@sillygostly This Smash error appears to be isolated to US gamers right now, but anyone is vulnerable.

The same error code has shown up in the past on a number of occasions with different games and data corruption incidents, and the solution has been to send the system into Nintendo.

Personally, when errors like this occur, I play it safe and wait for Nintendo to patch the game, or the system.

On the plus side, this is great exposure for Nintendo Pocket Football Club. It's an awesome game with plenty of depth, and deserves all the attention it can get. I've personally spent 80 hours on it since it was released here in Australia. Overall, I think this release is a smart move by Nintendo prior to the holiday season, given how much passion there is for football (soccer) in the UK.

I would love to see Nintendo eventually give it a chance in the US given the rising interest in the game over there, and I also think a Wii U HD version of it at some stage would be neat. Just imagine watching your matches play out on the big screen.

@antdickens Wow, didn't even consider that! Hopefully this indicates some sort of future support for GC titles in general.

Will be great to just jump straight into the new Smash without having to work out the controls. Before this announcement I was obviously going with the Pro Controller option, though I had considered the Wii Remote and Nunchuk setup out of desperation (and familiarity).

Liam_Doolan commented on Review: Golden Sun (Wii U eShop):

For me, the original Golden Sun is up there with the likes of Yoshi's Island and Ocarina of Time. In other words - it's one of the greatest games I've ever played.

I had never really got into a JRPG prior to GS, but would have to say this game/series was the perfect introduction. It's absolutely charming from start to finish, and I might even have to award the sequel with an 11/10 due to its brilliant connection of the two storylines & parties, and epic finale.

If anything deserves an 8/10, I'd probably award it to the third entry in the Golden Sun series on the DS.

EDIT: Funnily enough, I just had a look at the Nintendo Life review of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, and it was awarded 8/10.

@King_Johobo Us Aussies (& New Zealand) should have access to all of these things as we're listed under the Euro release, and are even included within the European rankings.

@Ralek85 I think Nintendo are crazy if they don't release this game in America leading into the 2014 World Cup - especially now that it's localised, as you already mentioned. From what I read, the MLS is also doing pretty well over there, so I'm fairly sure many American Soccer fans wouldn't mind getting in on the action.

@ThomasBW84 Congrats, Tom! I'm only 20 days late - but better late than never.

Your efforts on Nintendo Life are outstanding! Although I'm still a relatively new face around here, I just want to say how much I appreciate the support you provide the team, and also thank you for the fantastic content you provide the NLife community with!

Liam_Doolan commented on Club Nintendo Australia Receives Luigi Coin An...:

@Jakeman Yeah, for anyone who wants the Hanafuda cards, my advice would be to get them while you can rather than wait.

That could be another factor in play with the diorama. Depending on the pricing, it may remain on the catalogue for some time (but I highly doubt it if it is limited stock).

Liam_Doolan commented on Club Nintendo Australia Receives Luigi Coin An...:

@Jakeman Best of luck! :)

I pretty much made the decision to at least get something this arvo (the Hanafuda cards) rather than nothing at all potentially.

Only problem is I am now most likely short on points for the diorama. Will still keep an eye out for it in hope.

Will give everyone the heads up here on Nintendo Life when it is released.

Liam_Doolan commented on Club Nintendo Australia Receives Luigi Coin An...:

@Jakeman I also missed out on the Year of Luigi coin. I was able to grab the Hanafuda cards, but I had the star points for both, so it's unfortunate I was unable to get the coin as well.

I'm not even sure if I've got enough points left for the Luigi's Mansion 2 Diorama. Though, I'll probably have one of those days where I don't find out it's been released until late in the evening, and then it'll be sold out anyway.

Really, the Australian version of Club Nintendo needs more stock and more offerings, more regularly.

Before missing today's coin, the only thing I had missed out on was the Golden Nunchuk. I was so devastated about that because I intended on creating a matching controller set with my limited edition Skyward Sword Wii Remote.
