Those are some pretty bada** graphics for GBA.
I have heard that this is the all-time worst Nintendo-published Mario game out there.
This is both my least favorite Mario game and my least favorite pinball game
Yeah this one's not too great. A standard pinball game with a Mario theme would've been so much better.
To be honest, I enjoyed this game.
What I didn't enjoy was the fact that your only saved file was ALWAYS suspend data, never a permanent file.
Let me tell you, working all the way to the final boss and having your nephew load the only save file and then turning it off isn't exactly a happy experience.
I remember the physics not being the best, but it was definitely fun at the time to play.
The physics are not the best but the gameplay is very well designed, with a lot of different challenges, all very well thought-out. Some of them are even added as a way to increase replay-ability (The Red Coins), and overall the game does not grow monotonous, as pinball games usually do.
