At this point, it seems to have become a monthly tradition to ask Hideki Kamiya how the development of Bayonetta 3 is going for Nintendo Switch. So, how is it going?

In the latest issue of the Japanese publication Famitsu, the creator of the series was once again asked this same question during an interview about Platinum's recently released Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle. This time, he simply said it was progressing smoothly and also noted how there's a lot of hidden information in the original teaser announcement.

Bayonetta 3‘s development is progressing smoothly. Actually, there’s a lot of info hidden in the teaser announcement in 2017.

It seems not much has changed since Kamiya spoke to Famitsu at the start of this year when reassuring concerned fans the development was going very smoothly. Before this, in December, he said something similar. Rest assured, it's still on the way.

Although a release date for Bayonetta 3 hasn't been announced yet, PlatinumGames has said it has "several big announcements" to share early on in 2020. The developer is also planning to reveal a "major" announcement in next week's issue of Famitsu. Could it be tied to Bayonetta 3? Share your thoughts below.
