My son got it for his birthday today. When he, my daughter in law. my 2 grand children finish the game; I'll be playing it. I am in no rush and at my age I learnt patience
Since I removed - cut it with a small nail scissor - the very small rubber flap under the joycon stick and re-calibrated it after; the drift does not happen again. My son and grand-daughters did the same and no drifting anymore.
The drift started to happen when playing Mario Kart and Witcher 3. Since then; I played 320 hours on Witcher 3 and never had the problem again.
I will not buy it. I already played and finished the Wii version twice; once on the Wii and re-played on the Wii U. As well; I finished the 3DS version.
I really wonder how it will be like for Pikmin3 on the Switch. I finished it on the WiiU and using the Gamepad allows the gameplay to be faster and more direct. It is one of few games on the WiiU where I find the Pro Controller not very intuitive and useful.
After 35 hours+; I finished Link Awakening Wednesday. So this week-end I will continue the Wii game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword; but playing it on the WiiU.
Had to send the original XBOX 2 times for free repair and the XBOX 360 3 times for free repair. Since then, I haven't bought Microsoft console. Never had problems with Sony console from the PS1 to PS3 (did not buy a PS4 yet), PSP, and the original VITA with the OLED screen. As far as Nintendo is concerned, I had the drift problem with the left Joy-Con; but fixed it with the calibration procedures described by Nintendo.
Last week I bought The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass for the DS on the Wii u virtual console. The virtual console allows many ways to play a DS game. The option I prefer is to use the GamePad to mimic the lower screen of the DS and my TV for the upper screen of the DS; as well as visual option turned ON to smooth the graphics.
Finally a 32Gb cart for a big game! Having English as the only default language in the cart would save space; thus allowing a language pack download makes sense.; just like Skyrim and other games.
Hi there; I agree. With Skyrim, Bethesda allowed the download of your preferred language (english was standard in the cartridge). That is very smart; because having all languages would require a bigger size.
While I understand the reason Sega used a less expensive cartridge; Nintendo should make the 16Gb less expensive for the 3rd party developers. As well and IF possible; 16Gb should be the minimum size cartridge kept in their inventory...or better yet make the 32Gb as standard and everybody will be happy.
However; why don't all games have online manual; similar to the 3DS/WiiU simply by pressing the HOME button?
Last year I bought StarLink Battle for Atlas and no instructions are provided; not even a simple explanation of all the items on the HUD display and/or maps. However; I completed the game and enjoyed it very much; but some kind of online manual would have been appreciated.
I power on my WiiU with the Pro Controller, once the menus is displayed press either X or Y, doing so allows you to navigate without the Gamepad or a Wii controller.

Re: Random: Fans Have Made Their Very Own Splatoon 2 Instruction Manual
Reading the 3DS/Wii U digital game manual by simply pausing the game with the HOME button was great. Please bring back this logical approach.
