"Its a non-issue because there's such a practice behind it to not warrant great dismay and/or panic. "

Hope you dont erase your account and dissapear when first sales numbers are in (yes, as usual, first 2 weeks gonna be great, yes, im sure they will beat the PS Vita on the selling charts and NL will highlight it with big graphs pointing up)... then later, when the fanboys have no more money power and reality has to keep Nintendo alive... fantastic.

Anyway, if the fan opinion is like this and Nintendo follows it .. why not all together run Nintendo into the ground and tell everyone how great it is... once they buy this, experience it and look at their bill compared to their neighbors PS4 Pro/XBox 1 S ... thats it.. same it was with the Wii U .. why it should be different?

Ah right.. u got ONE roleplaying game a launch (oh sure, please spend another 50 euro on freaking BOMBERMAN .. i prefer the sega saturn version for free)... and you have 2.5 battery life on it.. and you have 900p .. ok, im convinced now

Same as everyone on here was claiming "oh no, the new 3ds is sooooo much nicer.. blabla".. great 200 straight into the garbagebin... thats Nintendo.

In 6 months, u have the "Switch Local" or whatever, once they realize that nobody cares about the fake mobility and it will be like a 2DS from 3DS without the fake mobility.. and why even not? like any of you would even use the joke battery ..and when u dont, why not use a proper console anyway.

This will end badly but anyway, considering the technology of Nintendo today, im sure they can release a Zelda BOTW 4K version on the PS4 and Xbox and doublecheck with their clients

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

@Jeremyjones12992 Sorry to interrupt but reading that "statement" reminds of communism propaganda... so, lets say for a moment, you and everyone else does not live in Nintendo world... i mean, you dont say prayers to mario and hug your plush yoshi before bedtime... ok - so - can you please actually point out what u mean by "MUCH" better marketing? like what? message in a bottle? You were in coma during the Wii U launch? But ok ok ok ... all great, lets say your lsd trip is reality ..so you are trying to say that "at least it has ONE great game at launch" ... what is this? The scientology switch? You think its "sane" to spend that money as an average videogaming fan? To play one freaking game when I can get the PS4 Pro for same price? (yea, i count the pro controller in switch price cause nobody serious will use that overpriced plastic joy cons for gaming... great for kids, yea)...

At times im not sure if "opinion" like yours is even real .. i think its paid chills .. else, in what kind of world are you living in? You rich? your parents are rich? you dont care about how much u spend on water cause u drink it?

Awful .. but another great post for the fake review collection on here

EDIT: keep on going and run Nintendo fully into oblivion... great job so far.. piss off everyone... when u get to parents, u hit the core

Re: Guide: Nintendo Switch Launch Day Shopping List: Micro SD Cards, Controllers And Accessories

ironside1911

I think they forgot the latest premium accessoire to boost your battery life close to half the range of the 3DS. Looking at whats missing to get going smoothly, another 300 euro wont hurt anyone.

Untitled

It attaches nicely on the back of the switch and you can carry it around like a ghostbusters pack. For another 49,95, you can buy the car-adapter cables and use it also for your car.

Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd March (North America)

ironside1911

"Nintendo Switch Parental Controls (Nintendo, free) - This app will allow parents to connect to the Switch and adjust the allowed playtime for youngsters on the system, along with some other handy options."

this "app" sounds more fun "to play" (for free) than the highly anticipated launch title "Just Dance 2017" (for 50 bucks)

Re: Friend Codes Are Back on Nintendo Switch, But There Are Other Options

ironside1911

Wait, ... this has to be a joke,

Search for Local Users
Search for Users You've Played With
Search with Friend Code
'Friend Suggestions' from Miitomo and Super Mario Run

This literally means, I cant just add people? I cant do what every freaking device on the planet allows me? I have to follow the stripped-down-akward-anti-social connection path to play .. again ... yep, perfect. Why you dont call it 1-2-DOA. Makes sense why the online features were not even activated before or free to review before launch... AWFUL

.. this will end up worse than the Wii U if they really think they can ignore everything.... awful.. simply awful.... I honestly thought it was a no-brainer this time to allow everyone to connect in any way they want and just play online with random people. Surreal decision Nintendo, happy selling that.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

@akaDv8R Nice, but perhaps you might want to doublecheck with Nvidea and/or Nintendo on your research work.

4K support on the switch? While the marketing aspect of it is funny, where did they "outline" the 4K capabilities? (AS A POSSIBILITY - its not even INTEGRATED yet and there is NO confirmation it will be - yes, NO confirmation, look it up).

You think they wouldnt try any sort of 4K from the get-go instead of offering Zelda at 900p with partly choppy 30 fps?

The 4K idea is a gimmick ... while you are right, the games are upscaled to 4K in the Playstation but if you want to follow more of that logic, why not get the xBOX one S for even LESS and that allows u to even play UHD-Blurays ... either way you put it, the switch is an overpriced gagdet.... i liked the example someone wrote about an fisher price adult toy.

You might want to check this for your 4k research:

http://gizmodo.com/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-nintendo-switchs-garbag-1791339361

Its wishful thinking... its like someone bought a nice little Kia-Car, lots of extras, nice shinny color, usb on the radio, a cute little wheel ... and then next to a SUV at red lights you realize what u actually have.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

@Romeo-75 Keep on laughing when you think Nintendo can survive by releasing retro consoles.. lol..sure they can, they will just have to lay off 80% of their staff and start producing games for other consoles.

Its not like because people buy their keychains, they can just "produce some" whenever they have a bad period. The core business is a proper console on which they sell their games ... bad consoles sales = bad games sales = game over ... even when they release the SNES, Gamecube, N64 mini versions at once.. thats a whole different financial league. How much you think they made with the NES mini?

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

Would be funny to see Microsoft & Sony soon releasing a "PS-TAB" and "X-TAB", virtually just a Tablet connected to your console and network and it lets you stream all your games at home, connect your controllers etc... and if they want to charge more than 79 for it, they could include some nice hardware and get games running at e.g. lower resolution/less effects but still on the go.

Not sure why I think that, but considering how quickly they jumped on the Wii controller functions, both are technically capable to have one ready within 3 months.. provided the switch proves itself popular.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

@KirbyTheVampire Its not about what is now, I was indicating it by saying the PS4 PRO power is noticable when the games are optimized for it but largely they are not. They will be in the future Im sure. The automatic "improves" like framerates or 4K is just part of the stronger hardware, but they are not optimized.. its more like a PC where the hardware detects something where it can run the game at different settings.

I guess our main point to disagree is simply the price. I hold the opinion that people do care about how they invest money (as shown by Nintendo offering 2DS, or trimmed down versions, e.g. why even offer different storage options?). People care about money, same way they decide to either get e.g a 500gb version of the PS4 or a 1TB one...theres a reason both are out.

But yep, as mentioned and I guess most agree, it would be a shame to fail for Nintendo and I want them to continue, but I continue to have a feeling this will only pick off when the price drops and they dont interfere with Sony/Microsofts pricesegments.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

@KirbyTheVampire Its a weird way to put it when saying its a "barely" noticeable performance boost. You should keep in mind that most games previously released on the PS4 are not optimized for the PRO and the PRO itself is capable of doing much better than regular PS4 games. I assume a quick look on the technical specs will also show you that its a big boost instead of a "barely" noticable improvement.

E.g. PS4 - 1.6GHz AMD Jaguar / PS4 Pro 2.1 GHz AMD Jaguar
GPU (the very important part) PS4 1.84 TFLOP Radeon, PS4 Pro 4.2 TFLOP Radeon

and yes, on top 4K resolution (the switch at home doesnt even manage full HD)

I do believe, as you say, that there is a market for the switch but my point is just what Im getting for the money and I just dont believe Nintendo is doing themselves a favor here,.

Theres simply not enough right now (imo) to convince people to buy it.. as you indicate yourself, not even many games to chose from at start. In that scenario I would lower the price as much as possible and disguintish myself from competition...

I get it that its Nintendos last chance and I want to see them continue in the console business... but Im not alone with doubts when looking all over the (major) review sites.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

@KirbyTheVampire Well, I was talking about the PS4 PRO Version, which has been released some months ago. Thats the weird thing - the PS4 alone (as old as it may be) beats the Switch in every hardware department and functionality. The PRO itself is just a different dimension compared to the Switch and yep - pricewise, dont know how Nintendo will market that.

Put a Switch up at Toys R US for 330 plus 70 controller and 65 zelda - running at unstable 30fps at 900p.. against a PS4 PRO running whatever you want. I have a hard time believing people are convinced of the switch when comparing the prices.

I would go as far as claiming the PS4 PRO would be able to "emulate" the whole switch ... but thats just me.

Anyway, when it hits 199 euro and they have released the v3 or whatever remodeled slim bla version with improved battery life, improved pad connectivity, basic build in features such as browser and apps...then it will be interesting.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

ironside1911

"Time to make the Switch?"

Definatly not at this price currently. 330 plus 70 for the pro controller and 65 for Zelda... right.

Weird strategy, will be interesting to see the sales numbers soon considering the combined price of the above reflects a Playstation 4 PRO with controller and game of your choice.

The mobility feature is also more a gimmick ...2 hours with Zelda and time to recharge, really good..... More like a mobility-teaser than actual feature if you dont have a car battery as keychain along.

Its a fun gagdet (would sell well for 199 including a game), but if you demand that kind of prices you will be rated for what you offer and thats poor compared to the competition. Anyway, soon we will know.

Re: GameSeek States It'll Keep Selling Nintendo Switch for £198.50 Up to Release

ironside1911

@Dangerous25 Right, right to you, right to everyone. Right to the world of blindness... NO! .. sorry, ... right to happiness... enjoy .. "of course u dont say what people have to buy" (and all the rest of u) .... perhaps u misunderstand one thing about me, and thats this:

I will not pretend to be a hippie hugging trees when i see an offer too good to be true only to be ripped and continue the hippie life of "dont worry, theres another star coming for u"

this is pure money and financials and u shouldnt think of world with nintendo plush toys.

I really dont get it.. whats missing from all the signs? Is it too much? Still nobody managed to find an "established" (who used that word on here? haha) company with worse ratings overall than gameseek?

Right now, this deal and this whole discussion is seperating reality from fanboy dreams (same fanboy dreams that ran Nintendo into the ground... look up my previous PREDICTIONS)

sometimes i really dont get it.. are you even a real person? thats the stuff u seriously want people to "wish good luck" for? Go and freaking use that money for a good cause.

Re: GameSeek States It'll Keep Selling Nintendo Switch for £198.50 Up to Release

ironside1911

@Dangerous25 Not sure whats odd about pointing all warning signs out. But sure, why not play money russian roulette and pray for happiness ..in march we will know and until then, those who preordered and are worried now, dont worry, just check the 4-page thread on AVForums on them.

Doesnt get better than this

In case you get ripped, you might want to contact some over there who were considering going to court.

Untitled

Its so weird, no? All people report similar stuff. Preordered stuff and never got it .. hmm, yea, and thats just regular games. So for sure, launch day, thousands will get their switch 80 quid off .. yes.

I think the same day they deliver the consoles, they will also personally take the time to set it up for you, one by one, and on top, play a few games with everyone to celebrate the good deal (the gameseeks representative will also bring drinks and some fingerfood). Then, in the afternoon, Gameseek will organize a trip with everyone who preordered the switch with them, they will pick up everyone from their homes with a bus and you will enjoy a great big party, free food & drinks ... fireworks at the end and just so that you will always remember how well all went, they arrange a photoshoot where everyone together holds up their switches and smiles ... they even frame the picture for everyone.

So get ready for the biggest bargain launch in history - coming up live in march.

Re: GameSeek States It'll Keep Selling Nintendo Switch for £198.50 Up to Release

ironside1911

@Dangerous25 Hahah, show me ONE with such a bad negative rating all over ALL MAJOR review site. Just one... and come on, you live in reality, no? I can only speak with common sense, for myself and with enough experience to call BS when I see it... and on launch day, you can edit your posting into "sorry in case someone ordered based on my positive experience" .. "Gameseek scam" is a fun game to play on google, try it.

Re: GameSeek States It'll Keep Selling Nintendo Switch for £198.50 Up to Release

ironside1911

@Fitkong Sure, sure, for every fake review you might find, theres stuff like this, even with nice detailed story and pictures:

Superb Gameseek practises

Im not saying that they ripped off everyone but that here is the example of insurance companies ... 10 people complain, 5 give up, 3 battle and get a refund, 2 go to court and win .. in the end, company wins overall.

This story here sure makes them look even more reputable.

One more satisfied customer

Untitled

I know, people just love bargains .. but Im doing you a favor here. Just wait until release day and high five all those happy ones that preordered with them.

Re: GameSeek States It'll Keep Selling Nintendo Switch for £198.50 Up to Release

ironside1911

@jamesRainbowBoy Yes, its called "common sense" - there should be a pretty good summary on wikipedia to look up.

People believing in this to be real are probably the same kind who fall for the "make 2000$ a day from your home" ads.

Anyway, heres another hint why all this will go down as a scam.

Amazing Reputation - money in good hands

Lots of happy customers - and you think when they already have issues with 30$ amounts, they will ship switch units with a loss for a publicity stunt? If they would care about any publicity they wouldnt mess up with so many people. They dont care about their reputation. Pretty hard to find a company with worse reviews than that one.

Untitled

Everybody had a great experience but the best, im sure, is yet to come with the 30% off switch units.

Re: Miitomo Version 2.2.0 Can Now Be Downloaded

ironside1911

"What do you think? Are you glad to see these changes?"

These Miitomo "updates" are like some sort of delusion. Reminds me of horror movies, the kind where you have a crazy person living with a dead person pretending he/she is alive.

Every update for this disgrace of a Nintendo product is another moment of "Oh no.. hes not dead.. look.. he moves his arm.. yes, i helped but its moving.. its alive.. dont call the cops.. its all fine"

Re: Review: Super Mario Run (Mobile)

ironside1911

Untitled

8/10 .. sure... make it 16/10 .. and watch the stock crash more... it should be time for some more honest reviews finally. Everything Nintendo is so hyped up and clearly it doesnt correspond to other reputable sources ... but definatly helps maintaining the "dodgy" feel when buying Nintendo stuff in 2016.

8/10 is a far cry from a user score of 5.6/10 on metascore. 6.5 on here ... 60% on 4players... or just straight from bloomberg.com:

"Nintendo Co. plummeted in Tokyo after the debut of Super Mario Run was met by lukewarm reviews."

" “There are a lot of people writing on the App Store that Super Mario Run isn’t very fun. Perhaps expectations were too high.”

Overhyping stuff on purpose (well, if you LOVE everything Nintendo so much perhaps there should be a disclaimer in your review saying that the score is always at least 2 points above average when it says Nintendo) will just make people forget about this game even faster...

And on top of all that .. whos actually surprised about this "success"... it has been said many times before and I guess that was judgement day for Nintendo trolls.

Make it 1$ and perhaps you will actually really win some new fans or at least have them say "ah.. well, its a dollar... its alright" .. perhaps next time they go into a store they might remember Mario, cause they dont have the "ah, mario, f him ... already wasted 10$ the other day" trauma

Worst Nintendo year ever, with the final nail to it with Mario Runner...

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Thinks Nintendo Should Have Made Minecraft

I guess 20 years ago they were also experimenting with internet and online play ... also very interesting how "they" managed to turn it into a product ... perhaps you could steal some ideas from that?

It would have been very interesting to see what the company could have done with such a "concept" back in the 3DS era....ah oh.. its on right now? hmmm

Re: Guide: The Best Nintendo Gifts For The Holiday Season (US Edition)

Nice, you put the article now on top again without checking any prices .... well done.

So yea, order 2 copies of Mario Splash through that amazing link... of course its cheaper on Amazon, but hey, you dont want this "independent" platform to go broke.

Its really embarassing... just look up random stuff... Splatoon 3-Pack ....34.99 ... great deal .. sure, its 29 on amazon .. but hey, you can afford it

Re: Super Mario Run Will Require a Constant Online Connection

ironside1911

It will be cracked anyway, no matter what Nintendo tries to do.. its easy to fake an internet connection, but if its some sort of constant-down/up stream, like a streamed game rather than fully locally stored... bye bye with that, I dont think Nintendo realises what kind of Internet packages are used in europe, prepaid ... but yea, if you plan on playing it at home on your mobile... amazingly smart idea, Nintendo ... lets see and wait for the official sales numbers, will be funny

Re: Guide: The Best Nintendo Gifts For The Holiday Season (US Edition)

ironside1911

@Rhino47 I believe I have mentioned this in my last sentence.

Regarding this and the "best effort" mentioned to come up with this, it takes literally just seconds to compare some of these prices.

But I see the Mario Offer has been adjusted now

More to go, here:

Yo-Kai Watch .. also cheaper on Amazon .. I mean, I just dont think the prices were compared.

Look the Wii U Pro Controller... 49.95?? Its 37.99 on amazon again ... so yea.. it does leave a bad taste regarding effort and trust what is promoted.

Re: Guide: The Best Nintendo Gifts For The Holiday Season (US Edition)

ironside1911

Untitled

What kind of guide is this supposed to be? Regular products for retail prices? Great, thanks alot for this information.... one questions, are there actually any places on this planet where e.g. Mario Star Rush costs more than 39.95? Its 28.99 on freaking Amazon ... your whole list looks like you selected on purpose the worst deals possible.

Yea I know you want to make money but this is just poor...

Re: Review: Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (3DS)

ironside1911

@SWATlozar look, i know its hard to understand when in highschool.. but copies of that game are send out in THOUSANDS before release day and perhaps you and your schoolyard buddies need to wait until release day but thats why we tell u upfront... now please go and buy a copy of this... "game" .. for "full price" ... to support the life of Nintendo ... since we all love mario "no matter what kind of .... is inside"

Edit: Please buy the digital download version for fullprice only (Not the nasty big heavy box with the cardridge inside.. thats absurd)

Re: Review: Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (3DS)

ironside1911

@gcunit Yes and we can also continue pointing to different philosophies but its more like a bazar where you try to sell me something overpriced by trying to make it sound nice... nah, cheers ... it was rated a 9 out of 10 which is the highest compared to reputable sites ... and 10 out of 10, if you use 10 out of 10, then its perfect: 10 matches 10 ... its not 11 out of 10 .. its 10 out of 10 .. its a perfect game... a game that fullfills all at a current time required...now you can go and argue what is "perfect" but im pretty sure u get the point.. else dont even use the 1-10... this whole rating is pure propaganda and history will prove me right

this whole thing reminds me of the south park episode where they are selling the fake diamonds on shopping channels..... you know what youre doing by trying to convince people its 9 out of 10 ... you know that... so just stop doing that hehe... anyway, as i said, happy collecting... im sorry i hurt some nintendo feelings again

Re: Review: Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (3DS)

ironside1911

Untitled

I guess thats how scores are made....

If you really think this is a 9 out of 10 .. like nearly a perfect game - then your review scores are worth less than platinum points. You should release this in some sort of official Nintendo-promotion-magazine ...

IGN gave it a 7.2 ... Metactric anything between 50-80 ...wired calls it dissapointing... but no .. where Nintendo is involved, its a 9 out of 10 ...

I assume when they will release a Tetris-Maker with no online mode, it would be also at least a 8 out of 10 ... and a calculator app should be 6 out of 10.

Im pretty sure some have more fun playing Icestation-Z for 2.99 with multiplayer and chat and voicechat longterm than this, just because this whole 3DS Mario Maker version is pointless ... and they will release it again either on switch or during end of 3DS lifecycle ...with the features that actually gives this title its logic for existence.

This title is just another piece in Nintendos "lets try to make some quick cash with close to zero effort else our shareholders keep asking weird questions again" strategy and they couldnt care less what they release with that name since its just based on their calculation as in: 50% of all Wii U users bought mario maker ... but only 12 million got sold .. 3DS sold 60mio... thats what Nintendo wants...

10 years ago, stuff like this would be given as an "extra" by Nintendo ... now its a full price title .. happy collecting.

Hyrule Warriors Legends - £24.49 / €27.99 (30% off)

hahaha...

Funny stuff, anyway, even the limited edition, new, sealed, is 24.95 euro, on amazon ... im really starting to believe this is some sort of internal nintendo joke/experiment, they want to see how far they can go until nobody buys anything anymore digital.

Re: New My Nintendo Rewards Include European Launch Discounts

ironside1911

@manu0 Because, naturally, one-way digital downloads have to be more expensive.. because.. thats the way it is? Actually no - you have plently of digital online retailers, mmoga to whatnot with very strong discounts on digital downloads (i mean digital downloads in general on all platforms - current example Fifa17). So, I wont deal with Nintendos joke rewards - Im sure sooner or later some magazine will pick up their weird business tactics as of late.

Re: New My Nintendo Rewards Include European Launch Discounts

ironside1911

@manu0 um thats actually ridiculous and you know why, because thats why I wrote its off the retail price. I believe you are familar with videogames longer than for 2 weeks and Im sure you bought games in the past, so you also know that there is NO WAY someone would have to pay the retail price as thats not how compeition works these days and its not Nintendo whos running shops worldwide. Just by googling you will find e.g. 7th Dragon 3 already for 35 euro brand-new retail copy with the value of selling it off someday. These "rewards" are a scam from the start. Even after you spend that money, collected your points, spend your time to "get rewarded" , you still pay more than by just buying it straight somewhere else - same product - and thats why no, I didnt notice its good - its horrible and continues to become even worse when you think its not possible anymore.

Re: New My Nintendo Rewards Include European Launch Discounts

ironside1911

Untitled
Say it out loud ... 50 Gold Coins ....FIFTY..... accumulated by spending real money on Nintendo products... turns into a REWARD in form of a 10% voucher off the RETAIL PRICE ... unreal, Nintendo. I think sometimes its better just NOT to even offer this kind of stuff or even write about it. Not sure bad publicity is still good publicity in this case. Why you dont simply just start a Nintendo-Fan-Crowd-Funding project .. .instead of offering something, just offer nothing and say you want money. I think might work better than these "rewards".

One more thing:

Metroid Hat - 50 Platinum Points (available until 7th December)

Even when its available until 7th december 2029 ... it wont make any difference. Is there actually someone who got paid for compiling this "update" at Nintendo or is this some sort of random generator?

Re: Review: Ice Station Z (3DS eShop)

ironside1911

While there is no issue connecting online with others for me, this game is some sort of an alpha-build abandoned a long time ago and the developers decided to get back whats possible productioncost-wise .. its not a complete game, the bugs wont be ever (as they dont continue working on it) fixed and it has some weird crashing glitches which most likely will push this game into oblivion soon ... so yea, its a 2.99 "online zombie multiplayer" but thats why there has to be catch, if it would be a full game with all bugs fixed they would charge way more for it.

Re: Famicom Mini Leads The Way In Japanese Charts, Leg Warmers May Be Next for a Big Comeback

Sure retro sells but this ranking is a comedy. You cant list something as the NES Mini with the real videogaming market, else you would also have to list some 20$ android powered craplet running the nes emulator or some 5$ key-chain lcd games... im sure it would also beat the PS4 in sales.

But yes, thanks to the cheap production costs, Nintendo is just printing (some) money with it for the moment

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Switch To Start At £199.99 In United Kingdom, $329.99 In Canada

ironside1911

@Malakai What kind of "insiders" stated that a portable gaming device, which is partly relying on battery power for its use and selling point, would feature a CPU that is "greater" than the X-One/PS4? Thats funny, but no, wont happen.

A Gameboy is also "capable" of handling "ports" from the Arcade. I assume you expect something like a 1:1 port of a PS4 game (major title) on THAT device? Nah, never ever. Price & technology is just not there. You will get some "features" like perhaps FULL-HD resolution (or higher) but that doesnt mean it has the same graphical/cpu power overall. The gap will be always there, its part of Nintendos way of trying to sell "innovative" devices, not high-end ones.
