@NewAdvent I disagree. The beauty in this game/app is that it is bare-bones. The fact that it is bare-bones is what makes it so popular. We don't need an in-depth game. This is a simple pick up and play mobile game that is just "deep enough." Just needs some UI tweaks, performance issues and they can roll out more mons and we are dandy. Oh and trading to help that whole social aspect. The battling system and catching mons being simple is key to retaining what massive user-base Niantic has accumulated. People will leave the game if it was too "complicated" or nuanced in terms of gameplay mechanics.
GoldenEye 007. The game that still has more history to tell. Never once tired of reading about this game and Rare's stories for that matter. The Rare N64 golden era was legendary.
This is what I don't like. That Nintendo sacrifices performance to render 2 screens at once. I would rather have full performance on one screen than really stretch it to two.
@Uberchu Nintendo should release a Pikachu plate for it on the "non-XL" one. Would be nice to swap out the Charizard/Blastoise plates to get Pokémon Yellow some love.
Hmmm. I have all these except for Mario Party: Island Tour (I have it digitally tough). Fabulous seeing All-Stars make the cut for the fans that missed it the first go.
@UnseatingKDawg Seriously a problem with Toys "R" Us being the worst when it comes to exclusives. They never had Greninja properly either and I don't like the in-store option only. I never got the Mega Yarn Yoshi (in fact the only one I am missing).
An article on GoldenEye will always get us excited. Never does it cease to amaze. The details this game had was many. One of my favorites was how stellar the sound design was; pay attention to the ricochet sounds when shooting a wall. If I remember correctly, they vary at random.
@Red_Meowth Yes please. Vinyls are great collector pieces even if you don't own a player, though. The perfect square, the large size; practically posters begging to be placed on the wall.
As great as the Wii U Pro Controller is, I think it can be improved a bit. The main face buttons are a little too small and tall; I want them wider. The triggers are not really triggers and don't feel that stable; mushy a bit. And please no gloss surface. I played a lot of Mario Kart 8 exclusively with it and the sticks are fine.
@Captain_Gonru Yeah I had the first one wish-listed; I guess I can skip that one according to the review. Tried this out and it is a great companion to the free Flipnote Studio 3D. Just doodling around is fun.

@DarthNocturnal Bring Pokémon Pinball (GBC) to VC!

Re: Feature: Thoughts on the 3DS as It Reaches Its Fifth Anniversary
Yes. That Pikachu edition is my favorite 3DS variant (probably favorite non-Game Boy variant too). I Will never get rid of it.
Re: Review: Pokémon Red and Blue (3DS / GB)
What?! No 10/10?
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th February (North America)
All the Pokémons! Oh yeah, also got that Gold Mega Man.

Re: New North American Nintendo Selects Range Emerges in Retailer Listings
@dominick4 I heard it had quiet restocks a few months ago.
Re: USK Listing Reveals Picross 3D: Round 2 for Europe
Looks physical to me. Want it confirmed though.

Re: Video: Check Out the Introduction to the Jet Force Gemini Game That Never Was
Man Jet Force Gemini. Needs a sequel. Badly.
Re: Natsume Is Selling Vintage Factory Sealed Stock Via Its eBay Store
control-f "harvest moon". Disappointed.
Re: Feature: A Celebration of HAL Laboratory - Forever Focused on Fun
@LemonSlice Seriously, probably my favorite logo ever. All sorts of charm, cuteness, and oddity.
Re: Zelda: Link Between Worlds Figma Link Is Here, And The Desire Is Real
@Spin haha that is correct; tho I like Winnie the Pooh too. And um honey. A lot.
Re: Review: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Wii U eShop / SNES)
@MikeW That lack of US release; I find disturbing.
Re: Feature: A Celebration of HAL Laboratory - Forever Focused on Fun
Best logo of a company ever.
Re: Feature: Five Star Wars Games, on Nintendo, That Are Strong in the Force
Racer and Rogue? I highly agree. Also a shame that Force Unleashed did not live up to its true potential. Man do I miss Factor 5..
Re: Video: Behind The Scenes On The GameCube Star Wars Rogue Leader Games
@DarthNocturnal These games deserve re-releases badly; Rogue Leader was brilliant and the Death Star opening was pretty much filmic.
Re: Super Mario Galaxy May Arrive on the North American Wii U eShop on 24th December
@HyrulianOfHyrule You and me both. You and me both.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo is Right to Move On From the Wii Family Name With NX
@shigulicious Well, the Wii U is unofficially GameCube 2.
Re: Mario History: Mario Kart 64 - 1997
@Nico07 You mentioned DKR; you win. I do like MK64 aplenty, though I think DKR was the better overall title.

@Red_Meowth Yes please.

Re: Mario History: Super Smash Bros. - 1999
Iwata's genius was all over this title; Sakurai-san you still get love!
Re: Review: G.G Series SCORE ATTACKER (DSiWare)
@mitchvogel I have to probably buy all these G.G series games; is this the last one? I have not done my research.
Re: Review: Devil's Third (Wii U)
@Zach777 I hear you; what a tease.
Re: Bowser and Toad Wii Remote Plus Controllers Heading to Europe on 20th November
There was a Yoshi variant of these that never came to USA.
Re: Soapbox: It's A Tragedy That Rare Replay Isn't On A Nintendo Console
"Star Fox Adventures is also understandably absent - although many won't lament that fact." Hey now, I really liked this game!
Re: Anniversary: The Virtual Boy Is 20 Years Old Today
@DrDingus Yes. A bundle is a great idea.

@Ichiban The packaging alone with that clear window is pretty slick.
Re: Review: Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (Wii U eShop / GBA)
So when are we getting the much lauded Harvest Moon 64?
Re: EarthBound Director Shigesato Itoi Pays Tribute to His Friend Satoru Iwata
@FernandoMachado so I am not the only one who has not played EarthBound; whew.
Re: Dark Pit and Palutena amiibo Are Retailer Exclusives in North America
Surprised it took this long for Amazon to step into the exclusive game. That said, I have a strong feeling Palutena will be easy to buy.
Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55
A terrible terrible fate; my only words.
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Wii U eShop / N64)
Came here saw the 10 and smiled. Expected nothing else for the #1 greatest game ever developed. One cannot own this game enough times!
Re: Video: This Official Art Academy Timelapse of Mario and Luigi Should Warm Up Your Summer
I would buy a print of this; truly beautiful artwork. Or as @Blast says, bring on that Super Mario Sunshine sequel!
