This is the game that killed the series. Such a miss step for the series. Paper Jam was the last ditch effort to revive it before resorting to rereleasing the better earlier games. And now AlphaDream is dead. Oh well.
Clearly a lame attempt to take some shelved zombie script, slap some Resident Evil proper nouns in there, and hope the fan base eats it up because of the IP.
Just because Lovecraft was racist doesn't mean he was ONLY racist. He wasn't a one dimensional cartoon villain. Nuance can recognize that he was both racist and the progenitor of modern horror whose literary influence spreads far and wide. There's more to people than just their faults.
@Broosh I didn't mind 6 so much. It has its problems but playing co-op is fun for the meme glory. Except the Ada section, that was awful. But for the most part, better than Zero IMO.
I'm trying to play through all the ones I can before Village comes out. Its been a wild ride. I'm liking them quite a bit. Only Revelations 2 and 7 to go.
@mezoomozaa Christianity was the canon religion of the Zeldaverse until Nintendo created the "dont reference real religions" rule for Ocarina of Time. Then everything was retconned to be about the three goddesses and such. Also why the original version of Ocarina used an Islamic motif and Islamic chant music in the Fire Temple but was replaced in future prints.
You can read about the various other Christian references in other early Zelda games here.
They responded to the accusations of clout gathering with five pages of tweets filled with vitriol and slander proving that the hate they received was real.
@Danrenfroe2016 Indeed. The girl in the thumbnail for the trailer is almost exactly my wife's proportions. Thicc but still hour glass figured. Its not an unrealistic body type.
Atmosphere was excellent and the use of the Wiimote speaker was brilliant. Too bad the chase scenes existed. Wouldve worked better as just a creepy atmospheric walking sim.
I just beat it a couple days ago. The combat system isn't the best but exploring the world and experiencing the characters was such a joy. Highly recommend.
No one said to embrace open hatred. But if you can't see it, how do you know its there? And if you don't know its there, how can you change their minds? But I guess its easier to just have the government stamp it out so you can pretend you live in an idyllic paradise where you never have to confront the unsavory aspects in your fellow man. I'd rather be a part of the solution, thanks. Much more effective than pretending the government can do anything but increase tensions by limiting freedoms. Living in a free society comes with responsibilities to balance the freedoms. But I accept that.
Because freedom of speech for all is great. It keeps things open and honest and allows the light of day to expose who the terrible people are who would say such vile things and allow the reasonable people to change their minds or avoid them entirely. It leaves the freedom up to the people instead of some bureaucracy that can change its standards on a whim.
But for some reason, you wonder if those arguing for maximal freedom are secretly racist.
Thats great for you. Until the powers that be decide to extend their hand slightly further and further until your speech is no longer considered acceptable. Thats why no government should be allowed to censor. Your speech is acceptable until its inconvenient to those with more political power than you. At that point, you either become a liability to them or you willingly bow lower.
Thankfully, the US doesn't have that problem. At least in government.
There's a difference between a creator taking something offline for respect's sake voluntarily. For instance, when Death Road to Canada's Switch port got delayed after a Canadian terror attack.
And a hugely authoritarian government peddling censorship like this. Simply the Chinese government trying to tighten its already steel grip on its oppressed people who are suffering their own real life Plague Inc because the communists were too worried about social stability than to actually properly respond to the outbreak. And now we're 80k cases later, next to zero containment, and they're banning video games. Thanks for nothing Xi...
Why corporatize what is currently a grassroots community-led sport? Corporations lead to ossification and stagnation because they have to consult ten focus groups before doing anything. Imagine if Nintendo started supporting the scene and then they started laying down rules and conditions for that support that the pro players didn't like. "You want official Nintendo prize money? Well then you have to play all stages, all items, smash meters, stage hazards, etc." That would be the death knell of pro Smash. As long as it stays community-led, it can evolve as needed to keep being interesting and relevant.
I never liked this game. Got to maybe episode 2 or 3 on Steam and just couldn't keep going. I'm a fan of surrealism but...when there's a point. This game never seemed to have one.
@Racthet916 No one thinks these games are amazing if you just play them as is. Its the hidden story behind the games thats interesting and fun to explore. Its a game within a game.

@DarkTron Oh surely. Im happy with how it all worked out. Cavill is the man.
Re: The Witcher's Netflix Series Announces "Fifth And Final Season"
Lets not forget this was supposed to be seven seasons and now its five because Cavill singlehandedly tanked the show.

@meeto_1 Not true. The US Supreme Court ruled that hate speech isn't a legally recognized thing under US law.
Now we unfortunately do have billion dollar corporations attempting to moralize by limiting free speech all the time.
