@FGPackers Well, think of it this way. Would you rather have 200 side-quests that all turn out to be fetch quests with little to no world and/or character development, or 76 high quality quests that make you feel closer to the world you're exploring and those you're exploring with?

As I always say, it's quality over quantity.

Good God, this game was awesome. Beautiful environments, fun exploration, and actually made use of the gamepad. A recommendation to all Wii U owners.

The game honestly took me by surprise. I really enjoyed it. I hope because of its success, Nintendo will create more original IP's.

Despite who poorly the console sold, I'll never regret purchasing it. And i've still got games to purchase, like TMS, WW HD, Lego City Undercover, and Fast Racing Neo to name a few. I have a feeling I'll be playing with this console for a while.

Gotta say, I respect the developers for putting the main game as the primary focus, rather than keeping dlc in the mix while developing. I wanted to get the game last year, but purchased XCX, so i'll get the physical.

It makes sense that Nintendo would continue to support the 3DS. It has a huge install base and the games sell at a great amount (most of the time). People ask why their still supporting the system with the NX arriving, but we still don't know if it will be portable, home console, or the rumored hybrid.

Plus, the system is WAY TOO STABLE to be dropped.

@Mr_Zurkon Not necessary. There are some things talked about the previous games, but in the end, each main title is its own experience that doesn't need the previous titles to be played.

@StephenYap3 Do NOT purchase ZTD unless you played or have watched a "Let's Play" of 999 and VLR. There are spoilers for both games and makes the experience have less of an impact.

In all seriousness though, I don’t hate the game. I'm just disappointed it couldn't turn out better.

@Ashthearcher It's a good game, though pretty tough to get into if you're a newcomer like I was. If you're willing to give the time to understand the mechanics, you should have a great time. If you want a title that's more welcoming to newcomers, get MH4U.

Yeah, I can feel that stability. My 3DS was 1 mm off stability and it was driving me crazy. Finally, I can get that thing stable again.

I personally thought it was a great Direct. I enjoyed seeing TP, though I was greatly disappointed by it's look, but I'll still pick it up since I never got to own the Wii version.
Although short, it was great to see Zelda U once again, and can't wait for its release.
I personally will try and get the collectors edition of FE: Fates.
And seeing Cloud in smash was glorious! That was a true surprise to me.
I'm in general exited for all the other titles being released.

Yup. Fire Emblem is most likely coming out between March and June of next year on the Americas.
