Re: Acclaimed Arcade Racer 'Horizon Chase Turbo' Being Delisted From Switch eShop

@Moroboshi876
The physical card for Switch had random frame hitches that made it unpleasant for me to play. Though this might have been patched since then. This gives me an excuse to try again.

I just now tried playing the first course on a digital copy (installed to micro SD) on a non-OLED, launch Switch and it plays nice and smooth. I also popped my card into a Switch 2, and the first course runs smooth as butter.

YMMV, but I think it runs great now.

I'm glad folks are smart enough to notice the bias.

Companies sure do love paying people to misinform and delude themselves. Must be nice spending the legacy money previous, better employees made for the company coffers.

That safety net should be what drives them to take real risks in order to innovate. Instead they craft soma for their brave new world of cultural malaise.

The menus are terrible. Give me an analog cursor, and actual signposted/highlighted menu options on the home screen. I played Bleach Brave Souls on the Switch, and it's menu still sucks, but it's leagues better than Hunter's.

The game itself is a basic team shooter, nothing to write home about. You don't even really need to be a team player, because most characters can steamroll everything with the skills you've picked up in a real shooter--like Quake. I don't think I ever ran into a real person on there, either. It's all bots.

What's sad is they know they'll catch flak if they release it on other platforms. It's designed to lure kids into paying, so that's why it's on mobile and Switch. Two platforms with the audience they can prey on. Zynga are some sick mofos.
