I'm in two minds about this game, never played a pikmin game before but the videos have caught my attention. The problem is that the gameplay looks like its a real love it or hate it kindof a game. So not sure whether to invest the time in it, but then it looks kindof cool. See two minds!

Game.co.uk has Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 for £34.99 each retail, I expect this is a better deal but full marks for effort.

I really like the sound this I'm hoping it lives up to games like fez, limbo and braid. It sounds like the potential is there to me.

I would have like more info on a new Zelda, starfox and metroid then I would be so worried about the lack of 2014 3rd party games. Still a massive step in right direction and on par with sony and mircosoft

So on a professional basis only why put this out a week before E3. I don't care how connected he says he is, he's not that connected. Plus everyone on every website is hating on the xbone so why does predict they will do as well as Sony.

Take as long you need as long as it plays in 60 fps unlike the original ps3 version

well said but often naive people with strong ideals are mistaken for trolls when really they are just ever so slightly miss-ballanced in their opinons. Sometimes a little bit of debate can make them research their statements a little more.

@HeatBombastic I couldn't agree more I'm there are gems I haven't played that won't get a re-release and the second hand market is the only place to get hold of them. As they are normally highly praised but only manage modest sales.

@Yamagushi pretty sure the only people winning here are Microsoft and the publishers consider Microsoft is NOT allowing Indies to self publish. So most devs will be on fixed rate contracts and will probably appreciate anyone playing the game that will take the time to stop and check out the desk they spent hours on that most people just walk past.

@Yamagushi ok I'll give you another example. I played the dead space demo and hated it. My mate brought the full game and said it was amazing(he trades everything in) said I could have for a tenner which was less than the trade in. I played it, loved it (still own it) and went out and brought Dead Space 2 brand new. Did EA loose out? Or did they gain a fan? I assure you I'm not the only one. The bioshock was a steelbook and I still own it.

Example one: recently brought mh3u by trading in games that weren't keepers. Example two: Wasn't sold by original bioshock a friend handed me his copy and insisted I player it. Ran out after 1 hour and brought a copy.

Wouldn't be shocked if you could buy you fee over the counter from game retailers and only private second hand sellers miss out. Still think Microsoft drop the ball and agree simple is better. I don't even watch tv or talk to random objects so I'm not sold.

I'm never going to be an advocate for this flick but I kindof respect his point of view. I don't think he should be ashamed or anything and considering the stick he must of got the fact he is willing to do the intro shows his character.

After watching the hobbit the week I've come over all middle earth. So I will be trying war of the north on ps3. If that doesn't grab me I will play the hobbit on ps2. But under no circumstances will I play lord of the rings conquest on the 360 because its rubbish.

Half of my Xbox games are not backwards compatible on my 360! Anyway back to the WiiU yep use it, love it. I love the fact you get the whole menu not just disc support. Think Xbox one and ps4 are less appealing as a result

Harsh but fair. Great game and a good solid review.

Even though the only good cod is 4 for which was for its day was ahead of its time. It is really important the WiiU gets this especially is the PS4 and Xbox one are highly priced and Nintendo bring out the big guns (Mario 3D and Kart) we need console sales.

Wow that was faster than I expected that U-turn, mind you the "excitment" for the new consoles does seem a little muted to me.

@Trikeboy The old codemaster games were brillant but they were also available on the floppy disc Amiga and Atari systems.

A C64 uses cassett types like in a walkman. The games take around 30mins to load. If I'm honest you didn't miss much.

I still own a gameboy and game gear I had a limited edition final fantasy 7 PSP for a while and i did always want an Atari Lynx but to be honest I'm not a massive handheld fan probably not the smartest thing to say on a Nintendo based website with the popularity of the 3DS right now.
