Alot of these Chinese knock off games keep appearing on here with ridiculous titles, stolen assets, images that look like other games, etc. Look at "
Madness Brutal Fighting - Mortal Fight Battle Attack Multiplayer" (real name),
"Max Reckoning - A Criminal Thief Story With Shooter & Quest", and this brilliant title: "
Deep Space:Action Fire Sci-Fi Game 2023 Shooter Strike Simulator Alien Death Ultimate Games".
Come on Nintendo, where's your quality control at? Some of the games I listed above look so copyright infringement.

Nintendo needs to step up their quality control. eShop is looking alot like google play store and apple app store.

I know there's issues, but at it's current state they aren't game breaking and even so I don't care. I'm just happy grand theft auto is finally on switch. We were stuck with saints row for the longest time now we finally have GTA. They are still playable and look fine and play fine, after the updates. I really really really wish they'd port GTA IV (yes, 4) to switch. I loved IV the most of the entire series. Hard to believe it's still stuck on decades old consoles (PS3/360).

Nintendo is so out of touch with their customers it’s not even funny. People these days have no money because of inflation and high souring rents and low wages. We just came out of a pandemic too. Yet these old crusty switch games are still being sold for full retail value. Why don’t we have a platinum or budget line anymore? This is sad. Most of these games should be $40 regular price and $20 on sale. $60 regular price and $40 on sale is a joke and why so many haven’t played these switch exclusives yet because they’re hilariously overpriced. Sorry not sorry. Yet, look at PlayStation and Xbox sales that they do and notice the major difference. Starting to question if i should abandon the Nintendo ship.

@Vil I refuse to sub to the expansion right now. There’s no N64 games I actually care about on there right now. Pokémon stadium 1 and 2 are favorites of mine but are still MIA even after being announced early last year for the service. I don’t like genesis either. It’s not worth the price. If they’d add gameboy advance and potentially DS then it would be.

I wish Nintendo would ban cloud games on switch for the sake of quality. They all suck, even on the best connection. It’s even more ridiculous companies like Capcom are asking full retail value for this trash. It also makes it seem like the switch is so underpowered that they have to cloud emulate older games to get them running. It’s embarrassing.

I've played Animal Crossing GameCube, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Animal Crossing New Horizons. New horizons is considerably better than the others especially that trash pocket camp.

@durrdevil same way that Christopher Gans claims a new silent hill movie is on the way yet the series hasn't had a new game since 2012.

Matter of personal opinion of course but I don't think every video game property needs a movie...

Anbernic makes great devices. Ive had a few of them over the years. They aren't power horses that can play psp, Vita, PS2, etc, but if you just want to play retro games like ps1, gba, genesis, snes, etc, they're systems are great for that. Batteries last a long time as well.

Sega being stupid as usual. No wonder their hardware business failed.

I wish these companies would stop treating us Nintendo owners like low priority or second class gamers. We always get delays, later release dates, inferior products, etc. It's sad.

I wish they'd let us have folders on the HOME SCREEN. That would solve the problem.

Only partially true. Silent hill 1 and 2 were low budget entries that by chance exceeded sales expectations and they raised the budget for 3/4. Team silent was originally a studio by Konami that was put together by the "under performing" workers in the company that were "on their way out" if their next game failed.

Regardless, it doesn't matter. Indie studios despite being low budget should still try to be original. All these horror games ever since slender released have all been the same carbon copies of each other. Steam is infested with these games as well.

I'm getting really tired of every horror game this generation being a first person point a to point b adventure that relies on jump scares and cheap gimmicks. What ever happened to silent hill? That series was a masterpiece and an example of how to do horror right.

I don't understand why having too few checkpoints and having hard races knocks it down 3 points to a 7/10. The races being too hard is more user error while the checkpoints I do agree with, but shouldn't mark it down that much. Game deserves a better rating!

This game wasn't THAT bad. It was basically like a board game where you open doors and stuff. I played it and it is entertaining for a few minutes. It's basically just a Mario random spinoff. It was never meant to be a platformer or party game or racing game like the main series games but it's more of an "other" game like the Mario typing games and stuff.

They need to port GTA IV to modern consoles. It's insane that it's still locked on PS3 and 360.

Sidenote: the reason GTA trilogy failed so bad is because Grove Street games used to be warhog games and they handled the very bad android versions of the games too. They fail at everything they do yet rockstar keeps hiring them.

While I dont really play online games it makes me wonder though how much it really actually costs them to keep these old servers running? They are a multi billion dollar company. I can't see this hurting any keeping them on.

I hate multiplayer games. Single player all the way. Ea just wants their games multiplayer so they can eventually shut them down and take the money and run.

To ea, a multiplayer game is essentially a form of DRM. Look at SimCity and Darkspore.

Sounds about right. There was a rumor/"leak" that Spyro 4 was also cancelled around the same time when they made toys 4 Bob a call of duty support studio. Disgusting.

But there is hope for games like Spyro, Tony Hawk and the other forgotten IPs once Microsoft takes over.

They're really trying to kill this series off for some reason, huh? Sonic is Sega's money maker. Sega is a washed up company this generation and needs sonic. They shouldn't play around like that.

Not gonna happen but wouldn't mind seeing a new animal crossing related game.

It's unlikely it will come to switch. Newer titles using Bethesda's creation engine like fallout 4, fallout 76 and Starfield won't either, because Bethesda says the engine is too advanced.

I wouldn't mind seeing ports of fallout 3 and New Vegas though.

Hopefully a surprise announcement of resident evil revelations 3 aka "outrage". But tbh I'm not expecting any more resident evil games on switch. They skipped switch with the remakes, never ported any other games like code Veronica or outbreak, and haven't done any original switch game.

I'm mad at Capcom because they are still once again ignoring the switch fanbase. Xbox and PlayStation keeps getting all those cool remakes and we get nothing.

For that price I hope it doesn't sell and the company sits on the units for years.

I really wish they'd give us in game footage of the switch version running. They've shown other consoles running, why not switch? Makes me worried about this port if they are reluctant to show it in action. I loved the Harry Potter games as a kid and this is the first one in over ten years for consoles and I really really really want it on switch but if it's a broken buggy mess on launch I won't be buying it. Prove me wrong.
