The gimped tablet is an abomination.it can run barely indie crap, no third party ports of major series and the nintendrones are happy when they get 720p@30FPS, if not below, in 2022... If you remove mario, splatoon and Zelda, absolutely nothing decent remains. everything else is remastered, indies and 3rd ports released years ago on other systems while running better.
As I already mentioned, FIFA legacy, "Cloud Edition" of RE or Kingdom Hearts are the perfect demonstration of why everything is wrong with the switch hardware design.
BOTW is one of the greatest open world game ever released, but unfortunately completely crippled by the weak tablet while the WiiU version run in full 60FPS, HDR and 4k on opensource emu.
I wish they release two seperate systems. one tablet for the hipsters, an one standard console without all the useless gimmicks, like Sony did back in the days with the PSVita TV. Lets pray the new Tegra SoC will bring 60FPS@1080p, which is the bare minimum.

LOL. I do not care what the Wii FIT fanbase enjoys or not. They are completely irrelevant when it comes to gaming.
But I will be honest, I'm frustrated on how weak the switch is and how gimped everything is on nintendo consoles for 3 generations in a row. input lag, low framerate, PS3 quality ports, and I will not talk about the terrible reliability in comparison of the N64 or the SNES. I will go back now clearing BOTW in 4k on my PC and my SNES games on my Analogue SuperNT

60FPS would be perfectly feasible on a portable system if nintendo decided to do so, even a cheap android smartphone can do it. But no, nintendo just scrapped decent hardware and smooth gameplay for gimmicks and indies crap and it sell well to hipsters and zoomers. we will never have a decent console like the SNES ever again.

First party Games on the Switch are great, everything else are useless indie games released years ago on PC or terribly crippled ports. It is almost unbelievable we still have to worry if games will run @ 60 fps in 2022. All games should run @60 & 1080p. I really hope nintendo will release something a bit more decent than their gimped tablet and stop the gimmicks. They have no excuse.

They better do.lol. The Wii U versions were Yakuza 1 and Yakuza 2, upscaled version from the PS2 with almost 0 graphic improvement.
Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1, 3, 4, 5 Remaster could maybe
run on the swich @ 30 fps as they just are upscaled PS3 games.

Nintendo went the cheap route with the joycon analogue controller.
The positive thing, is you can literally buy a set of 4 for 10$ on Amazon and replace them by yourself. They are identical to the genuine controllers and even better as they do not produce the annoying spring noise. I replaced the left one on a brand new switch lite because of that insufferable spring defect.

If you don't mind graphics in low 720p/ 30fps(LOL), then its a good port. I forgot, human eyes cannot see the difference between 30 and 60fps /s

Then they should provide a way to download and backup these games so I m able to continue to play with them.
They created an emulator in the SNES/NES Classic, nothing stop them to provide their own emulators and roms download.
GOG.com sell and provide download option for thousand of indies and AAA oldies and they do it without any DRM. You paid your game, you keep it, even if the site goes down. simple as that. no DRM bs.
