I own 20 consoles and an arcade machine do I get a prize!

The problem with the Eshop, Xbox marketplace and pan in the digital games cost more than the retail
I could pick up the new resi for £32 retail or download it for £39.

I know FIFA players and all they do is play FIFA. They buy one game a year Fifa and they play it on the playstation because the controller hasn't changed in 15 years. They are mono-gamers and they don't change their habits or play Nintendo lol

@banacheck because you can not predict the future and they have been working on it for years. With increased power comes increased development costs my point was activison has to be able to easily port a game to multi-formats and not miss any system out for development to remain viable. You may have noticed Ubisoft doing the same thing

Could Activision be hedging its bets. Maybe its seen what next box and ps4 has on offer and its not convinced they will fly off the shelves.

Graphics have nothing to do with sucess remember the N64 and GC more powerful than the Sony equivalents and massively less successful.

Hmm not sure I agree with Capcom's modest support as arguably the are the only 3rd party to release a "system seller" albeit a modest increase in sales

I have Splinter Cell and Watch Dogs on pre-order for the WiiU I would also pre-order the new rainbow six if they announced it was coming to the console. I probably own close to 20 Ubisoft games so yes I am both an Ubisoft and a WiiU fan so I'm happy they are supporting the WiiU. I love Nintendo games but variety is the spice of life.

At least we know what is said behind closed doors at EA.

I'm a big fan of the Ghost Recon franchise but even if they did cancel it I'd understand due to the limited install base and cost of the online services. They are actively supporting the console its not like I'd rage cancel my ubi pre-orders or anything.

Same day as splinter cell you'd think they would stretch the games out a bit. I'm not complaining though more games are always welcome

@NinjaWaddleDee did the same thing played the demo didn't like it but then I brought it and I'm addicted. I had the same thing with dead space and blue dragon. Sometimes demo's damage game sales!

@Shiryu ha it was actually the size of the box and the cover art that sucked me in and made me hand over my birthday cash. Good effort on figuring out the game its no mean feat.

I actually brought the version on the SNES that came with the guide. Oh the shame I've felt all these years finally shared thanks social mediums I couldn't have imagined back then!

EA were like cool for a year when they were green lighting games like Mirror's edge. We are missing on respawn entertainments new game then which would probably use its own engine not frostbite.

Amiga games should be on the WiiU VC. Games like putty squad are a good fit( in my opinion)

Really looking forward to this I miss pure turn based RPG's and a western take on the easten genre can work really well shadow madness and secret of evermore a great examples of this. PS love the art style its like bioshock anime.

Activision business model of late is to only produce large scale big sellers. The 3DS didn't take off quickly, the vita didn't take if quickly, the WiiU didn't take off quickly yes i see a pattern here and if i was activison I'd be changing that model.

@Sentinator well said can't wait to see the look on peoples faces when they find out how much AAA titles will cost on the PS4 due to increased development cycles/effort. Why do people think they taking about free to play games and micro-transactions! Also if graphics are the be all and end all why are 3rd screen devices so successful.

The article hit the nail on the head. I do feel like the games are bit random after a long wait I expected more popular titles. They should have hit us with Super Mario World 2. Now that I think about it have any super FX games been released in the vc considering the snes was just a power supply for the cart?
