30 fps, not going to bother.

Not interested in playing an inferior version of this game. It's best experienced on PC where it's true home is.

This was disappointing news as one of the "several diablo projects in the works" at blizzard.

Give us something new, not the same game on yet another console.

Titan Quest being $60 bucks might have something to do with it doing poorly. This is a game that is many years old and you can pick it up on steam for 10 bucks or less on sale.

Can't believe they thought charging $60 was a good idea. I laughed out loud when i saw the price in the store.

Honestly, mouse and keyboard is where it's at for games like this (look at their band aid solution for picking ranged targets...) for no other reason then item management.

Dealing with inventory lists in consolized ARPG's is dreadful.

This looks like it's just the base game. I assume that's to nickle and dime you later with Immortal Throne expansion.

Considering how old this game is (it was real good for it's time), his should be the Anniversary Edition that includes the sizable expansion.

Not a fan of the way they are handling ranged attacks with that ugly colored cone of fire.

The price point is way too high on this one. Deep discount.

Also, he didn't flee a spaceship, he runs from a facility deep in the jungles of Titan. Did the ppl making this even play the original?

It actually wasn't. It was a fully PC game, down to the isometric mouse movement and inventory management via a grid.

The console ports didn't come out till much later after the PC version hit retail and was a critical success financially.

It was a PC game first, before anything else.

Eventually this will be the norm. 3D is the natural way we perceive the world. It's only a matter of time where the technology makes this a reality in all displays (without glasses).

Much in the same way self-driving cars will be the norm in probably 20 years.

This isn't true. The fact it could be head mounted and has wireless controllers isn't the issue. Maintaining 90fps is. In order for proper head-tracking and to avoid sickness, you need to maintain a constant 90fps. You can get away with some dips with ATW but no way the Switch can handle than. The graphics would have to be PS 2 level.

I don't want any of those things besides:

Discord (Nintendo's voice chat system is garbage)
Proper Activity Tracker

The rest I have my phone for things like:
FB
Youtube
Google
Netflix (it's on every other device imaginable, you have better ways to view this content guys...)
Twitter (just ugh)
Etc.

This thing isn't a mobile phone or a computer, it's a console. We need VC way before you add the ability to watch Netflix on your 10th device you own.

Not impressed by this mini direct. Nothing in here I really care for except for maybe Fe.

the 3D effect was terrible and damn lazy in this game. Turned me off from playing it altogether.

This is better than a 6. Played this on PS4 like a year ago.

It's got a great art style, an over the top Mafia + zombies parody story. The main character is hilarious in his stereotype mafia Brooklyn voice.

Great game. It does have some annoying difficulty spikes, but overall great little gem.

You can't read. The game gives the ILLUSION it could appear on those old systems, but if you pay attention (which you clearly don't), you soon see it's full of modern conveniences.

There's nothing about this game that makes it ugly. It looks great, it captures the essence of those classics systems and yet plays like a modern game. It's fluid, beautifully animated and FUN.

You not liking an art style =/=ugly. Get over yourself.

It's getting torn down because I can pick this up on PC for $20.00 CAD instead of $50.00 CAD on the Switch Eshop. It's priced more than double. Sorry, but not a chance. I'll consider it at a deep discount down the line.

People like physical games man. I enjoy having the cart, box, etc. That said, I have a lot of eshop games too. This is a game that had physical releases on the other consoles so it's likely to happen for Switch too. At the insane price they are now asking on Switch, I don't blame people for waiting instead of buying it twice.

I'm not fan of the new art style. Something just feels missing from it. The mix of the new "comic" style art and the 3D models with cell shading kind of kill it for me.

They didn't have to do 8-bit like the NES games, but pixel art just with higher detail.

Gameplay will matter most, but my opinion is the new art style is a dud.

Visually, both artistically and animation wise, this looks very good. The price is also very reasonable.

The big problem with this story is that there was no Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal on the Switch.

In fact, several news articles were quick to point out that the Nintendo Switch was the most popular Black Friday item sold, despite the fact it wasn't even on sale.

Story seems fishy.

One of the big complaints was the lack of environments. How does the switch version address this and end up at a 9?
