Anyway, it looks like a great game and it's a shame they push so aggressively for their account system. 🤷‍♂️

@KStowell1994 you can still skip the account requirement. Press A and when the login page opens in the browser, press X to close it. Then you're back in the game, and the B button becomes "maybe later".

Anyone else having performance issues? I only played handheld but there was some minor but obvious stuttering. Not a huge deal but not buttery smooth as the review implies.

Great games this week! I love Yoku's Island Express. If you haven't played it, it's worth it, especially with this discount. Dust: An Elysian Tail is another fantastic game which I've played on PC and I strongly recommend.

This was one of my favourite games back in the 8-bit/16-bit computer era. I don't care about the new 3D perspective, but the co-op mode looks great.

Fantastic games! I'm still considering whether I should get them for the Switch, as I've already played both on the WiiU. But the replay value is high with these games. The first one is also available on the PC.

I've already got in on the PC as a Kickstarter backer. I wasn't going to double-dip but since I'm going on a long vacation, I think it makes sense to get it on the Switch, which I'll take with me on my trip. I'm excited to play it on the go!

I wouldn't get my hopes up. My past experience with 2K was with the Bioshock remaster on PC and it still has a game-freezing bug that simply makes it impossible to play longer than 20-30 minute intervals. Contacting support wasn't too helpful either.

I didn't wait for the reviews. I pre-ordered a few days ago as every preview was very positive. As a Metroid fan, I know what I'll be playing from Friday onwards!

Nice one! I played the demo and I agree it is every bit as good as the original. I won't double dip, however. I loved the Wii U version, and I'll just stick with that.

It's not enough for WiiU owners who have both MK8 and Splatoon. I love both games and their Switch versions look like remasters. I may eventually get them both again, when I get the Switch, but that won't be soon.

@Shiryu really? Is that the final price, or just a placeholder? It's prohibitively expensive for me, even though I like Bomberman.

Looks like they copied some graphics from Super Metroid. The ground and the background patterns look exactly like SM.

Wow it looks like a new game, unlike Plague of shadows. No wonder it took them so long. I almost feel bad, if we're getting this for free. Although, I've already bought Shovel Knight for 3 platforms.

Looks good but I don't like the padding around the game area. It looks like they were developing it for mobile with virtual buttons and they just ported it over to 3DS. They should have done it the Shovel Knight way and use the whole screen. I'm not against the Retro graphics style, but wasting half the screen space is a bit ridiculous, I think.

Couldn't wait. Got it on Steam when it was on sale. Might double dip when it's on sale on the eShop.

Great, I used to play Pang a lot back then. The only thing that bothers me is the wasted screen space. I'm fine with emulating old graphics, but that's a bit too far. I prefer the Shovel Knight/Mutant Mudds approach.

I missed the chance to play Wario Land: The Shake Dimension last gen. Now is a good time to get it at half the price.

Is it me, or the web eShop does not work correctly on Chrome? I couldn't find a way to login to www.nintendo.co.uk with the new Nintendo account. After switching to Firefox it worked and I could download Flipnote Studio 3D.

I'd rather get the 3DS version. It suits the small screen better and it's nice to have it on the go.

These kind of games are very common on mobile. I'm guessing by creating these games (Captain toad and Star fox guard), they get more experienced with the kind of mobile games they are going to release.

Great games, but after finishing both on the 3DS I have no reason to play them again on the WiiU. Backlog's long enough as it is.

@manu0 not the first. All the previous 3D Zeldas were running at 30fps. The N64 ones, maybe lower.

Human Resource Machine for me. If you don't have Zack & Wiki, I highly recommend it!

@Nintendian it's not like it's action-heavy, though, as it is a turn-based game. I'm guessing 30fps won't matter much in this game. That said, it's nice to have better performance on the New 3DS.

I adore this game. I, too, play it about once a year and it never gets old or boring. I'd love to play a new 2D/2.5D Metroid game.

Finally, I've been waiting for this! Probably my most favourite indie game of all time.
