over 3 minutes on length - boasts some lovely new footage from the game and is sure to generate a fair amount of hype before the finished product arrives in a few days.

The localised version of this trailer, with some small variations, has now been posted. It shows names and details for new Z-Moves and Ultra Beasts, while confirming some distributions that will be coming.

I like how Z Moves adhere to a scorched earth policy.
Definitely getting a D-Reaper vibe off the Ultra Beasts. Plus this cements my choice of starter being Popplio.

This was such a nice surprise after finishing a day with two mock exams, this trailer was great and ensures Popplio as my starter. Only over a week to go, if I'm lucky GAME will have it ready a day early at most. I'm excited!

The website says that you will be able to obtain Magearna via QR code. That would make event pokemon a lot easier to get ^^
I saw a Mangosteen Pokemon. Is that exclusive or common ?
@Kimyonaakuma Apparently the Magearna QR code will be given on the Pokemon TV app.
@Anti-Matter An alleged list of version exclusives leaked last week and Bounsweet (the mangosteen Pokemon) wasn't on it, so chances are it's relatively common.

Primarina's Z-move is badass
How about a FF crossover with this game? I want to catch a Sephiroth and troll online opponents by using Supernova.

So the violence looks more complex but the big question is will there be berry planting, contests, and juicy endgame content like the Battle Frontier? Ultra Beasts are like (exactly the same as?) the Ba'als in Bravely Second. Are they the new Legendaries?

@ollietaro Berry growing will be done in PokePelago, no contests have been shown, the Battle Tree is the new Frontier-esque facility for post-game, and Ultra Beasts along with the Island Guardians are the new "sets" of legendaries.
Oceanic Operetta is so slow, I was mentally screaming dodge and how can this hit?

I CAN'T CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT!
Just finished the main story yesterday and I must say, the game is great. Music is top notch and the game fixes everything wrong with XY 3D maps. I still have some issues with the game, but overall, it's way better than XY, which feels now like a prototype.
Definitely worth the wait. Can't wait to start battling against players in the online mode.
Meanwhile, I guess I'll try to catch a shiny sandygast...
BTW, for those in competitive play, they are some nerfs and buffs here and there, so the metagame should be interesting this time around.
Also, I was playing on a normal 3DS, and there were slowdows here are there in the cities, but most of the time, it was at battles. Still, the FPS drop isn't that annoying. (but I guess this is why rotation and triple battles are gone)

No thank you. I've managed to avoid most spoilers for this as I was always going to get the game. Apart from the starters and something about alternate Pokémon forms I've been pretty successful.

@Ed_Fairway: I've been getting that vibe as well. Tamers/Season 3 was by far my favorite Digimon arc. The Ultra Beasts are one of the most interesting things in Sun/Moon for me, and I can't wait to see how they're incorporated into the story.

@Tyranexx Same here; it was written by the man behind Big O, and it introduced Beelzemon, hands down my favourite digimon for both design and character development. In fact, now that I think about, Gladion could be the Beelzemon of the game.
