Great list. I've played 6 of those games (hopefully Konami will put Belmont's Revenge on the 3DS VC soon) and they were all great. Here's my top 5 for all consoles.

1. Super Castlevania IV
2. Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
3. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
4. Castlevania Rebirth
5. Castlevania III

Well I can say one good thing about the treasure hunting levels, they're a hell of a lot better than those stupid fishing levels from the first game. Those aren't crappy, they're atrocious. Stuff like that shouldn't be a part of the main game.

Anyways, I already said what I would give it today, but if I were to rate it even with rose tinted glasses, I can't give it anything higher than an 8. I liked it more back then, but if it weren't for Chao Garden, if wouldn't have gotten nearly as much playtime as it did.

Apparently this game was released in Japan and Europe, but not NA. First 3DS VC import game perhaps?

Radical Highway was one of the better levels in SA2 so that's not too bad, although I wish SEGA would've given the game more classic levels. Shadow's not too bad either but if Silver is in it like SuperSinSlayer said (haven't been really following the news for this one enough so I don't really know) then that's going a bit far.

Back then there wasn't really anything that bothered me about the N64 but nowadays its the graphics. That's a problem with that generation of gaming in general. The graphics have aged poorly (unless the games use sprites and stuff like that). For the N64, it's the fact that all the textures are so blurry.
