Re: I'll Take Zelda And Mario Over Sharing Call Of Duty With Sony And Microsoft, Says Reggie Fils-Aime

There are over 450 titles for the system. With plenty of variety. I wasn't talking about just Nintendo developed titles. I was quite specific too. But you see and read what you want to believe. Unless your only hobby is gaming,(pathetic it may be) that's plenty of time to indulge in games. Simple mathematics would say so. Go back (stay in) to school. You undoubtedly need it. Your opinion is severely misguided.

Incredible wrong on so many levels. Nintendo is a brand or genre of their own. Miyamoto believes this as well, has publicly stated so. He's much more credible regarding the industry than you are kiddo. Creating a very different model for themselves is what makes any company stand out. The console has plenty of variety, whether you think so is completely subjective, when the games out there prove otherwise. Quit spreading bull. Stay off the internet. On to next one...

I can't recall whether I played the Nintendo 64 version, but melee takes an abundant amount of skill to master. I recall going to a friends house one day and seen the Nintendo 64 for the first time and I never even heard of it. Speaks volumes on Nintendos marketing ability even to this day. And I was an avid gamer since I was five. And I'm certain the system has been out for a while because he had plenty of games.

Re: Mario Kart Month: Nintendo Life's Team Shares Its Early Thoughts on Mario Kart 8

I can't recall where I read this but I totally agree that Future teams need to show progress on how, why, when I unlock new karts, characters, etc. This invisible unlocking is lazy and unpredictable to the user. They are on track with the coin collecting feature, but it's not quite realized.

Controls are remarkable. Item balance is truly surprising. I say surprising because Nintendo can be arrogant on elements they believe are already suitable or prefect.

Music is actually a letdown. I'm a big music fan and can't begin to think of one track that had tunes worth tapping my foot to or humming after hearing it. Not to say it's hateful, but not top quality.

Highlight reel is pretty damn cool but has awkward camera angles.

New tracks are fantastic. Visuals are a beauty on the 55". Overall great game 8/10.

this is for those individuals that are skeptical about 2016 release..you all realize we're already 5 months completed into this year. There hasn't been a release date announced for one of Nintendo biggest franchises. .zelda. That title has to be at least on the shelf for one year. If it is released in january 2015, it's possible other titles will have release dates in early 2016. This is just a damn decent guess.

@midnafanboy

why make a decision like that when barely anything has been shown? Premature thinking and foolish. I haven't played any sonic games since the genesis but from that trailer it seems to be far more diverse than anything I've seen from sonic games in the past 10 years.

Re: Preview: Mario Kart 8

looks great. but the one thing I despise about all Mario karts is once I finish the other racers automatically finish in the positions from when I cross the finish line. If I want a CPU character to finish 4th or later to help with the overall standings, it wont happen. extend the race afterwards and let characters finish, except for the last place finisher.

Own two that aren't on the list. Assassins creed 3 & Tekken TT2. Own five that are. Nintendoland, P3, W101, LofZ WW, 3d World. Sold Darksiders 2 because it was too damn good and couldn't stop playing it. Just like Xenoblade Chronicles.

Re: NPD Data Shows More U.S. Gamers Switching to Downloads

It makes more sense in terms of convenience. I have just sold most of my tv seasons on dvd and half of my films because the format is obsolete so I might as well get some decent cash now. I have films and tv shows galore on my external harddrive, I plug that into my bluray players usb and the ease of access to everything works just like my 6 disc cd changer in my truck a dozen years ago. still feels nice loading a physical game into the tray though. : )
