Re: Anniversary: Super Smash Bros. Turns 21 Today

I remember asking my mum for Diddy Kong Racing and seeming disappointed when she bought this instead. (Not ungrateful, I was just a 5/6 year old that really wanted Diddy Kong Racing after renting it at Blockbuster!)
I started playing it and oh boy was I hooked.

Man...I'm getting old...

Re: UK Retailer GAME To Close 40 Stores In "Rationalisation Programme"

Massively overpriced! I only go in there now and then to get ideas for new games to play and see what's around.
I always buy elsewhere because why should I pay £5 - £15 more than Smyths or Amazon for example?

I'll always try to get a game in an actual store rather than online cause I wanna play it on the day, and there's a special feeling you get when you pick a game up in the shop that you just don't get when buying online!

Re: Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair Isn't A Direct Sequel To The First Game

The first game was fantastic. I get the bad feedback it has received but you have to set the Banjo Nostalgia aside for a moment and appreciate the game for what it was. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

When this was first announced, I was disappointed that it wasnt a 3D platformer, but after hearing that it's not a sequel and is just an extra game we're getting, I'm happy.
Can't wait for a true sequel though! It sounds like they're cooking something up!

Wouldn't it be amazing if it turned out that they've been working with Rare on Banjo remake/Banjo 3/Banjo in Smash, and that they wanted to release this so that they at least had some kind of YookaLaylee game out this year?

One can only hope!

Re: The Next DLC Fighter For Smash Ultimate Will Be Revealed At Nintendo's E3 Direct

@HobbitGamer that would be soo good
The seasons change in the background and effect the stage itself!

Spring could rain so much it creates a river that gushes through
Summer could create hotspots on the stage that cause heat damage, or bring out a load of bees that attack
Autumn could have those annoying birds around the stage
And Winter would be all slippery.

All while that music is looping over and over again.
Yes please.

Re: Ubisoft Will Not Release Any Additional Starlink Toys For Future Updates

I thought it was fun for a couple of hours but then I felt like it got a bit repetitive on each planet... There wasn't really much content....

The most fun part about this game I feel, was the Starfox content as well as being able to fly and battle through space...

I managed to get mine for £10 though so it's money well spent for that price!
