u know..what's the point of putting sob much detail into these levels if ur just going to either fly by them with sonic speed or speed run the whole stage.

I liked the original 3 sonics speed mech to the stages..I get it he's fast..but why in such a hurry..

also, I'd love to see the special stages make a return, the original sonic special stage and music, and sonic 2 stages.

don't tell me they expect the chaos emerald to be given without entering the stages..

I wish they would make another Pac-Man Adventures gsme like the one on PS. the mazes were cool, the game was nice.

didn't really care for any of the Nintendo Themes..would rather have my own background imported for a theme tbh.

but hoping the direct is filled with good variety of topics other than arms and spla2.

this looks awesome, I'll definitely purchase once it's out. love the interview with the company and the inspiration to include his daughters ideas.

Pankapu looks great,that's the main title that caught my attention. I hope Nintendo doesn't include devs that filled the eshop wirh trash..at least the games being introduced are games..not cash grabs. won't name any names..but u know.

most excited about this, love the zoomed in game play fighting graphics. looks good to me. switch is shaping up to be a console to have..now if only I could get my hands on the neon color..

@kingc8 I've played an VB emulator that's Grayscale and found it way more enjoyable than the deep red.,but I'm thinking the sale of VB Collection for Nintendo Switch couldn't be at a better time than when the VR kicks in.

what if Nintendo releases its VB Collection as a complete set for Nintendo SWITCH later in the year when and IF they have Virtual reality headset.

I love emulators, I'd be lucky to even find a NES Mini..but its still cool to see it done.

I can't find a pre-order yet.. but more and more i'm hoping I'll get my chance.. Nintendo games have always been way more entertaining then alot of 1st person shooters out there, I myself love colorful and fun games. Nintendo has alot of great IP, they just need to find the best way to use the switch and let it all play out for them.

@jwfurness ah ok, that's understandable. too bad there isn't just one nintendo shop for all the switch devices, there would be countless games to play, even if some are only in Japanese. I figured with the switch it'd be a marketplace like Nvidia has with its tablet range in. Nintendo doesn't disappoint tho..so I can't wait for March 3rd .

I've been playing a VB emulator and looking at some handheld game consoles in the market and I'm really hoping the switch succeeds.

there is so much potential to make the switch do everything a tablet does (with some revisions) and opens the door to new game consoles for future play.

love that it's grab and go like my 3ds, but in the end after so many years of 3ds it eill be replaced if not by switch then by the next.

I wish nintendo would use more of their character IPs to immerse into new worlds.

only time will tell how good the switch is..Nintendo just set the bar high imo.

can't wait to see what Sony and MS come up with next ;D

I'm not sure at the moment..I have my Wii U, I'd like to try before I buy and find out about digital purchases..

if everything I just bought gets transferred to the Switch I'd be down for Switch Day 1.

@DanteSolablood I like the drawing pad on the miiverse, it was sensitive to the touch. Apologies for not being tech savvy with resistant or capacitive screens, I just hope that the screen does support for drawing,as I do enjoy doodling.

For the price of the stylus pens on the market it wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo did release its own stylus to accompany the Switch.. on top of all the other high priced accessories.

@DanteSolablood hoping for a capacitive pen should there be a drawing app. If Nintendo could carry over Art Academy that'd be great.

i also enjoyed the Miiverse drawing board..

the more and more I read these articles,I feel tempted to buy..but also there's alot of stress with the prices..the console price is understanding..but the game prices and accessories are where it's on the pricey end.

If this Bomberman title was an actual game like Bomber man 64. I can understand the price range. But for bomb battles only? or is there a story..?

people are bias to the prices,myself included.. but I'd rather pay for a full blown game for 50$.

I feel nintendo just wants to overprice,and get the most they can,but they should play smart and lower the cost,and guarantee sales with the value price..

if Switch functions as a normal tablet but is a Custom Nintendo OS the thing better have damn good connection to the Internet. think of the benefits of having all its apps downloadable, it's own app store..just like the Nvidia Tegra has the EVGA store..and it has a stylus pen..that would make Nintendo the first console game/tablet completely on hardware that people have and want.

Make it happen Nintendo.i hope it's as exciting as I imagine it.

would love to see the Gameboy name make a comeback after the DS family cycle. I enjoy handheld games on the go. switch will allow me to game on the go and at home. love the idea.

hello nintendo..it's a new system,overstock it..sell it as it is,then release bundles as more and more games and accessories come out.

how and why do they do this limited stock talk..it shouldn't be a limit as to how many a customer can purchase,there shouldn't be any reason it's "scalper" season again..

I want a switch but the way it sounds I might be out of luck day one preorder..

not a big fan of Bill Trinen, or Reggie for the matter. Nintendo should be wanting all gamers to play their consoles and should focus on getting back everyone not just parents of kids or youth,what made the older generation consoles was that there were games for every type of gamer not just simple ones.

I hope to see Nintendo come back to what made them great in the first place.You don't see PS or Xbone with their clowns in suits representing why does Nintendo insist on letting those NOA clowns talk for them..

Oh well..I've been a fan of Nintendo since way back when. Good luck for Year of the Switch. Get back to the core of gaming..

I'll give it another hour and try again..is it multi-player at least..seeing as how the virtual console Mario Party DS is single player only..

the problem with Nintendo is they don't meet the demand. In my local walmart there were only 3 nes mini in stock.. just 3 for the whole thousands that live in the surrounding area ?

I hope the switch doesn't suffer from over shortages..I'd like to purchase day one if possible.

if nintendo plays their cards right it could be a successful launch.

I feel they need a new or better marketing team to push the new 'console' in the mass public. but here's to hoping nintendo gets out of the past and focuses on today's marketplace.

Bought Dragon Ball Fusions Tuesday, I've enjoyed it so far. I love customizing my characters,i loved Xenoverse. I'm not very far in the game but it's good thus far,different from what the usual games are..

January can't come soon enough. 2017 is the Year of NS (NES).

I bought the Wii U when it first came out, then after a few months more games released and new bundles. I might not be one of the first millions to purchase just because I want to see what other bundles are offered. If a bundle comes with games included different bundle boxes, more controllers, color schemes.

I'd hope the switch could be completely personalized as far as home screen. I think the LCD panel will be touch screen but when the controllers attach it will take away the touch function. maybe.

once more information comes out I'll gladly "switch" to a NS. just hoping they offer different colors or if it's something planned for down the future line.

As far as pricing. 250-299 seems good price. If they take a loss the lower the price the more people will buy. but if they charge as much as ps4 and xbone only the dedicated fan base will pay those kind of prices.

if the price is right I'd be glad to be one of the first.

@Savino I don't use my 3DS camera other than the AR cards, but I find myself using my PS vita for the camera and music player..

I'd hope NSwitch features both to be honest..more AR games and uses for the camera and console the better.

@retro_player_22 Yea I figure Nintendo wouldn't hurt their business with their own SD card branding, but as another user said 10 home console games fit on 32GB SD card I wonder how Nintendo plans to sale Full Size digital games unless it's all shrunk down sizes and keeps the quality.

Personally I'm more of a casual gamer but I do have my favorite games I'd like to keep on the console on the go digitally stored.

Enjoyed the reveal, but it raised more questions than answered.

hopefully the Switch doesn't end up with Nintendo only style SD cards like the Vita. They should include a 32GB SD card with the system (like the Wii U storage) and allow up to 256GB especially as I see this being a system pushing for digital purchases on the go.

Excited to see how this plays out.
